I have frequented this sweet shop for many years. I've not tried many of the cookies but the bars are fantastic. Turtle is by far my favorite, followed by ooey gooey peanut butter. The raspberry is also delicious. The staff can be curt, direct, and no-nonsense, but it is something I've come to love about the place. The other day when I was in there, someone ordered a dessert bar and asked the lady while checking out, "Do you have a count on how many calories are in this?" Her response was priceless. "Come up with a number that you think is high and then add 2 zeros."

Cookies are delicious. I've ordered cookies through Julie's Chewies twice - both times were highly positive and I found myself very impressed with how accommodating the customer service is. First time I didn't get to place an order until around noon and was still able to get same day delivery service for me and my coworkers. Today I placed my second order via phone, got same day delivery to Mercy hospital to a sick friend of mine. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and included a balloon in my delivery for me. Highly recommend and the great cookies are just a bonus on top of the customer service!

Best cookies you can get anywhere! For those that think this place isn't busy just because you were a walk in and no one else was there, you need to understand that walk in business is only small percent of their business. If the next day is a holiday, like secretary's day, they ARE busy.

I had a sweet tooth craving so I strolled in to check the place out. Please note, I did not get to try anything. While I was looking over the selection, a sales man walked in the door. He barely opened his mouth and the counter lady treated him like he had killed her puppy. I thought to myself, wow and to think they treated people with manners and respect out here in middle America. The guy is trying to make a buck like everyone else. All she had to do was say no thank you and he'd be on his way. Like a professional he thanked her and was gone. I just walked out. Who wants to support a miserable bitch. Her excuse was that tomorrow was Secretary Day and they are swamped and cannot be solicited. Ha, there was no one but me and him in the store. I know I'm off on a tirade but you had to be there. Yes it was tough but I bit my tongue as well.
