Got here on a Thursday. Went to check in a little before noon. They wanted to charge $25.99 to check in early. Then said from 1-3pm will be $15.99. I have never heard such a thing. In the meantime waiting for our room until 4pm we went to the pool. Well, the pool looks NOTHING like the website at all. They also stated on the website that happy hour was at 3pm. It's not until 4pm. When I mentioned it to the bartender she got an attitude with me and said nope everyone asks not happening. Then, I asked the waitress walking around for water and she told me no! Who says no. I thought she was joking. She never brought it to me. I went and complained to the bartender at the counter and she gave me a free mudslide which was $12.00. This bartender was Candy. She was really working her butt off. I did check in on facebook and one of my friends husbands got us in a suite which was extremely nice. Needless to say I will not be returning!

Got room on 5th floor. Paid $60/night (couponed my ass off) , which includes resort fee. TV bad. Staff moved me to 6th floor. Awesome room. Actually here now writing this review. Asked for water at bar. Bartender gave me tap. Tasted like metal, dirt and piss. I don't expect it to taste like bottled, and most places I just chug it and move on, but it tasted soooooo bad. Finally after the asking front desk, cafe, and fancy restaurant bartender, I finally get 2 bottled water. BTW the vending machine was out of bottled water hence my voyage to the seemingly endless quest for drinkable water. Management : It's just water people. Please just give the guests drinkable bottled water in their rooms. You're at a beach. I would have even paid for it if I found a vending machine that had it stocked. Anyways, look I get it. MS is still recovering, but man water? Cmon. I can even handle dirty linens, dirty floors... whatevs I'll just wear flip flops in the room, but not having access to decent water is no bueno especially at a beach location. Update : dear, yelper found a working vending machine on 6th floor. Got bottled water. I will not die of dehydration after all.

Filthy Rooms! Bad Management!!! My advice, Don't stay. First, we saw turn to channel 20 room service menu. We turned to channel 20 and no menu. Then, we went to coffee pot to have a coffee. Only one coffee packet for two people. Carpet was filthy and full of black stains and burn holes in a non smoking room. Full of them! Then, the shower walls had old bunches of long black hair dried to the walls! Just filthy. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Bed, lumpy. This place is a joke and a bad one! Management must be real bad with no quality control. Managers should get off their duff and inspect these rooms after so called cleaning. I won't be back. I put up photos for you. I forgot, they also rip you off for a $11.00 + daily resort fee for so called Wifi service as how could this be a resort without any room service! Fees galore tacked on. Wifi scam. Caesars' is now a bottom feeder corporation, I guess.

I stayed yesterday at Harrah's Biloxi (9/26/14). I have stayed numerous times at just about every casino/hotel on Mississippi coast over past 15+ years! but my stay at Harrah's was a 1st for me. We arrived at 11:50 to check in. We were informed that our room was ready, but check-in was 4pm. If we wanted to settle into our room immediately it would cost us an additional $25. We chose not to, an were surprised that a casino who wants me to throw my money away gambling would make such a rule. Then another guest wanted to check-in, and told if he waited till noon, the early check-in fee would be $15, not $25 as we were told. So we inquired and were told that after noon it goes down to $15, so we took this option, even though we disagreed with it. When we got to the room, I began to login to the hotel wifi. When prompted, it read that the wifi would cost $12 per day per device. Staying at other hotel/casinos on the coast, I have never been charged for wifi at any of them, let alone a fee per device. So we did not use the wifi. We then put on swimsuits and headed down to grab lunch and lounge by the pool. The buffet here is $30 per person, and after looking at it, it looked a 5 out of 10 on the appeal scale, so we he'd burgers at the Steak & Shake on site. The Beau Rivage doesn't charge $30 for lunch buffet. The pool is nice and staff seem nice, too. But, I must say, this was our 1st and last time at Harrah's Biloxi.

Biloxi is a town that was hit hard in recent years between Hurricane Katrina and the Recession. This hotel shows every scar. Geographically, it's convenient, with easy access to casinos, the highway, and Ocean Springs. However, the casino is small, ill-equipped and smells of old smoke. I would recommend the Beau Rivage as an alternative to gamble but the hotel itself is well kept. It does seem strange in this day of free wi-fi everywhere to have to pay $11.95 for internet access in your room.

Harrah's was a good place for the price. We had our dog and stayed on a pet friendly floor. I was worried when I read other review but I DEFINITELY cannot complain. The room was clean and fresh with no pet oder AT ALL. There was even a tag to hang on the door to show that thier was a pet in the room!! We had a great view of the water from our room. Bad thing was that the casino was HORRIBLE. You had to go outside the hotel to reach it. We went to the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock to gamble and get drinks. And they had no true restaurants there.

