Had the Friday night catfish buffet and it was good. I tried every place in Eminence and this is the only place worth eating at. The servers were friendly and the food is good. All the other eating establishments allow smoking so for me I didn't appreciate that at all. Make sure to get dessert next door at the Dairy Shack!

Just tried their Friday night catfish buffet. I am not usually a fan of catfish buffets but this was the exception. The food was all excellent and they kept the buffet full even though the place was crowded. I will certainly want to try this again!

I wonder how many others feel that restaurants should have some sort of disclaimer as to food they actually cook and prepare vs. previously frozen commercial stuff. (not that the pfcs is always bad).... I was at Ruby's for a quick lunch. I ordered the cod sandwich; description was something like, "we batter the cod then fry to a golden brown perfection"....Ok, the "we" and "batter"... I inferred that the "we" was the establishment, not an automated machine!! Of course, it comes out, a small, overcooked piece of something. I would have been better off with my frozen cod pieces from ALDI!! Really, I think rest's should be required to have an asterisk or something when food is previously frozen. And don't mislead customers with descriptions.

There's not much to choose from when in Eminence so luckily Ruby's was open for business. I was at Ruby's for a quick lunch on a Saturday while passing through the area. The server was a teenage boy who wasn't very attentive and it took one of the locals to get his attention to pay attention to our table. We ordered right away and settled in with talk with the locals as we've grown up coming down to the area for floats among other things. The food was your basic food, it was nice and hot and filled you up. If you want refills, keep on the teenage boy because it took him time to get to us to check up on us too - and there was only one other table of 4 there. I will certainly be back when in the area.

If deep fried shoe leather is your thing--this is your place. If I could do a negative star I would probably do two, considering that this place is in the middle of no where. There were four of us eating, I got the chicken fried steak dinner but the waitress (blonde--seemed to hate her job and everyone around) but got a sandwich instead. Everyone was so dissatisfied that I had to go across the street to get hot sauce. The coffee was the color of tea and tasted like rust water. I asked the waitress if she didn't mind making more , and she rolled her eyes and brought back a cup with coffee grounds---still no taste. Do yourself a favor, go next door.

If it were possible I would give this restaurant 0 stars. The food is prepackaged and prepared at the least amount of effort. The service is the only thing slightly good. I would Not recommend this place to anyone.

Felt like it was about our only option so we ate breakfast here yesterday. We chose the buffet - eggs over-scrambled but, it's a buffet after all. Main problem was getting the waitress' attention. Chocolate milk was barely chocolate - another shot would have been nice. Also ran out of water and had to share. Waitress tells us at check out 'you should have told me'. 'We tried four times to get your attention.' 4 tables at the time we were there.
