Awesome portions of surprisingly good food. The lunch menu CANNOT be beat. As always, General's chicken is top notch!

My husband and I were passing through Kearney, MO tonight and were not expecting to find any noteworthy restaurants. However, after perusing information on YELP, we came across a note on China Wok. I can only say that not only were we pleasantly surprised but we were also happy to note their food was as good as any of the small local restaurants we love in Toronto and San Francisco. Great food, excellent service and overall solid value. Highly recommend.

We get take out for China Wok about once a month. We LOVE the shrimp egg rolls and the crab rangoons. The food is always fresh and hot. They have an eat in area, nothing fancy, food is served in Styrofoam cartons. I drive about 10 miles to get it home and everything is still good.

I can say one of the best Chinese places I ate at in mo, I always get the shrimp and lobster sauce combo, I don't really care too much for imitation lobster but in this dish its so good it doesn't even matter, very friendly owners

I had fried rice and shrimp with lobster sauce for lunch today. First, I wondered why my daughter and I were the only ones sitting in the restaurant for lunch. I'm accustomed to seeing chinese restaurants such as Mama China, slammed during lunch hour. When I got my food, I realized why they were not slammed. I think there were 3 large pieces of shrimp in the shrimp with lobster sauce. The fried rice was interesting. I never ate fried rice that was yellowish. My daughter didn't even want to take home her fried rice. She asked me to throw it away. So, make your way to JJ's down the street. Don't bother with China Wok.

I wouldn't have expected to find great Chinese food in Kearney, Missouri, but here it is! My husband doesn't usually love Chinese food, but he begs for this. We both get wild cravings for it. Their crab rangoons are the best I've had in the KC area. Their serving sizes are fabulous, too. We order one meal each, share them, and have enough left to eat again the next night.

In my travels I do not think that I have come across a worst Chinese restaurant than China Wok. I know it's tacky to say that they use cat meat but that's what I imagine cat taste like. GROSS!!!

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions.