The Grand Casino Biloxi had nice "average" rooms -- nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. We were set to stay for two nights (Friday night and Saturday night). We arrived early Friday afternoon and decided to try out the restaurant/cafe for a late lunch. We waited a long time and were a bit disappointed with our meals. My wife's meal came out cold (on top of a crazy-hot plate) and my salad had just slightly-warm chicken on it. I'm assuming this was the fault of the bartender/waiter who probably forgot the food in the kitchen and it was left sitting for a long period of time. He should have checked the food and had it re-done, but he didn't. I ordered a salad with chicken and blue-cheese dressing. Within minutes of placing my order the bartender/waiter came back to the table with our drinks and plopped down two big packets of blue-cheese dressing. I have to say this turned me off right away. I'm ordering a salad with chicken for $12... and I get dressing from two foil pouches?? The dressing tasted different between the two pouches -- and the color of the dressing was different between the two as well... so I'm guessing one pouch was a lot older than the other. Bummer. The outside pool was fantastic -- featuring a sloping "beach access" type entrance and splash pad which was perfect for our little girl. A great hot tub/spa pool was large and pleasant as well. Unfortunately, on Saturday they had a "bikini contest" and they kicked everyone out of the pool area with small children from 2:00 pm until close. Normally this would not have been an issue, but at the "Grand" Casino Biloxi there isn't any real "lounge and relax" areas... so you're either stuck in your room the whole day, or you have to sit in the restaurant. Neither was appealing. I really should have booked our stay at the Courtyard Marriott a few miles down the road -- at least they always have nice, large "common" seating areas in the lobby as well as outside... with comfy chairs, couches, large television, WiFi, etc. I thought the hotel would be bigger (considering the "Grand" name) but it ended up being a parking garage, small lobby, pool area, restaurant/cafe, casino, and the hotel rooms. Even if we didn't have a small child there really isn't any place to "hang out" and enjoy your time off (unlike a Courtyard Marriott, or similar, hotel). You gamble, eat, or sleep... that's pretty much it. I guess I thought there would be more places to sit around and drink coffee and relax (besides my room or the uncomfortable cafe area) as two weeks prior we stayed at the IP Resort and Casino, which had a lot more "room" to walk around and relax in. Even if my wife and I were having a weekend getaway without our daughter I don't think I would stay at the Grand again. For the price it simply wasn't a great value over the IP Casino and Resort or something like a Courtyard Marriott. Still -- it was clean and the staff was friendly. Also, if you sign up for their players club card you automatically get one of three prizes... I received a free buffet and my wife received $10 worth of casino money. We were hoping for both of us to get a free buffet, as neither of us were there to gamble, and the buffet is $26 for dinner. Still -- my price for signing up gave us a "buy-on-get-one-free" deal on the buffet, so it wasn't all bad. I did enjoy the buffet a LOT more than the small restaurant/cafe they had near the lobby.

I love the home style feeling of this casino. Kim in the diamond lounge is awesome. Jared is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to take care of all guests. Vince and Nico at the craps table always make sure we have a good time. Every other Saturday night there is live entertainment in the casino (it might be seasonal) and in the summer the concert series is a good time as well. Overall, the employees are all friendly and make you feel at home.

It was ok. I like IP better. The food was horrible. I had to run to the restroom before I could even play good enough. My first & last time staying here. And the room? Omg I was woke up at 7am with my neighbors problems about her granddaughter being too young to date. Yes, I heard her whole conversation. I have a 6 hour drive who wants to be woke up to that madness. Not me.

Wow. That's all I can say about this hotel. My family and I wanted to get away for a few days. We went to Priceline and picked a deal that said a 4 Star hotel for a good price. THIS IS NOT A 4star HOTEL. When we got there, they didn't have our reservation and the women helping my husband literally gave him a fax number and said "see if they can just fax it" Really? Fax It? What great customer service....NOT! Another women was kind enough to try and help us locate the reservation. So she did about 45 minutes later, and we got our room key. Once inside the room we noticed that the room was very dusty, maybe because no one slept there in a while??? If Priceline would have been able to REFUND us we would have left but since we were there we would try to make the best of our mini vacay. My 5 year old daughter was very excited about the pool, so we went down just to get told that the pool was closing in 30 minutes for maintenance. It was 7:30. And the worker was very rude by saying that, as if she wanted us to just turn around and not even go around the pool. The next day we left in the morning for the pool again, hoping that we could enjoy it a little more than 30 minutes. And we did. But once we got back to our room we noticed housekeeping came, but what did they do? Change our sheets? The ice bucket, furniture and window seal were still very dusty. How can there little note on our table say that " we take pride in what we do" that's a lie. I wiped it down because I couldn't stand the dust. Who wants to have an allergy attack on a vacation? The food was horrible at the buffet... Very cold and just plain gros. We paid 49.00 to still be hungry, very disappointing. Needless to say we will NEVER stay here or even recommend this hotel to anyone we care about. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

