Dayum! When my family said we were meeting in Wyoming to celebrate my awesome mom's birthday, I started looking for flights. Cowboy hats. And my DVD of Brokeback Mountain. What? Wyoming, Minnesota? Who knew. Or so I thought. Apparently A LOT of people know of Wyoming, MN and of its uber popular, iconic, Cornerstone. This joint was jammin' on a Thursday night. Fortunately we booked a private room ahead of time, cuz that's how we Anoka County Smith's roll...and we had awesome service from hello to good bye. I went with the prime rib...like BUTTAH! Perfection in a Flintsonian slab with au jus, horseradish and sour cream. I shared with no one! Started off with a simple yet crisp and cool salad with....drum roll pahleeze...the BEST blue cheese dressing. Shout out to our awesome server for that suggestion and the outstanding hospitality in general. Mama Jo and family had a most memorable evening on our "trip" to Wyoming. I can see why it was full of happy locals and should most definitely drive in business from surrounding areas. Cornerstone. I am SO in your corner any day of the week.

I've had one amazing experience here and one "blah" experience here. I had steak the first time and the prime the second. I know prime rib can be up or down. This time it was down. Bring it out warmer. And, it if has a massive slab of fat on it. Cut that off! Grain and marbleing is fine, don't bring me a cut with a 1/3 pound of fat hanging off the side!

Poor service. If you don't look yokel enough they ignore you at the bar. I waited 5+ minutes and they studiously ignored me while serving and making small talk with the regulars. I work nearby- we used to go there regularly but got tired of the horrible service and limited selection. Figured I'd give them one more chance and was again disappointed. Drinks are cheaper, selection is better, and service is awesome at the nearby stars and strikes bowling alley, which has a separate bar and surprisingly good appetizers.

Weirdest steak of my life here. I would probably stick to the "bar" food here. Table mates had all you can eat prime rib which they said was good, but I found the sides and stuff offered to be a bit sub-par. Decent enough for limited selection in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way again.

First time today! Only had wings and a beer but service was great. The wings are some of the best I have had and I ordered them naked. The wings are served whole with homemade awesome blue cheese. I am going to make this place one of my new go to places when I go north.

BRING ON THE BEEF !!!! I have been here many times for dinner, and now for lunch with my girls. Our lunch specials of soup/sandwich was just the perfect size, complete with a tremendous burst of flavor. Even though it was lunch hour, we were served quickly. We sat in the bar area, and the other patrons were a mixture of office types and construction types, pretty nice people. As it was the beginning of the holiday weekend, a group of guys on their ginormas bikes pulled in, and there were a couple of collector cars in the lot too. Nice. If you are looking for consistently good PRIME RIB, This Is The Place !! The interior of the dining room looks to me like someone tried to imitate an old time steakhouse with lots and lots of wood. CLean enough too. We usually ordered the prime rib and the walleye, so we could have a surf n turf.. I am pretty sure that in the 10 yrs I have been coming here I have never been disappointed. Maybe once or twice it might have been a little off, but still darn good. And the service has usually been fairly good considering that we are out in the middle of nowheresville. In a nutshell, if you venture out this way, order the PRIME RB, because it is F O R K I N G D E L I C I O U S .............. burp.....

aw the cornerbone. wyoming has a limited selection of entertainment and they could do worse. This place has really good food in the back restaurant area but most of it isnt served in the bar. The "talent" is questionable but it all gives it that kitchy feel.

Stopped in here on a Saturday night. Sat right away and greeted rather quick, then it all went downhill. The service was pretty awful. The food was mediocre, nothing special though at all. We ordered a round of drinks when our food came out, and waited and waited. She finally came back when we were almost done with our meals (literally over 10 minutes later) to tell me they were out of my beer (were also out of both the Summits I wanted) and they couldn't make a strawberry marg on the rocks, it could only be frozen. What?! That makes ZERO sense. It first starts out on the rocks and THEN it's blended! Obviously server and bartender on didn't know what they were doing along with the person responsible for ordering beer and being out of all kinds of it on a Saturday night. We waited another 5 minutes before our drinks came, by then we were completely done eating and ready to leave. Manager stopped by and we told her about the slow service (wasn't all that busy) etc. She didn't have much of an answer on the margarita, and didn't really do anything other than say sorry and walked away. As another person mentioned, they use blue cheese dressing on their blue cheese burger...making for a messy meal. Not all that great at all. Pretty disappointing experience. Nothing about it would make me come back again.

Ordered a Blue Cheese Bacon burger for lunch. That and a grilled cheese somehow took an hour to make. After an hour, my burger had blue cheese dressing instead of blue cheese on it and was WELL WELL WELL done to the point that one bite dried out my mouth. The hot dressing was gag inducing. They also do "Freedom fries," and I guess freedom means "crappy." Also on the menu were "Freedom toast" and a "Monte CRISCO" sandwich. Yes, you can be ignorant and run a bar/restaurant. I suppose the droves of jobless snowmobilers who are drinking shots at noon don't care much about flavor or French-American relations throughout history. Keep driving past this place.

Great home made food! A small town restaurant. Roast beef, meatloaf, chicken, all the usual suspects.
