The food is super reasonable. In fact, for the price, this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. They even let you order off the lunch menu at dinner. My girlfriend just said, "these is the best chicken nachos I ever had". I thought that warranted a review. It may also warrant a breakup, because that is poor grammar.

We will not return to this restaurant! Our service was slow and when food was brought out, it was brought in stages. When our Fajitas were finally brought to the table (15 min after the other food was at the table) it was burned. When we asked for the food to be re-done the server acted inconvienced. We then cancelled the order, not wanting to wait again. When checking out they tried to charge us for food we didn't have. The manager then proceeded to argue with us over the quality of the food. This was by far one of the poorest restaurant experiences that we have ever had.

What a great find. We are driving through from California and were missing the flavors from home. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Really nice and very helpful. I'm not sure we will be back in Hannibal but if we are I know where we will eat.

Food and service are fine. Nothing fancy here just your basic tex mex. Same ownership and menu as Gran Rio on 61.

Just traveling through town on a business trip and found this little hidden gem in an older strip mall. The service was awesome ... quick, friendly, warm, and sincere. Very nice folks on staff for sure. The physical setting is rustic but nice. The food awesome ... 5 stars. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas Supreme, 4 of them compared to the normal 3 in most places. It was really a good amount of food. Add in a side of rice and bean and a doggy bag is a sure thing!!! The chips and salsa rock as well as the margaritas ... Strong and yummy. I stopped at one since I was driving. I say 5 stars, well earned, and well deserved. I'll keep this place in my memory for the next time I pass by.

The cheapest Mexican food I have found. The food is great and the service is speedy. Been eating lunch here all summer and never have had bad service or food

Service was very fast and friendly, prices are very reasonable, food was good, building is rustic strip mall with 2'x4' fluorescent office lighting and in need of some maintenance, also employees young children were playing in the dining area over lunch and got a little noisy from time to time, over all a great value on good food

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