The guy and I came on a whim during the week to stay the night for his birthday (and to get a break from Mardi Gras in NOLA). The check in was quick, and a very small fee to check in early. The casino is nice, but the machines are great, The guy enjoys the tables, and he had fun playing and people watching. The buffet where we ate for lunch and dinner was nice, the service was great. I noticed in a previous review they received free alcoholic beverages. We were charged for ours, but oh well. There was a wide variety of choices in the meal selection. The room was neat and clean. I had forgotten my toothbrush, but the front desk was more than happy to give me a new one for free, as well as toothpaste, which was very nice. We had a nice view of the pool and the beach. Too bad it was too cold to dip our toes in the water. The only down part was when the guy reserved the room, the offer was to be with a complementary breakfast. When we checked in, the clerk confirmed that we did get a complementary breakfast at the steak and shake. When we went down about 8am, the clerk on duty stated there was no such complementary breakfast, and we were looked at like we had an extra head for even asking. It was a great evening, and a relaxing time.

What a huge disappointment. We stopped here for one night on our way back home to Houston from Destin on 7/16/15. We had our kids and decided to go to the pool. The pool area was filled with drunk people and it was only 5:00 pm. There was a group of about 10 drinking beer inside the pool. And I actually saw the waitress bring them more beer and hand it to them while they were in the pool. The pool was really blurry and dirty so we didn't stay in there long. I'm guessing a lot of drunk ass people piss in it all the time. Also, I almost had to fight a drunk old guy that kept coming to harass my daughter. The non smoking hotel wreaks of cigarette smell. The casino is super small. I paid $194 for one night here but it's not even worth $50 a night. They need security to kick the drunks and creeps out of the pool area. Never again.

Amazing time! I stayed here as a layover while visiting family in the New Orleans area. Friendly, quick and fast check in. Casino floor layout was very cozy. It was not claustrophobic or congested like other casinos throughout the country. Financially, I had a great time with "wins". My brother not so great. The best part of this trip: My complimentary room was upgraded at check in to a suite. Sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Harrah's Gulf Coast. Every single interaction I had with a staff member, from the front desk clerk to the doormen, the dealers, waitresses, pit boss and operator was very positive. They are extremely well trained and courteous, making for a great atmosphere. The casino is very attractive, although a tad on the small side, but it has plenty of different games. The smoke wasn't too bad (and I hate smoke). My room was very comfortable. The only beef I have is the $11.50 charge for Wi-Fi, which should be free as it is most places nowadays. I will definitely return here, however, when I come back to Biloxi.

If you're looking for a great hotel this is not the place for you. They charge you $10 to use their microwaves because they don't have them furnished in the room. Be aware because they charge you for everything. Check your bank statements. They charge a $50 fee for wifi even know you don't use it. Save your money and go to beau ravage

I have to say I've never paid for a room here as I receive comps through Total Rewards, so that might change my review a bit if I were. Nevertheless, I find the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They don't treat me like a second-class citizen because I'm a frugal schoolteacher who will gladly cash in her comps when she has the chance. I really like the pool during the warmer weather, and even though the casino is much smaller than the one back home in New Orleans, the staff is friendly, and the games are good enough for me. I especially like the bartenders at the video poker bar as my husband and I have yet to meet one who acts put out when serving us, and they are always extremely friendly. I really like this place and hope to return again soon.

Having visited numerous times since my first review, I figured it was time to update my review. Harrah's Gulf Coast is the new name for The Grand, and it got more than just a name change... The casino gaming floor got a much needed facelift and the 60's Atlantic City casino vibe I mentioned previously is gone. Now it's more mid-90's... but that's pretty cool in my book. I've been to modern glamorous casinos like The Cosmo in Vegas. They don't do it for me... too polished, too much of the chrome and rich kids feel. I like Harrah's because even though the casino is small, it is comfortable, relaxed, and welcoming. You don't feel out of place if you like to dress comfortably/casual, and the place is small enough the drink waitresses make the rounds quickly and efficiently (tipping well helps, of course). The casino has new carpeting, new ceiling and wall decor, it is bright and even though the casino allows smoking, it is not overwhelming so either the ventilation works great or enough chain smokers have died off over the years that us non-smokers can survive a few hours of gaming. The staff at Harrah's are great. The hosts are friendly and stop to visit when they see you on the gaming floor. They also take a lot of the stress out of planning visits. The Dealers and floor staff are all friendly and accomodating, a big plus especially on days luck is not on your side. Desk clerks, valet, housekeeping all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Since my last review I've stayed in a couple of different types of rooms. The rooms seem fairly up to date, I'm not sure if they were part of the renovation last year or not, but I don't have any complaints. Personally, I hate a hard, new mattress so the soft mattresses and feather pillows are a great way to unwind from a day of gambling. I'm not sure what's going on with room service... they may be in the middle of changing menus but the last couple of stays there has been no room service menu in the room, nor a channel/hotel station on TV to assist with room service. As for the bathrooms, nicely tiled and spacious while some of the suites have large spacious jacuzzis and giant walk in two-shower-head showers. My only complaints on the rooms is the carpeting could use replacing... not that they aren't clean, but there is a lot of staining. Some staining in the halls and room carpets are understandable, but even if stained, the carpets all seem clean. One nice feature in the rooms is a bedside outlet/USB charging station. A nice modern touch so I don't have to fumble with my own wires and connectors to charge my iphone or kindle! As for food, I've previously rated Steak & Shake, but I've since tried the buffet Flavors, the bar food and drinks at Mix & Mingle, and the steak and seafood at Magnolia Steakhouse. The buffet was well stocked with a good selection of different dishes. The carving station sliced nice thick cuts of beef, ham, and turkey. Everything I tried was flavorful... though some of the dishes had been sitting for a while and were more warm than hot. Still, I chalk that up to the late dining time I chose as there didn't seem like much of a crowd in the buffet. It's definitely been packed at other times and I'm sure the faster food turnover would mean hotter/fresher fare. Mix & Mingle was great for a quick drink and some tasty, greasy bar grub. I tried a jalapeno burger that came with fried jalapeno slices, a fried egg, hot sauce aeoli, and pepper jack cheese. My mouth was on fire but it was great. Magnolia is excellent too. The filet has been cooked perfectly each time, and is so tender and. Fresh local seafood on the menu, a great selection of apps and desserts. Definitely try it when you stay!

