Decent. Hawg Father's, the other bbq place in Macon is superior in food and atmosphere.

I ordered the brisket sandwich and when I got it I thought it was a manwich but when I bit in, it tasted like good brisket and didn't fall all over me. Wow whodathunk of that, no mess same flavor!!! Beans were good as well and I would definitely recommend d this place.

My family and I recently ordered take-out from Raspberry's Bar-BQ in Macon. Not being patrons of this establishment we ordered from their online menu. Wait time for two sandwiches was 30 minutes which wasn't terrible for 6:30 p.m. When i arrived at the restaurant my food was not yet ready so i asked to pay for it so that once it was ready i could be on my way. At the register i noticed that i was being charged more than what their online menu listed for each sandwich. I brought the matter to the attention of the cashier who quickly brought a lady i assume to be the manager. The manager stated that there had not been any changes made to their pricing since the online menu had been uploaded. i checked the menu once again after returning to my vehicle and i was in fact overcharged more than $1 per sandwich. It was very disappointing that the manager did not care enough to look into the situation. I mean $2 is not much money. Although would have expected a little more effort coming from a manager in the service industry...........

The food was pretty good, but not great. I got the pulled pork on Texas toast. The pork had a slightly mushy consistency, but the fries were deliciously seasoned. Service was good. A nice laid back place that I would say is fairly typical for roadside BBQ.

I was driving through the countryside and Yelp steered me very well on this one - Thank you! I got off the freeway and was hungry so stopped in. The service was fast and I had a very nice waitress that politely greeted me. I decided on their half slab with beans and slaw and a sweet tea Tasty as they were I found them lightly seasoned, very meaty and tender. You can add any of the two sauces but I found that was not needed as they stood on their own. Priced less than what I would have expected and would recommend to others.

I had the half-slab of ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and texas toast. The ribs were delicious. The baked beans and coleslaw were supposedly homemade. They were tasty. Service was good.
