Very good steak dinner, reasonable price, good service. Down side "whipped spread" with no natural butter available and one of the few places that still allows smoking inside the restaurant with no physical division between sections.

Another USED TO BE GREAT, that's just OK now. It's worth a lunch here for their specials. The salad bar is OK as well, again, nothing special, simply simple. It's worth a visit because of the old ice cream bar. I love an old school place with a bar and booths.

Alright, if you want a pretty darn good steak, this would be the place. Having said that - if you'd like pretty darn good service you'll want to visit some place else. We were here Sunday evening (they stay open till 8) and with only three other couples in the place our service was POOR. Our waitress came by once, never offered us a refill, napkins our anything else for that matter. My steak - a 12 oz ribeye was delish and cooked just the way I like it but hers was over cooked AND ordered the same way, medium rare. Another disappointing experience in NON customer service in the mineral area. Where oh where can a person get a nice dining experience???? Stuck in Mediocre-Ville, JD

A great place to grab a steak, they have a good salad bar, and in my experience they have great and friendly service. One of my favorite places to go in Fredericktown! They have always cooked my steak just the way I like it medium rare with a little garlic pepper on it. I usually get the 8 or 10 oz Top Sirloin with either the baked potato of steak fries. I only get the 8 oz when ordering the salad bar because they have a good choice of items to make a great salad plus if you get all you can eat salad you get soup and dessert.

Visited Fredericktown during the 2102 Christmas season. Originally from Ste. Genevieve,we departed there, drove to Perryville, visited and on to Fredricktown than Farmington and back to Ste.Genevieve.We took time to walk around Fredricktown, in and out of several smaller business's and enjoying the small town atmosphere.We ended up at the Olympic Steak House, enjoyed the salad bar and had some of the best catfish ever! Wonderful selection of HOMEMADE soup, salads and wonderful staff. Good ol' southern style hospitality.Be ready to loosen the belt!! A nice day, good company, a scenic drive on winding roads and beautiful rolling hills. Can't get much better than that. Might do it again the next time I'm in the area.

For a small town restaurant this one has excellent chicken fried steak. Got the senior meal and it was perfect size for lunch. Would definitely stop here again. Service was good and restaurant was old fashioned quaint.

In a town with few choices this is one of the best restaurants! I always get the grilled chicken breast, which always tastes great and is seasoned just right. They also have a great salad bar with lots of selections to make your favorite salad. If you get the all you can eat option there are also great soups and desserts to enjoy. I really like the chicken noodle soup. Just walk in, seat yourself and a waiter will quickly serve you!