Dinner at the buffet. It was meh but the plus was that dinner came with 2 free alcoholic drinks per person, which was a surprise. Came back the next day for a spa manicure for me and my sister in law, which I felt at $65 each was really overpriced. The tech only put 2 coats of nail polish on. Later when I was out in daylight I realized that the it was too light and see through and could have really used a third layer. I rarely splurge for manicures so to spend that much and not have enough coverage was disappointing. Staff were very nice though, and I enjoyed being offered hot tea and sitting in the lounge afterwards to relax with towels wrapped around our shoulders. On the plus side, I came out even at the slots.

Great value for the price. Yes, its not the most modern hotel but everything is clean. We ate the lunch buffet which was one of the best I've had. I was very pleased with the service & food there. I'm from south Louisiana so I love seasoned food & I wasn't disappointed. Casino slots are very tight. Didn't enjoy that but it's gambling!! I will be back maybe with my pet next time as they are pet friendly!!

The hotel is very nice with amazing views and awesome personnel for the price we paid for the week. The only downside is the water, it's very hard water seems to leave a film after you shower. Not sure if it's just the local water or whatnot. Rooms are very nice for what you pay. The casino is SMALL! But very nice and you have all the games you need. The staff is always fun and helpful at the tables, gives more fun to the already winning craps experience. The casino is very well ventilated, as a non-smoker I couldn't even tell it was a smoking floor. Pool is beautiful. The beach is right across the street.

The casino is sooo small. At night they also have a 20 minute rule after each shot at the tables. Besides that I lost my diamond ear ring while I was sleeping and called after I was in the car. After maybe 5 minutes they called back saying that nothing was found. I'm not sure they even looked for it or what happened but that's such a bummer.

Tons of hidden fees. Very unhelpful staff. Does not deserve to be called a "resort" ruined my two year anniversary!! Won't be back! Stay away from this place!

Stayed here overnight on our road trip right before Christmas during off-peak so we got a great deal! Patty at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating! We were able to get a large room non-smoking with a very comfortable, king sized bed. We went to the non-smoking Palace Resort for their buffet, so I don't know how the food is at this hotel. I would stay at Harrah's again depending on the rate available.

A few tips for the traveler. 1. If your drivers license is set to expire, by all means make sure you have a new one before going. My not having my printed out piece of paper with my renewal ( even though it was renewed) almost barred me from the casino entirely and led to some difficult conversations with a lot of people. Luckily it was remedied. It did leave me with a bad taste in my mouth since the strategy was to assume the worst about me till proven wrong, versus the other way around. ( Although I get where they were coming from.) 2. The bartender in the lobby bar makes an awesome Hot Toddy if you ask. 3. The buffet ( especially if you are gluten free) was not the best. Most of the food was bland, and all of it had wheat in it. Special props to francoise, the chef in the asian food section, who made me a stir fry with nothing on it ( the best thing I ate all week.) 4. The casino is calmer and quieter then most, but recommended if you want a much more chill experience. 5. The smoke in the casino.. Ack.

Worst hotel ever! Housekeeping stole my medication that I was using for a broken ankle. Security took all my info and said they would interrogate the staff but it won't prove that they took it. What the hell? No one else was in my room but housekeeping! So I called the cops and theysaid they will file a report but won't allow me to press charges since I didn't see it happen. Just stay somewhere else were the staff is held accountable for their actions. And ALWAYS USE THE SAFE FOR MEDICATIONS AS WELL AS MONEY AND JEWELERY! I will never stay at a Harrahs chain ever again because of this!

