Cool little Irish pub. Reminds you of a "Cheers" atmosphere (everyone knows everyone else) Good food, for a bar. The Ruben was excellent! Nice live music scene that's not too loud that you cant enjoy a conversation. Service was excellent! Try the Blarney Stones as an app. Great selection of draft and bottled beers. I would suggest staying away for Trivia night unless you're serious about playing (you will get shhh'd by the patrons! )

Not the best Irish Pub I've been to, but it's a cool little atmosphere. Food was pretty good too, they just need a larger beer selection for an Irish Pub but overall, I'll go again for sure.

The staff is extremely friendly, if you are looking for a place to grab a cold beer on the Rankin Co. side of the Rez. The beer pricing is higher than average, but given the location, it's understandable. Do not eat the food! This is not much of an Irish pub, and ALL of the food is greasy. The place also needs a good cleaning. This could be a hidden gem with a little work, but the only thing it has going for it is its location, since there are no other bars in the area. They made it non smoking, but still allow vaporizers, which I find just as unpleasant to be around.

Love the food. Shepherds pie, corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash... All terrific.

Bonny Blairs is a tiny restaurant that has a small selection of food that, I am assuming, supposedly Irish. There is a lot of Southern influence in this restaurant, which is understandably in Mississippi, but definitely not a real Irish pub. Although the owner, John (?), was very pleasant and served us well, he had no problems insulting a neighbouring restaurant openingly and loudly. He also quite insolent towards his own employees out in the dining area. My friend and I were very embarassed to be there and wanted to quickly finish our meal and leave. The food was mediocre. The homemade chips are are great novelty idea. However, they were extremely oily and unsalted. The "Londoner" I had was also bland. I will admit that the appetizer sampler was quite good and the portions are huge. If the food was mediocre and the service was great, we would have definitely returned at least one more time before leaving Jackson. But since the food was mediocre, and the awkward situation between owner and employee, we will not return again.

I have to say that the first time i came here, the bar reeked so bad from cigarette smoke that we couldn't stay- and I was a smoker! Now it ranks right up there as one of the best smelling bars I have ever been in- good job!

Had the patty o' melt and fries. The burger could use some salt or something, but it was decent. The fries seem to be homemade and they are excellent! We hung out to listen to the band and our waitress was very attentive to us the entire time. Facebook says this place is kid friendly, but it is not a smoke-free establishment. Having a good time regardless... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Came for lunch. No one here. Took forever to get a burger. The cook dropped a Ruben on the floor. Flies everywhere. The burger tasted like it was cooked the day before. The Ruben that was dropped on the floor was yuk. When I was here for supper on day it was good. THIS SUCKED

Something a little different about this place now. Still good, but the burgers seem a little less quality than they were previously. Good beer selection.

Very nice little pub. Atmosphere is nice. Food is OK. Service sucks. Got the burger and fries and it was above average. I really judge service on my refills (for drinks)- they were rare and far between. Advice for management- hire better staff. ** On an up note, it is an awesome place to hang out and unwind.

Nothing about this place is "Irish" or "British" and they should stop trying to advertise that it is. They are just a typical American place with average food and terrible service. If you go there expecting a REAL Irish or British pub experience in ANY manner, you will be disappointed. If you're just looking for an American burger - this might be right for you.

Great little man-cave type place to have a drink or some chow. For the size of the place, seems to be the right idea givin the state of the economy. Bonny Blairs could be around for some time. I had the basic burger plate.

Chips are great , sandwich was huge ..(7 out Of 10).. Beer selection nice.. Overal I liked the place.. Big selection of finger foods .. In the previous post I did see what that person was talking about. the owner was getting on to employees but I feel that is the right thing to do when you are starting a new restaurant.. First & foremost Bonny Blairs is a small pub...with 19 of the most common beers on draft (2 Rogue's are as exotic as they get), and an average selection of bottles. They have 6 or so tables and have decent food. Not as good as Fenian's probably, but they have very decent burger options with potato buns, buffalo sauce, peppercorn bacon & gouda, chili, hand-cut fries, etc... It's in the strip mall behind Soulshine Pizza on Old Fannin. There are better burger options around, but these are not bad.
