I love it! Crusty as hell service. Makes me feel like I'm in New York. I once entered at around 1:30 pm and the first thing I heard was "We have ONE PATTY LEFT!!!!" I said, "I'll take it then!" this biz is another great, funky Springfield staple. Closed after 2 pm on weekdays, and closed on weekends. But the food is really good, the place is reminiscent of an old diner, or a trailer, or somewhere in between. You will get rude service, believe all the reviews. BUT, it is good food. Much better than some of the other gross places Springtown, MO has to offer for comfort food! go crusty!!!

Great steak burger! but limited menu... On the menu itself its states their sales have decreased by 25% faulting the new Jordan valley park... This should only increase sales, with the right marketing. Open 11-2, cash only, and a lack of enthusiasm by staff and ownership is disappointing. Go for a great burger, not the staff or the atmosphere

Times Eaten-1 Anybody claiming to want to "eat where the local's eat", this is your place. Its right off of downtown at Kimbrough and Trafficway, adjacent to the Shrine Mosque, and next door to STD Flea Market Central. The place defines the old school "Drive-In", offering the staples: single, double, triple steak burgers, milkshakes, onion rings, and floats. They offer some basket combinations of fries, burgers, and a "salad" (which is literally just lettuce in a 8 oz. bowl). Don't be afraid to order the double steak, as the single burgers are pretty thin. They charge an extra $1.40 for bacon, which in my opinion is not worth it. These burgers are meant to be kept simple, but delicious. Its staffed by a team of older ladies that wait on you and call you "honey" and "sugar". It seemed like everyone (except us) were repeats that they knew by name. Basically, this is the place that Steak & Shake has been trying to imitate. Some important things you need to know: They only take cash, the place seats MAYBE 30 people, and they are only open from 10:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. You can order out, take the drive through, or eat in.

Their steak burgers are delicious! Very thin patties so you might want a double!! The downside is they are only open 11-2 Mon thru Fri and they only take cash. Their menu has a story about the history of the drive-in which is still in its original location since 1947. The current owners have had it since 1978 and state that their business has declined drastically. In my opinion they need to be open a few hours longer during the day and be open on Saturday as there is a lot going on in this area.

The food was good. The place was populated with regulars. The environment was chill so don't go if you are in a rush. Our waitress was a kind sweet older lady.

I wanted to laugh my ass off the second I stepped into this Burger Joint. It was screaming "Merkaa" with that George Bush poster, and the building wrapped in an American flag, sorry I meant 'Merkian flag. Their slogan is "old fashioned burger" but I didn't know that the entire restaurant was old fashioned lol. They are so old fashioned they only accept cash! Even the customers are old balls white people (obviously conservative). I think I am the darkest person to have ever walked into this restaurant and I am just beige. But with all that aside the burgers are actually decent. I don't get the idea of having a beef patty twice the surface area of the bun, but it is good. The burgers and fries they make are sure as hell old fashioned. It has a good old authentic burger smell that you rarely come across. Anyone with experience in burgers would understand what I am talking about. So food is good, but as a restaurant not so much. Something about its spirit is not that comforting. I would recommend trying it out to go, not to dine in. Unless you're really into George Bush poster LMAO!!!

Ok food. Not the cleanest place I have eaten. When I sat down an older lady came by & slammed a water down on th table & never said anything. The Double Burger with cheese was good, the fries not so good. The "salad" is just a small amount of lettuce in a bowl...not very good. I am glad I tried it, but doubt I will ever be back.
