The Law'te Coffeehouse is one of my favorite places to eat. Everything on the menu is good, especially the delectable baked goods. They have the best lattes in town. The owner and employees are very friendly. The atmosphere is quaint, a great place to get together with a few friends, or do a little studying while enjoying delicious food at affordable prices.

The best boiled shrimp ever! Don't let the price stop you because it's enough for two. Great french fries, sweet potatoes and salad. Everything is great!
By far, hands down, the best steaks around! Consistently good food, overly generous portions, great drinks and always a more than fair price. It's been mentioned before, don't be fooled by the looks of the building... Inside that unassuming store front awaits the best meal in Randolph County. Worth seeking out if you are nearby... and if there's a wait? Grab a drink and stay, you won't regret it. **cash only**
I can't say enough about this place! Don't be fooled by the appearance and size or by the fact that you walk past a sink in the hallway to get to your table. The food is awesome! The rib eye melts in your mouth and Mike is bang on with his temperatures! The portions are huge! Enough for a meal the day after. I always get the surf and turf with the huge Gulf shrimp(12+) on your plate and my husband gets the prime rib. I would put Lula's steak against any high end steak house any day!

Great find! $8 for an all you can eat adult buffet. Great selection, friendly staff, quality food. We will be back! My son couldn't get enough of the butter shripm. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious. The green beans were FRESH, so fresh there were two girls sitting at a table snapping them while we dined. If you are in the area, stop in.
Everything on the bar tasted fresh, good variety, attentive staff. This place was a nice surprise to find so far from home.
Love their Mongolian Grill. A lot of variety to pick from. Always eat more than I should.

Pizza Works

319 N Morley St
Moberly, 65270
Reviews:
Pizza works makes excellent pizza. I have ordered pizza here for lunch, dinner, and for special events. I usually get it delivered, but they also have a nice sit-in restaurant if you want a change of atmosphere. If you go to the restaurant to eat, they have a buffet so you can grab whatever you want. The buffet includes various pizza choices, desert options like pudding and cinnamon sticks, as well as a full salad bar. My favorite thing to order is the personal pan pizzas. They are small but they really fill you up. We had these many times and it's the perfect size for a kid. They make good Hawaiian pizza too. I rate them much higher than Pizza Hut. The atmosphere is nice, there are a lot of windows so there is nice natural light in the restaurant. They have booths as well as tables. The restaurant has a lot of wood, so it's very brown, but they also have a few plants. I think this is one of the nicer places to eat-in in Moberly. They have arcade games but most of them are broken or really run down. I was playing the Mortal Kombat one by the entrance and it broke while I was playing it. Another eyesore was the huge mountain of chairs they had piled up in the corner of the restaurant. I guess it's nice that they got new chairs, but they apparently had trouble getting rid of the old ones. The bathrooms are decent as well, and I didn't cringe when I went inside. Overall, Pizza works is a great place to order pizza. Their staff changes quite often, but the staff I met were very friendly. You can get the pizza delivered, you can pick it up at the store, or you can eat at the location.

Rick’s Steak House & Grill

2002 Silva Ln
Moberly, 65270
Reviews:
It's difficult to believe that the negative reviews I read on other sites relate to this restaurant. My 89-year-old mother and I had a lovely meal here yesterday, arriving around 6:15 p.m. The host seated us in a "warm" area (no cold air blowing on the table), showed us the menu before we were seated (mentioning a couple of entrees that were not available), and was very knowledgeable about ingredients. Our server was prompt, friendly, not too "clinging". She had several tables to handle, but juggled everything in a nice manner and checked on us three times before we completed our meals. We stuck with the fish entrees on this, our first visit. My mom had the talapia, which came nicely grilled. I had the breaded catfish, just about the best I've ever had, and that includes Porky's and The Junction. We both had the nicely prepared coleslaw and steamed veggies as sides, but there is a nice selection of sides yet to try. The vegetables were not overcooked. Servings were generous all around. No dessert for us, but they looked good. (As did the huge platters of onion rings ordered by our neighboring tables.) Prices: Around $7.99 for our entrees, a bargain when considering the size of the fish fillets and of the sides. Dinner for two: $17.00 + tip. I can see that maybe this building was a Mexican restaurant at one time, is that right? Also, the bar was beginning to fill up when we left at 7:45; there seems to be a nice wine and drinks selection. Over the past few years, we've had some trouble with the food at the nearby Golden Corral (even though other Golden Corrals, such as the ones in Hannibal and Columbia, are usually fine), so it's nice to discover Americana Grill as a go-to when passing through Moberly. Why not 5 stars? Noisy, unbridled children at a nearby table, vacant-looking atmosphere, deferred maintenance on door paint, lobby areas. Also, Rick's might think of a larger Internet presence, as today I could not find a menu online; the mentions seem to be on google and city search sites.
We thought it was a good moderately priced steak dinner. The salad was very basic but the steak and baked potato were very tasty. The service was very good. I would come back...
I have been to Rick's twice. The first time I went I ordered the chicken alfredo which came with Texas toast. We had fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they were really good. When my food came, oh my goodness it was fantastic! I actually ate the entire plate, which is rare because I usually prefer eating smaller portions. My rating is three stars because I realized that the quality of the food is unpredictable because you never know who is cooking day-to-day. The food was so horrible, I could hardly touch it. I ate as much as I could handle because someone else paid for my meal, but it was really hard to stomach. I tried to be polite and took home the rest, but I never finished it. The next day I felt a little sick and I think it may have been the food I ate here. The atmosphere here is okay. It's a little dusty, but it didn't bother me. I liked the skylight when you first walk in. The staff was nice both times I have went. They have peanuts you can snack on while you wait for food and the menu has a lot of choices. They have booth, table, and bar seating. If you sit in the bar you can watch sports on the TV. I would have given this place four stars if I didn't have a really bad experience the last time I went. Honestly, it was so horrible I probably won't eat here again.