Our holiday plans got changed due to the weather so we had to hotel it. If you have a dog you are treated as a second class citizen. Also Harrahs advertised a king being available, which carries a higher nightly rate then when we brought it up to them they said there is no difference but Hotels.com says if they advertise for that room (king) the hotel is supposed to give you it. So We reserved a room with a king size bed and without being notified by hotel staff when we entered our room there 2 doubles. We called Hotels.com and they were able to credit back $22 difference (that we paid for king room) to us and provided excellent customer service. Though the Harrahs Manager offered a number for a local kennel and if we went that route she would accommodate us. Total insult! The Manager was not receptive and provided no customer service. Help us feel comfortable in your hotel but the Manager, Christina continued to throw policy in our face and could not could not grasp the concept of customer service! Would not recommend to stay. Totally disappointed in southern hospitality (which they claim to have at this hotel).

Nice casino and hotel got great comps. It is a smoking hotel yet does not smell like it. The staff is nice and so far I have been really pleased. The buffet is reasonable. Don't have much if any to complain about. Wish it was a better view but I can't really complain about that. They allowed for early check in no problem.

We stayed on a Sunday, checked out on Tuesday. Our room was comped except the resort fee which basically covered our wifi cost. Brought our 2 pups with us and stayed on the pet friendly floor, which is the 2nd floor. It was great! Very clean bc they do shampoo the rugs daily. Hence no late check out and thus the $50 charge per night for the pets. We requested a crate thru housekeeping, which also came with organic treats and food/water bowls. We arrived a little after noon so they did request a room clean rush, which got us checked in by 2pm versus 4pm. Good dog walking area. Just go straight down to the garage floor from your room elevators. Swing a right when you get out and there's a dog area a short block ahead. Since nobody was around I let the pups off the leash to run wild. The pool was nice and clean. It had a nice view of the beach. We rented a cabana for the half day. It's a great deal bc whatever drinks or food you ordered is deducted from the cabana rental cost. Slots were terrible here, minus the one star and our only complaint. Didn't dine at the buffet but the pool food wasn't bad. Def plan on coming back.

The Harrahs gulf coast is one of the worst hotels ive EVER stayed in... The machines are the worst you put in $20-$40-$60-$80 Gone!! You cannot get an upgrade from the parking lot/ocean view on a Monday!! The rooms are sub-standard and they have a very odd smell... Like their trying to cover up years of smoking in them n you offer to pay for an upgrade and are told sorry hows that possible on a Monday? I feel like I've stepped into the bayou and into southern hell!! Hows the salon closed on a Tuesday? I broke a nail into the owie quick and called the salon only to be told sorry not open tomorrow!!! We wont be back EVER!!! Dont think your going to a normal Harrahs

Good thing this room was comped because my one night stay was AWFUL. First, old food in the mini fridge and still old shampoo in the shower. I doubt this room was even cleaned. The hot water takes nearly 15 minutes to get hot -- I learned this the hard way. The walls are paper thin, so at 2 in the morning I had to listen to the guy in the room next to us who had a but too much to drink throw up for nearly an hour. And, to top it all off, housekeeping starts "cleaning" early, around 8 am. I put the word cleaning in quotations because mostly they were just in the halls being very loud talking to each other. No respect for guests. So yes, I guess as a free room it was alright but don't pay a dollar more than free to stay here. Ever.

Very nice casino across the highway from the beach in Biloxi. The property is clean and well kept. Employees here are friendly and they have a nice selection of slot machines and table games. While we were here, a colleague hit a jackpot of $330 on a penny slot machine. That's pretty good for pennies! We didn't stay here, so I can't comment on the rooms. Return Factor - 80%

Renovations are currently being done to entire hotel. The cons: #1. They should not charge $300 plus a night for a hotel filled with tons of construction workers, noise and yellow tape. # 2. I cant believe I paid $12 for WiFi, they cant offer that for free? In 2014? The pros: #1 Nice staff, from the coffee house, to housekeeping to the front desk. #2 Comfy beds and pillows.

Before our stay at Harrahs gulf coast/biloxi i called to make sure that there would be a refrigerator in our room.... Upon our arrival there was not. It took several hours and phone calls with several Harrahs employees to basically tell us that they wanted to charge a $10 per day fee for the use of the frig... We didn't feel that we should have to pay it since we were told we'd have it! Also.... When talking with one of the many "customer service" agents.... We found out that the agent whom I had talked to before our trip (the phone number on the Harrahs website) was someone located in another country!!! Anyway... Like i said.. After many hours.. we did get the frig. Also the bellman were extremely rude and after having words with my husband.... They never delivered our luggage to our room.... An hour later and several phone calls later... The front desk lady delivered it! I'm sure the bellman just refused to deliver to us! The casino is extremely small!! Omg!! It is a joke!! No one was there... Very few guest... I'm sure because it is so small. And as far as I could tell... There was no winning going on!!! The place was supposed to be refurbished/revamped?? What a joke. Needless to say... We stayed the four nights we had booked but we played and ate at other nearby casinos and restaurants that were second to none! That being said ..I highly recommend "Half shell oyster House"... Definitely 5 star in my book!

