Most popular bar in town, especially among the college students, and has a great location - the first visible establishment when driving to downtown or delta state. Pretty good food, good draught beer selection. Not the best service, no liquor. I went in last Friday trying to order a burger at 9:06 but the waitress was quick to tell us that the kitchen closed at 9... so we sat at the bar to get a quick beer before going to Airport Grocery for food (their kitchen open until 10 and flexible with that time), and it took the bartender at Hey Joe's about 15 minutes to speak to us; we nearly walked out. They just added a very nice covered back patio set up with a stage, an upstairs deck, cornhole, and giant jenga. Quizo (bar trivia) on Wednesdays is always fun. Food is solid, they have a rotating burger of the month that donates proceeds to charity. Burgers are tasty. Get a double patty for only $1 more. Crowd is very trendy/hipster though, which isn't my preferred scene.

For whatever reason, Cleveland seems to be awash with good places for burgers and Hey Joes is definitely one of them. I had the Kevin Bacon burger and it comes not just with bacon but also with a fried egg. Nice! The craft beers and big old bar decor only adds to the feeling you could hang here for a long time. The waitress on a Monday evening was super friendly, helpful and informative. The only negative I will throw out is avoid the sweet potato fries. They are a pretty horrible interpretation of fried shredded God knows what. I'll definitely be back when business brings me into town.

The first time I went here I wasn't all that impressed. However, once I was suckered back with some friends and I ordered the jalapeno chedder stuffed burger my mind was blown. Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. I have been here with large groups and small and the service is always pretty good. They also used to have man's night were PBR was dirt cheap which was great. My one complaint is that the burgers aren't always cooked the best, but if the chef does it right the jalapeno burger is awesome.

Delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. I stopped in here after seeing it on Yelp and now it's a mandatory lunch stop anytime I go through Greenville. It was a little hard to find the entrance at first but after eating the best burger I've had in years I'll never forget.

First of all let me state that I'm not a local but an out of town visitor. Very cute little place in downtown Cleveland. Friendly staff - was seated and served very quickly. Decent selection of beers. Fried pickles are the way to go. I had no idea I would like them so much. As a vegetarian there's limited fare (but I've done that to myself). Still, the grilled cheese (came with fries, they let me sub in onion rings - fried food heaven!) was great. If you are in Cleveland be sure to stop by.

Good burgers. Not my absolute favorite place in Cleveland but it's consistently good, quality food. There have been times I've called in orders and they've taken longer to prepare than I was told. Overall a decent place to get a burger.

I have to say that this was my most frequented establishment in Cleveland. The fried pickles here were probably the best I've tasted (compared to Airport Grocery and the Warehouse) with a very generous portion. There are lots of TVs and they are receptive to requests for specific sports or subtitles. The Miss July burger (they feature a new one every month) was a bison burger with jalapenos and I'm glad I ordered it. Next time, I'll try the sweet potato fries, but the regular fries were nicely done and I had no complaints. Definitely walked out stuffed. The hipster dogs (hot dogs - hipster stand because it has a mustache) have awesome toppings for $4, chili cheese for $5. I had bacon bits, bbq sauce, and jalapenos along with all the regular toppings which was a pleasant surprise. The beer selection here is probably the best in Cleveland as well. They try to stay as stocked as they can and have 3-6 on tap, depending on the day. From Mexican imports like Bohemian and crafts from all over the country, I could almost always find a beer I liked and wanted to try, along with local beers like Southern Pecan and from local breweries like Abita. Wednesday trivia nights are also a treat! Locals get competitive and it's usually pretty close, but first place is the sole winner of a $30 gift card to Hey Joe's. They say they're a record store, but they have like... 30 maybe and they're a teensy bit overpriced. Other than that, I love that there are open mics, local bands playing, and DJs occasionally on the weekends. I'll be needing to come to Cleveland one Saturday per month for professional development meetings and I know I'll definitely be back to Hey Joe's.

This is the place to go if you like good beer, a cool crowd, and fun atmosphere. Open mic is great, you may even see a local legend like Bill Abel, but beware of the techno...worst case you can go outside to their patio and catch a game and meet the local flying critters. trivia night is also a blast.

Passing through Cleveland on a gorgeous Saturday, we spotted a crowd on their patio for St. Patrick's Day and decided to try out the place. The staff were friendly and the menu looked amazing. We had already eaten lunch, so we just enjoyed a few Abita Strawberry beers and some hummus with grilled pita. This place is the perfect oasis in the Mississippi Delta. We'll be back to try one of the burgers.

Hey Joe's is a delicious oasis in the small town of Cleveland. They have large portions of delicious comfort food such as burgers, hot dogs, sliders, etc. I've gotten a burger both times and both times it was excellent. They are pretty thick burgers all cooked to a medium-well and served on a ciabatta-like roll. My first burger had kind of a sloppy joe thing going on (that wasn't unpleasant), and the second time, it didn't (and that wasn't unpleasant either). Both times I enjoyed a tasty burger along with some delicious fries! They also have funnel cake (which I have not had, but it's fun that they offer it) and tiny fried apple pies (not on the menu for some reason, but they are delicious with a big pile of powdered sugar). The decor is cute and fun and looks more like Brooklyn than the Mississippi Delta. There are decoupaged Rolling Stone pages on the tables, colorful artwork all around, hipsters from lord-knows-where, and a stage for live music. Parking is around back as Hey Joe's is part of Cleveland's "Warehouse District" along with a salon and an art/class space. Service is quite friendly and pleasant; can be a little slow but is totally worth the wait!

This restaurant/bar sits in the perfect location - smack dab in the middle of downtown Cleveland. They offer an American style menu (burgers, club sandwich, nachos, etc.) and different types of beer. Their selection is large! The menu also varies. They do lots of weekly or monthly specials. They have a new burger every month. You can eat and drink inside (under a beautiful glass bottle chandelier), or make your way to the patio. It has an upstairs addition that makes for a prime location for people watching, or catching good views of the bands. Downstairs have a seat at the picnic tables or play a game of giant jenga. Hey Joe's has numerous open mic nights and musicians perform. Don't be surprised to find college students congregating here. You also might spot a professor or three on Trivia Night!

Burgers and fries were both really good. Appetizer of mozzarella sticks and the donuts for dessert were just so-so. Fun place with good service, would come back.

Great burgers - friendly, fast service with a smile. I am just passing through, but looks like this is where I'd be on a weekend evening!

You can experience Cleveland's number one business on Yelp. Opened in 2009, they have special events like trivia night and live bands that play here. I eat here every time I go on vacation to see my parents here in Cleveland, ms. I usually go to the bar when I am by myself. They have a good beer selection too including a magnolia beer that is made in Mississippi. I would get a sandwich here or a burger of your choice. There is another restaurant beside this one called the warehouse. However, service is better here and they are lot nicer and friendly. It doesn't matter who waits on me, they always have a smile. They have plenty of TVs in here too. There is a total of 6 TVs above the bar area. I like to come on Wednesdays as they have trivia night where you can win a $30 gift certificate to Hey Joes which can be used for anything here. Trivia starts at 8pm but I recommend getting here earlier.
