Have eaten lunch twice there ..moo goo gai pan tasted boiled and plating was colorless not what I expected from chinese. Veggies were bok choy and a few carrots with thin strips of colorless chicken. Came with white rice...Egg rolls fried too fast leaving outside burned. Service was fast but person behind counter did not understand English so appetizer order never happened. Second trip was for dinner. Once again appetizer order was "foreign" Ordered house specialty Happy family..More color on plate fast service but again very bland..

I loved the food at this clean restaurant. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients. The cooks take pride in their food that they prepare for you and your family. I have never heard of anyone who said didn't like the food or service except for one person onYelp. After being a customer for years I have nothing but good things to say about the food and service.Try it and you will understand why I'm taking my time to do all this texting.

If you want great tasting, fresh cooked, and affordable Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go! I had never heard of China King until yesterday, and I'm so glad it was recommended by a friend. The Owner/Chef who greeted us was nice, friendly and explained the ordering process (you order and pay at the counter, and then either take out your meal or they will bring it to the sitting area for you) I had three kids with me and we ordered the large quart of Sweet and Sour Chicken (with fluffy white rice), the General Tso's Chicken Combo (with chicken fried rice that tasted fresh made), the Crab Rangoon, a veggie dish and an order of 10 dumplings. There was more than enough for myself, a teenage boy, 11 year old twins, and another meal for 2 leftover. The s/s chicken is in small pieces and sauce is separate so the fussy ones can do it themselves. The bill fir all this after taxes was only $26 - We can't eat at any Hardees, BK, DQ or KFC for even close to that. We all left happy and satisfied!

I had the curry shrimp with hot and sour soup and an egg roll. Delicious food and super fast service so it was a perfect quick stop to eat on my 6 hour drive and only feet away from the interstate. Great prices too!

What a surprise! A very tasty Chinese Restaurant in Bethany right off the interstate. I had the hot and sour soup which was okay. I like mine more peppery and with more vinegar, but it was way better than a fast food burger. The meat in the Pepper Beef was tender and flavorful. Again I would have enjoyed additional pepper. The green peppers and other vegetables were cooked exactly right. There were some odd fried wonton strips with sugar for a dessert. The whole meal plus and good iced tea cost me less than $8.00. I will definitely eat here again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