Nothing great about this hotel except that they enforce the no-kids-in-the-pool-after-8pm rule. The rooms are adequate and clean. Pillows are very good, some type of memory foam, and they were comfortable. Buffet is not very good at all. Everything is either overcooked or strangely seasoned. The ice cream was good. :) The casino is dated with machines taken from an old warehouse or something. That room is generally filthy though there are staff cleaning ashtrays and empty glasses (sometimes). Overall, not where I would stay again and wish I'd known better before I went. I agree with other reviewers about the Internet service $12 fee. Just ridiculous!

I guess censors is in more trouble than anyone thought . Now you get hassled if you play poker to slow at the bar. It appears that a two dollar drink will put them into bankruptcy.

Had a great time!! Me and my husband went for a couple days to get away and everyone was so helpful and friendly!! Really enjoyed the pool rented a cabana for two days that is the way to go!!! Our server by the pool was awesome her name was Haley she told us we could eat dinner from the Steakhouse at the pool it was wonderful!! It might not be as fancy or new as The Gold Nugget but the service makes up the difference! We will be coming back every couple weeks! Hope your still there Haley cause we will ask for you!!!

Booked a room months ago using Expedia. Apparently there was issues communicating that I needed a pet friendly room. It was like an act of Congress trying to get that room. Had to have Expedia call them and finally I got a room. The front desk staff did not pretend to be helpful at all. Because of my frustration. I asked for the manager... and I received a "supervisor"... Which is actually the person I initially had an issue with at the front desk. Again I asked for the manager. after multiple requests I finally got the manager. This is not the impeccable service they promised their customers.

Terrible experience in every aspect! First I booked a king bed non smoking online for 2 nights. When we got to our hotel after 10 hours of driving the front desk put us in a 2 queen bed room. When we told the front desk that we had booked a king & showed him the reservation he was rude & said we don't guarantee room types. We then asked to upgrade to a suite & that we would pay the difference. The front desk man called the suite manager & asked if they had a suite for a non club member. Really? This was our first time in biloxi & why would it matter if we were a club member or not if we said we'd pay for the upgrade? We left & I called the manager from my car & she moved us rooms to a king bed on a lower floor & not a good view. Then she told me she moved someone else's reservations & inconvenienced that person so I could have a king bed. Really.... A manager trying to make it ok that their front desk person was rude & make me feel bad because they had to move someone out of a king bed when I originally booked that & had a confirmation that stated that. We then checked in & when to the lobby bar to get a drink & something to eat because we got in late. It took 10 minutes for anyone to even say hi then 10 minutes later they came to get our order. It then took then 7 more minutes to bring me my drink. They didn't bring my friends drink until 10 minutes later & our food 5 minutes after that. I was irritated at this point. Terrible service all the way around!! The room looked like a standard older hotel room. We did discover the next day we had mold all over on the shower curtain! Gross!!! I will never stay at this place again!

All the staff we encountered were delightful, from check-in, to dining, to housekeeping. But! charging for wi-fi stinks, and your accounting systems also stinks. Placing multiple holds on a credit card because you can't figure out how to charge the guest is criminal. My stay was barely $200, your accounting department charged almost $600 in duplicate holds. A good reason not to return.

Kids have taken over. Casinos are not a destination for family vacations. Take them to theme parks or water parks, let kids be kids. Playing in the hallway, jumping off and on elevators, crying in the casino bathrooms and jumping off the beds and screaming is not what I came to hear. In time, that young 10 year old boy playing on the elevators will become a victim. What happened to responsible parents putting their children first. I won't be back.

Everything is ok here. There are some highs and some lows. The pool and pool staff are awesome. We had a great day in our cabana. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. It could have been cleaner, but nothing major was dirty. The buffet was dated, and the dishes were hit and miss. Some were fantastic and some were inedible. Our waitress was very sweet. The front desk staff could have been nicer, but nothing horrible. The valet was slow, but curteous. All in all it was just okay.

Stayed here three nights. Recommended. Lots of parking. The rooms were very clean, and quiet. Small TV in the room with only like 15 channels? Wifi was NOT free. Staff was very friendly. The cafe in the lobby is open 24/7- highly recommend the small cafe area in the lobby with the bar. It is reasonably priced $10-$15 but amazing. We had the special and the pasta dish. The pasta dish was amazing!!! Happy hour left us with $2 domestic beer which was pretty cheap (not as cheap as free in the casino) Casino- I like that they ID you once you walk in that way you don't have to have your ID checked at every gambling table. Drink service was slow. Staff was very friendly in the casino as well, and a pleasure to gamble with. The gym is good size and free to use. Every cardio machine has a TV which was nice. Although they do not have towels available when the spa is closed (the entrance shares with the spa entrance). Did not use the spa but having walked by it twice, everyone was always smiling. The gym has free weights up to 50lbs. All resistance machines. The pool was very large. It says after 8pm it's 21 and up, not sure why. We hung out at the pool after lunch for a little break before gambling again. Never busy. You have to get towels from the front desk which is a little annoying if the check-in line is long. I always just walked up and asked, but got some dirty looks. Lots of outdoor seating. The hot tub is huge, can probably fit like 30 people. The pool over looks the water which is nice. Very clean. The pool is located right off the lobby which is a little weird when leaving the pool wrapped in a towel while passing the line of people checking in. Hotel has four elevators so you are never waiting more than a minute.

