What a wonderful surprise. Nestled in charming downtown Brookhaven, Pasta Junction delivers a wonderful dining experience with a surprising range of choices. I was directed there by those I trust for "the best filet" in town. I strayed and tried the shrimp and crayfish pasta. Dining companion chose the Jambalaya. So good! Ventured back the next night to try the filet. Very good, but still preferred the pasta selections. Bar selections somewhat limited but still adequate. On tap beer delivered with hints of ice crystals. Will definitely be back on future trips to Brookhaven

Great red sauce, so I like the lasagna . And the bread pudding tastes as good as mine. The entree house salad is good. The dressing, thumbs up. The salad that came with my meal was meager. I'm not a fan of their bread. The garlic bread doesn't have enough garlic, and the muffuletta bread left something to be desired.

Amazing food. Great portions. My favorite is the pasta jambalaya and their bread pudding. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys pasta and any Italian food.

Just moved to Brookhaven 3/14/15 and went to Pasta Junction to eat dinner after a long day of moving... The food was amazing! I will certainly be going again and again!! The atmosphere was light and happy and the service was excellent! Very friendly wait-staff!!! Highly recommend going!!

Came to this place with a friend - so glad ! Had the special - shrimp & corn over pasta with a most delicious cream sauce - incredible is an understatement! But try the spinach dip- the best in the world - I wish this place was closer to where I lived! Boyfriend had Spagetti with one huge meatball - friend had a steak that cooked perfect! Service was good & the owner even came & checked on us while we were eating. It is a small place but to me that just made it even better! I wish this place the best of luck as we need more awesome restaurants like this!

Not a fan. Their chicken piccata is no where close to being chicken piccata. It was basically Alfredo. When I asked about it, the waitress swore it was chicken piccata. Not a good sign. Everything kinda tastes the same. Overpriced for the pasta I can make at home for an 1/8 of the cost. Was not impressed by the service or staff.

This is still horrible. Can't believe people eat here. Save your money and eat chef boyardee.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent environment. I had the pasta jambalaya. It is a fettuccine Alfredo cajun style with LARGE shrimp and smoked sliced sausage. The entrées are a little pricey, but there is enough food on one entrée to last for two meals.

As a visitor to Brookhaven, we had no idea how delicious the food is. Two had lasagna.....huge servings and both said is was excellent. 2 had the shrimp and crawfish cajun fettuccine. ...some of the best I've had! As good as Emeril's. Not overly spicy (thankfully) but delicious. Caesar salad was nice and crisp, however one leaf had a brown spot. Dressing very nice, a tiny bit more tangy than I get at home. The garlic bread could be eaten without heartburn. Not heavily laden with garlic, although I preferred both sides be toasted. Service was attentive but not overbearing I At home I dine at an Italian restaurant that is extremely highly rated. Food here was as good, and better priced.

Had the Jambalaya pasta, and the Cajun chicken pasta, both were well flavored, and portions were perfect. :)

I enjoyed lunch here very much. The side salad was just right and the twice baked lasagna was amazing.

I work nearby, and it is always a treat for staff to decide to have lunch together at Pasta Junction. I love the salads and sandwiches. Huge servings! Also, the staff are very friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu, and go out of the way to make your visit positive. Really like this place.

I'm giving it one star because it's requires. I had the lasagna and my friend had meat balls. The lasagna was meatless and sauce was bland , I asked staff about recipes and they just told me how there natchez is beat on south - NOT. The meatball entree was bland a swell and meat was overlooked. I ask the staff about chef and the waitress said he just started and was the dishwasher last week but real chef quit and he was only guy available - wth, so all in all, if your in bhaven and want pasta try pizZa hut or just forget it and go to little Tokyo!

Excellent food and service. Walking in to Pasta Junction you are immediately transported to another time. The beautiful tin ceiling is breathtaking. We ordered the chicken parmesan and chicken fettuccine. Let me just say that the portions are so generous. The food comes out hot and smells delicious. The manager is super hands-on and did a great job at making us feel welcome. I know this place will become a regular stop for us.

Highly recommend stopping at the Pasta Junction. The service was great. The people were very friendly and the manager was helping and making sure everyone was taken care of. The spaghetti sauce was amazing. Very different from a lot of other pasta sauces. The lasagna was also fantastic. The meat had the best spices put into it to make it very flavorful. The bread tastes homemade and was perfectly toasted, not over done. The salad dressings I believe we're also homemade. You can also watch the trains go by!

I am in town for work for a few days and heard about it. THE PASTA...the pasta is sooo good. I'm a harsh critic with pasta being from New Jersey. I love the cajun flare that was added

In a word .... outstanding! I was looking for a local restaurant while in Brookhaven Mississippi for business, found Pasta Junction downtown and tried it out. Some folks over promise and under deliver clearly not the case here. Had the fillet special - the steak was done to perfection, the covering sauce not overpowering, the carrots were perfectly done and the side pasta was quite a nice addition. If ever in Brookhaven this is not to be missed.

What an enormous waste of money and time. Seriously, we didn't expect much but astonishingly were disappointed. Entrees that were no better than a TV dinner, priced as though someone actually cooked something. Untrained wait staff - our little girl had no idea what she was serving and then actually stood over our table as we sorted out our bill. Not enough space to describe how poor this place is. We are not snobs here. Greasy spoon would've been better. Fast food would've been better. Anything would've been better.

Wonderful Italian restaurant! The service is fast and friendly, prices are reasonable, the food is delicious. My personal rave goes to the homemade salad dressing! Get the vinaigrette!! Spinach & Artichoke dip is great, cheesecake is HUGE and decadent. The entrees are great as well, especially the Chicken PIccata and The Junction :D We have been twice in one week and we will be back many more times!!

I LOVE Pasta Junction! Meatballs are the best I have ever eaten. The lasagna is really good too.. Large portions, delicious food, and attentive servers. Pasta Junction is the best! Oh, and their clear balsamic salad dressing is to die for.... Yummy

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
