I was in town for a basketball camp so I always go to Yelp to check out the best place to eat. The employees were all super friendly and we felt welcomed. I feel like I should add...the outside of the place looks like an abandoned gas station or something. Don't let that hinder you. Just. Go. In. I had the burger and fries and they were both really good. I gave it a 5 star rating because as far as I could tell there isn't a whole lot in this town. This will be the best you will find! If this were in a bigger city I would say a 4 star would be more appropriate. If I'm ever out that way I will definitely go back. I'd like to try their meat and three.

Excellent flat-top burger and fries. Just east at the North Brookhaven exit. 1/2 pound fresh grilled burger, fries and tea for under $8 A great break from all the chain restaurant garbage at the main Bhaven exit.

Family owned restaurant that is a good alternative to the many chain offerings here in Brookhaven. Also a great option for people traveling down I-55 who would like a sit down meal with some local character. I can vouch for the hamburgers here, one of the better ones around town. Haven't tried any of their Cajun fare, other than the Gumbo, but they have some good looking Po Boy's and I'm eager to sample the Panfried Trout. Gumbo was tasty. Owner operated, they were really nice and making sure that all customers were enjoying the cooking.

Only place I look forward to eat at when I get home looking for a hamburger. If you have not tried the burger here it is a must and they have great prices.

Excellent food and the price was really reasonable. The shrimp poboy is amazing as well as the onion rings. The wait wasnt very long for the food. And the people were very friendly. Overall a wonderful experience.

I keep telling the owners I'm going to try something else, but I can't skip the burger and fries. I've eaten plenty since I was pregnant four years ago. You'd think my child would look like a Chism burger. She enjoys the Mac n cheese. The greens were good. And the fried green tomatoes. Ok, so I HAVE tried something besides, or in addition to, the burger.