I arrived here after almost 10 hrs of driving, only to find that my online reservation somehow didn't go through. (Not their fault.) But when I told them I was able to get the amazing rate of $37, they told me that the rate is now $72...only an hour later! They were not willing to honor the online rate. They charge for wifi, as well. So I immediately left, and booked a room at the nearby IP Casino and Hotel....best thing that could've happened! For $65, I'm sittin' pretty in an immaculate suite in a lovely, updated hotel....writing this review from my FREE wifi. Booooo-ya! ;)

Free birthday buffet! Great prime rib and smashed taters. Crab legs are good. Wait staff was very good and took good care of all 11 of us.

Stayed here because the discounted room rate through total rewards. It was okay fir the price paid. The renovations were bothersome and loud. The casino is small and really smelled of smoke. The slots were being moved around so it felt crowded with all the work being done. Craps table was $5 limit which is nice to see. The staff was very friendly in the casino and restaurants. The staff at front desk of the hotel was not very friendly and didn't offer any extra information. There was not the typical information book in the room sowing the what the hotel/casino has to offer. This is a good jumping off place to visit the area and once the renovations are done it may help.

This Hotel was nice and I was so happy with the rate I recieved. The bed was great. The casino is smaller than I anticipated. My friends and I played lots of money with no success.

Nice hotel stay. It's the only hotel which has a pool and jacuzzi during winter months. The spa was great. You'd better get to your appt. on time however because they bite into your time. There is no grace period so my 25 minute massage was reduced to 15 which was a total bummer. Other than that we had a great time.1

We stayed at their hotel last night. Nice big room, very clean & nicely decorated. We booked thru Expedia & weren't guaranteed the non-smoking king we'd booked but we got it. We ate at the buffet and they offer military discount! Great food too. Played penny slots for a bit, great entertainment for little cash. All in all a great evening and night. Will return.

Not up to par with the Hard Rock and Beau and charging $12 per day per device for WiFi is pretty much all you need to know. If a business is going to gouge you for WiFi than chances are they're gonna try and stick it to you elsewhere too. Sad

Unimpressed, Cost more than the IP and definitely not worth it! Hotel is staffed fairly well and can accommodate people but the casino itself is terrible the pool furniture is completely worn out, Compared to other hotels there it's very old and shabby, During my first day at lunch there were flies flying all over the people's food, In comparison to the other casinos however the hotel was staffed better so you did receive better service as far as valet front desk and bellhops. The room had stains in the carpet and gross stains on the blanket they charged 11.50 per day for Internet service and Charge $15 at 1:30 to check in early or wait until 3 o'clock. We visited the beau rivage the hard rock and the IP during our visit and wish we had stayed at one of those!

Hands down worst Harrahs property ever! I call it the Biloxi nursing home and I'm a 7 Stars player. It's like you have to be 65 to play and stay here. No food available after 10pm unless you want sandwich and chips from one of the RUDE workers at the premade sandwich deli.

My favorite overall casino/hotel. The rooms are an amazing value. Very comfortable beds. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The casino is great. Best dealers in town who like to interact with the players along with giving great by the book advice. The floor has good music. Sometimes a live band. It's not too loud but keeps the excitement going. Plenty of tables and games to play. Only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is in the hotel they charge extra for wifi. Also, on the casino floor I have never seen a manager or pit boss give out a comp, even after loosing large chunks of money in minutes. These are two things top establishments do that keeps The Grand from reaching that level

Lovely Hotel and Casino..Staff was super nice, let us check in like 3 hours early. Clean Rooms, Free parking, my only complaint is that in this day and age, they still allow smoking in Casinos...uggggghhhh Smoke was horrible. Had a blast will be back.

We stayed here the last night of our honeymoon. We were very happy with the room especially for the price we got. Bed was big and comfy! The casino was OK. We didn't play much here and choose to go to another casino instead that we enjoyed earlier. We had the buffet for dinner and it was good for the price. We would stay here again.

