Came on a Tuesday at 7:30....6 families were here. For some reason there are badass sushi makers in Brookhaven MS. Highly recommend!

Was in Brookhaven for business trip and looked for restaurant in town.... Not many choices but saw reviews on Yelp. Seafood soup was good and the Dragon Fly roll was very good. Service was excellent. I would eat here again.

I'm a sushi and habachi enthusiast. I've eaten it all over the country including the Bay Area of California. This can't compare to those but honestly for this area it's as good as it gets. Everything has great flavor and presentation. The service is tremendous. If you don't want to drive to drive to Jackson for Japanese then stop here!

Tuesday evening..... 7:30 PM.....NO ONE else eating there. Kind of makes a guy wonder. A person should not feel more comfortable eating sushi in Wyoming then he does in Mississippi. Decided to not try the sushi. Disappointing because I like sushi. Decided on the hibachi steak which wasn't bad and I really have no complaints on the food. The staff was over attentive probably probably because of the lack of people which was somewhat annoying. I would probably give it two and a half stars if that was an option.

Decent sushi, usually only get the Tokyo roll most times. The hibachi is nothing spectacular but staff provides friendly service!

Great hibachi and sushi, staff is friendly. Like most places in Brookhaven some of the dishes are a bit salty but over all the food is great. The sushi is very well prepared and presented, all the fish is super fresh. The environment is very hip, lots of LED lighting and fish tanks in the walls. The over all area is a little small and on weekends it's very hard to maneuver around the front desk and door which is blocked up with crowds of people waiting to be seated. Some of the staff seem a bit unexperienced but everyone is friendly and helpful. I've been to a lot of Japanese Steak Houses and this one, while no gem simple because of the location and size, is definitely the best you'll find within an hour of Brookhaven. This used to be the New Bo Bo Chinese Restaurant which moved down the road next to Mitchell's Steak House.

This is your run of the mill habachi steakhouse that have been popping up all over, much like the carbon copy mexican restaurants have been over the last 10 years. Went when it first open so I knew they had to get their kinks worked out and I had limited expectations. The habachi room is a little cramped with only two grills but plenty of seats, I think this is a good move on their part to keep the demand up and prices stable to maximize on the margin. It was far to crowded to eat at the Hibachi grill so we opted for a set table. I ordered the scallop habachi dinner which they cook in the back, it's basically the same entree you get if you are sitting in the Hibachi room without the extras and fanfare, price was the same. Food was good, not many scallops but lots of rice and the good pink sauce. Had a crab wonton appetizer that was very bad, overcooked and clearly low quality. Service was good, despite the busy crowd it seems they handled everything well. For the money, I think it's a little high but I enjoyed my meal and have frequented the place often since, getting take out instead of fighting the crowd. One bad experience was they tried to charge me $.50 for each small pink sauce I needed over two. I asked to speak with the manager and they said it was company policy. I asked her to check the computer and see how many times I've placed pick up there, she quickly gave me as many as needed which was only an additional two sauces. Containers are tiny and I explained to her that they were taking advantage of people and would lose customers potentially because of it. I'll continue to eat here occasionally because it's the only sushi/Japanese Habachi in town. I hope the business continues in it's success as they continue to tweak the areas that need it.

I think this Japanese restaurant is just as good as the more expensive ones I have been to in the bigger cities. Only complaint is how small it is on the inside. It does have 2 hibachi grills which where you can sit and eat.

Sushi is great! Hibachi is fair. Staff are friendly. Very nice, clean place. Beautiful aquariums & decor. One of my favorite places for sushi.

My husband and I took our newborn here. The waitress accidentally bumped into his high chair and his carrier knocked off the high chair. Luckily our newborn was strapped in and the handle to his carrier hung on the corner of the table. Unfortunately he hit his head and the area of impact was red and swollen. The staff just stared and said nothing during the incident. 30 minutes later the waitress FINALLY apologized. The management offered no apology and showed no kind of care or concern for our newborn. They just stared. We had to take our newborn to the emergency room and doctors had to closely monitor him. Needless to say we will NOT be coming back.
