I ate here for lunch today. There was no special lunch menue, it was the same as dinner. My friend and I each ordered fettuccine alfredo. The garlic bread is great. The salad was amazing, and the entree was good too. I would strongly recommended this restaurant for itialian food in warrensburg. Nothing to travel for, but not too shabby.

It's hard to rate this restaurant due to circumstances. We had a large wedding party of probably a little more than 20 people. Our waitress seemed to be overwhelmed. When asked what the soup of the day was she didn't know, which could happen but she never found out for us. She asked if we were ready to order & then disappeared. Our bride to be finally got up & said something since no one had gotten re-fills of water or bread. Several staff members came to help her. She took our orders however when the food came out none of the staff knew which plate was who's. It became a little hectic. Understandably not all 20+ plates are going to be done at the same time but there was a significant difference between the first few plates & the last. Many guests had time to finish their food long before the last 3 plates came out. Sadly it was our bride to be & the only 2 kids that were last to be served & they should have not been the last. On top of the food being so random one plate that was lamb came out raw & was sent back to the kitchen. Towards the end of service our waitress switch, the new waitress was a lot friendlier & incredibly more efficient. When asked where the other lady went, she said that waitress was now helping cook. As far as the restaurant itself, our shoes stuck to the floor in several spots & in the women's bathroom the stall door had completely fallen off. We told a waiter but nothing was done while we were there. It's very possible we just went on an off night. And I realize the size of our party isn't easy. However as a successful restaurant you have to be prepared for anything from large parties, allergies, and picky customers. I would give this restaurant another try just to see if it was a fluke since the food was good but we live nowhere close so that most likely won't happen

I didn't think it was possible to do Italian food realistically in Warrensburg but it's been done. The menu is simple and not complicated. Very nice to see. My waitress was very professional and took the time to talk. You don't get that anymore. She explained specials and was knowledgeable of the menu. I had a mojito - Italian style which was perfect, little sour and sweet. Mussels italiano which was perfect, fresh lemon had a nice acidity which you need. Also the mussels looked cleaned... touche! No one seems to clean their mussels anymore which is a big deal. I also had the salami, garlic, sausage and olive pizza.. the pizza crust was perfect with a nice crunch and chewyness. Salami and garlic they put on top really set it off. Definitely will be back.

Great Italian atmosphere. The bread and dipping sauce was outstanding. It was olive oil, garlic and tomatoes I ordered a chicken pomodoro. It was good. My wife ordered chicken parmasean. Also good, but it could have used more sauce. The waiter did bring extra sauce but it was different. Waiter was kind and professional. Cheese cake was excellent.

Bread is delicious. Environment is very Italian. Manicotti tasted like it was frozen before and too greasy.

For the middle of Missouri this place is a real diamond in the rough! First of all the waitresses are sweet and attentive. The homemade hot bread appetizers with a homemade dipping oil is to die for. The food was really good, it wasn't overly flamboyant like olive garden and had a more homemade appeal to it. It feel like an old-fashioned Italian family restaurant. It is now one of my wife and my favorites. We are definitely going back soon.

We had the best meal here tonight. The bread and dipping sauce was wonderful. I ordered the shrimp diablo, extra spicy and it was amazing. We can't wait to go back. Last of all, it was reasonably priced!

My coworkers were all excited about this restaurant so I decided to take my family there for dinner. The bread is amazing but the actual entries weren't that great. Maybe it was our unlucky night but the pasta was overcooked and my daughters spaghetti was actually slightly burnt. Will give it a try again in a few months to see if things changed.

Brought a big group here after my bro-in-laws graduation. Service was great! Bread was amazing! House wine was actually quite good! I'm only giving it 4 stars because my chicken in my fettuccine Alfredo was very bland. My husband said his chicken Parmesan was good but also a bit bland. Their marinara is super tasty, my salad was great, and our appetizers were good! They also got seating for 10 of us very quickly! All in all, I would recommend this place!

My hats off to the cook. The best marinara sauce I've ever tasted. The bread brought out was delicious with an olive oil drizzle. Very good. I can also say that the pizza was delicious. Everything from the kitchen was homemade and outstanding. Good atmosphere for family dining and dating. Very romantic, pleasant atmosphere. However, some of the staff seemed unsure of their duties. I think it was a lot of new staff. We waited for some time to get our drinks and also had to ask for a bread basket after seeing some other tables receive it. The waiter did make it up to us when we told him we were honoring a request for a pizza birthday dinner and brought out a delicious cheesecake that the birthday boy got to choose from the dessert cooler. It was a good experience and would definitely go back as the prices were outstanding.

Wonderful good, lovely setting. The service is a little uneven.Nice people, but seem to be unsure of what's going on.Do we pay the server? Do we pay at the table? People were doing both, the server said we could do whatever. Just a thought, it makes amuch nicer dining experience not to wait in a line to pay.Just teach your servers to pick it up at the table, especially at dinner. We've eaten there twice, lunch and dinner. The good was excellent both times, and hopefully the service will keep improving!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
