Remember that old blues song "Hole in the Wall"? Well, this is exactly what this restaurant is...a small, local mom & pop eatery that has absolutely no frills or extras visually. We ate here by fluke because I was in the area and it popped up on yelp. I'm glad it did. First off, the service is SO welcoming. The cashier and the cooks talk to you like you're family. For the food, the fried fish was fried to perfection; it was cooked until the skin was nice & crispy and the meat was moist and tender. I also tried the burger. It was good, but in my opinion, it would've been better had it not been cooked so well done because it got kind of dried out more than my personal taste. Fries were seasoned nicely, but they weren't fresh cut or anything, Try them out if you're ever in the Canton area.

WOW! Damn good Mom and Pop burger! Damn good! I told them I came to see what the hype was all about and they laughed at me, right when I was walking out, they said - "You'll be back!" - and I told them I will drive for some grub - they did a real good job on the burger! Ambiance - reminds me of Stamps in Washington Addition - from the neighborhood - to the actually eatery. But if you are true foodie - you will venture to try the goods, regardless of location. I notice some Yelpers are afraid to venture out of their comfort zone - but not this Yelper here! They were kind and courteous and definitely worthy of repeat business for me. The location wasn't hard to find either coming from I-55. The only thing I would say - come early. I heard after 7pm - they get really busy.

The local's referred me to 2 different burger joints for the "best" burger in town. The "Nu South Fish and Sandwich" & the "Ms. Bar-B-Q". Both are great! Nu South adds seasonings to their 3/4 lb meat mixture and Ms BarBQ uses 1/2 lb of pure beef. The only seating at NuSouth are the chairs lining the walls of their waiting area. All orders are "take out" and the locals just place their orders on the phone & pick them up during their lunch breaks or on their way home. Ms Bar-B-Q has a few mismatched tables & chairs but again, the locals usually call in their orders "to go".