I love the Grand. The hotel rooms are average really. Ive stayed in 4 and theyve all been different so I dont know if Ive had the top of the line or not but they've all been nice. In the summer, the pool, poolside live music, and poolside bar is all great. Had some good times catching rays and consuming copius amounts of cheap booze. The Diamond lounge is one of the best. But above all, the spa experience is the better than anywhere Ive stayed, even Vegas. Steam room, hot tubs, sauna, showers, massages, all the best treatment. It may not compare to Beau Rivage in some opinions, but considering how total rewards treats its players and you can use points to pay some small asian lady to walk up and down your spine, its definitly a resort I will continue to frequent. Splurge on the spa treatment will ya, you only live once. Average gaming floor. Not real impressed with game variety but its a great place to stay.

I stayed here on my way to New Orleans for one night. Hotel: Parking was easy and valet was free. Shirley at the front desk was friendly - easy check in and check out. Nothing fancy...clean and service was good. We had a nice room with a view of the gulf. Room was only $77 with tax. Buffet was decent. Actually it was better that I expected. John was a good server. Casino: It has it typical slots (I won!) and table games. No poker room and not the biggest. I'd stay here again...you just have to remember it is not Vegas...it is Biloxi...

Our hotel room was large, clean, and nice. On the other hand the casino and buffet are far from grand. I was so annoyed by the casino and food most of eating and gambling was done at the hard rock. 3 stars for the hotel 1 for casino 1 for food 1 for entertainment 1 bar

Nice hotel. The room was nice and clean. They have a nice size flat screen with a bunch of channels. Check in was easy, although I had reserved a different room and they couldn't provide it. I still had a nice room. I had dinner at the buffet, it was ok. Better than most with a large selection. The casino is terrible. Granted I was here during mid-week, but to have 4 tables open total was a little bit disappointing. They have a TON of slots, including penny slots, so if you're in to those, this is your place. If you want to play table games, go elsewhere. The pool is terrific. Lots of space and lots of kids.

The heated pool is great for kids, and the friendly, well-stocked pool bar is great for the parents. All of the staff were very nice. However, the maids did not come and change the linens. They just emptied the trash and gave us extra towels. Nice to stay for a few nights and lounge by the pool.

Not a fan. My wife and I spent a romantic weekend in Biloxi and decided to stay at the Grand instead of the Beau Rivage where we've stayed before. It was not up to par. We were on a Romantic Couples package where they comp the rooms and give you a day in the spa. We enjoyed the time but it could have been better. The actual people performing the services in the spa were very good, very friendly. The "support" people though delighted in explaining the rules over and over (usually in an effort to save themselves work) and bored us to tears with reviewing the bills and complaining about billing software and procedures ... just what I wanted to do at a relaxing spa day. The casino was just ok, too. Too few tables, too much smoke, alot of older players. The place is past its heyday and is really just waiting for Margaritaville to open. It has the stink of temporariness all around it. Skip the Buffet! We tried it because we were famished and it was late in the day. We should have eaten out of the vending machines!

WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE! How I wish I could have heard those words as I sat at the slot machines at Grand Biloxi. Alas, the Wheel Of Fortune slots proved to be little more than a "Bankrupt". But more on the casino in a moment. We stayed at the Grand Biloxi on a recent trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The check-in was quick- I only had to wait a few minutes. The room was inviting- clean with a flat screen TV, a very comfortable bed, a safe, and a spacious bathroom. We had a view of the parking garage, but could see Biloxi Back Bay from our room, so it wasn't all bad. I didn't come to Mississippi for breathtaking views. The pool and hot tub were clean and spacious. The server at the pool was beyond friendly and answered our questions about other things to do in the area. We used the valet for our vehicle, and never had to wait more than five minutes. The casino was not as nice as, say, the Beau Rivage, but it was adequate. The drink service was good, and they had a decent variety of slot machines. I generally don't rate casinos on the "looseness" of the slot machines as I have always believed it boils down to the machine at which you sit down. We only ate at the cafe, we never had a full-fledged meal, so I can't rate the restaurants. But I would definitely stay at the Grand on my next trip to Biloxi.

This is an OK place Nothing real Special for a Harrahs property the Rooms are nice but allot of them are Non Smoking Rooms that were Smoking Rooms not to long ago so they Smell like a Old Used Ashtray Still Fabreze will not Take 10 Years of Old Smoke away you need to Replace Everything and Paint ,Due to the Smell of the first room we spent a Night in a Suite nice but Lacked 1 Major or Minor thing for me the Shower was a 2 Head with the Cheapest Shower Heads you could get the room we finally for was clean and did not smell of Smoke ,the lounge was OK too Britte for my taste but that did not Distract the business Transaction between a Military Man and a Professional Lady;-O in the open it was only obvious to me because they were at the table next to me and I could over hear them

3.5 stars:-)!! A very comfortable casino with great lighting, the Grand Casino has a very good mixture of different types of slots to play. I found the staff at the Total Rewards Center to be "extremely" friendly and helpful and that alone with ensure I will return here to "gamble the night away!" I did not have an opportunity to sample the dining options or to see what amenities their rooms offer, but who knows, next time I am in Biloxi, I may stay here.
