It's probably the most pub like restaurant I've been to in MN. The food is pretty good, and the staff are always nice. However, my complaint and maybe not yours, but you can't smoke on the patio. "For legal reasons" they say, which doesn't make sense to me since I can smoke on every other patio in the area. It's a non issue in the winter, but in the summer, since I can't smoke indoors, I have a hard time accepting the outdoors also being restricted. I won't be going back. But nonsmokers I'm sure won't mind.

Great neighborhood joint! The atmosphere here is nice and cozy and I love to sip a Finnegan's on the couch next to the fire. The burgers and the Cajun cod and chips are my favorites, the burgers are never overcooked and the cod is tender, moist and flaky. When my daughter Yetzel comes home from her big ten college she always orders the Blarney burger, she tells me that it is "The Bomb dot com" I'm not really up on the jargon these kids use today but I think she is saying that it's yummy. The items I do not recommend are the Nachos, these were like a bolo punch to the solar plexus, I also do not recommend the Boom Boom Shrimp, I've had better shrimp from my grocer's freezer and the texture was like chewing on an old turnbuckle. I recently stopped in after a big grudge match and tried the Bangers & Mash, It was really good and I couldn't stop eating it. I had no intention of eating all of it but I was hungry and I put the one-two- three on it for the win.

Evidence from all the punches in the DMC card, we really like this place. Tonight I got the strawberry chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised ...Considering this is a bar. Lots of toasted pecans, chunks of blu cheese, grilled chicken. Nice change from the huge yummy burgers and deep fried fish.

The cheap plastic tables on the patio could be upgraded but we decided to sit there anyhow because hey we don't get that many months of patio sitting weather round these parts. The beers are a little on the expensive side for what this is. The food I had was delicious. I loved the batter on the onion rings---In fact I'm craving those now so I may have to work out a visit to O'Mally's this week sometimes. We also had a burger and it was decent. Skip the mashed taters they did nothing for me and they don't have any gravy to jack them up. Service was just average.

Fast service, friendly staff, inexpensive, super tasty. I would recommend the Blarney Burger, which is a burger with bacon, cheese, veggies, cheese curds, and a secret recipe siracha sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

Met the family for an afternoon fish and chip dinner. Decent meal, great beer. Fish and chips (I'd say the wife and I are connesours) was good, not great. The tartar sauce and cole slaw were passable. The French fries were a highlight. Service was good. Definitely a neighborhood place. Will drop in again - had a good HH deal.

For being an Irish Pub it didn't feel very Irish to me. It just felt it looked like a generic sports bar with a few clovers on the wall. Went during happy hour and wasn't impressed at all with their special. It was buy one drink get the second for a dollar but you had to get them at the same time or you could get a bigger glass for the same price. I've seen it at bars before but never liked the concept. I don't think they had a kitchen they just had a small grill behind the bar. I think this would be a good candidate for Bar Rescue. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

A nice little neighborhood bar. Suburbia has it's benefits, such as ample parking! You'll find a pretty standard beer list and the burgers are decent. The place was hoppin' during happy hour, our server did a good job giving everyone attention.

Unfortunately, I recently made the mistake of coming to O'Malley's for lunch and not the occasional happy hour with coworkers - a mistake I won't be making again. The food was, well there's really no other way to put it, terrible. My french dip and salad may as well have been prepared in the Sysco truck they arrived in and were anything but fresh - or good. The ambiance is about as charming as can be expected for a fairly cookie cutter Irish bar in a strip mall in suburbia. They at least have a few TV's, tunes and the servers are generally pretty friendly, although usually slow. With all that said, there aren't many places to get a pour of Guinness, Smithwick's or Harp in Woodbury, so O'Malley's at least fills a niche - just not all that well.

We really enjoyed are last visit here. The key is to order whats next to the green Shamrocks on the menu! Philly Steak Sandwich was perfect and the Buffalo Wing Salad [I know weird combo but it works!] Finnigans on tap and you are IN! My Wife loves the Sofas and Fireplace, put your Beer and Food on footstool and Kick Back!

Happy hour consists of buy a beverage get the second beverage for $1. Who hates that? Surprisingly, the bloody mary (if you order it with Absolute Pepar) is one of the better ones that I have had.

Great "bar" with juicy burgers. They have a great HH. Overall the food has been pretty good. I love the scotch eggs. They make proper drinks, service is friendly and on the ball. Being on of the few "BARS" in Woodbury I'm glad its there. So tired of having to go to these big chains all the time.

O'Malley's Irish Pub is my favorite "go to" pub. It is an authentic Irish pub with the Irish beers, spirits, food as well as the ambiance, AND the owners are IRISH! The dark wood accents go perfect with the 4 sided fireplace in the center of the pub with the leather couches for that perfect "date night" place to go or just hanging out spending time with your girlfriends. The bar has very good diverse selections for you to choose from. They have a great happy hour which is all drinks Buy 1, Get One for $1 as well as the appetizers Buy One, Get One for $1. Perfect for that after work Happy Hour. My personal favorite is the Papa Delights which is corned beef & cabbage rolled in a wonton-like roll and deep fried, cut in half lengthwise and drizzled with Thousand Island dressing... YUM... AND on Sundays the "Build your own Bloody Mary" bar is awesome with blue cheese stuffed olives and beef sticks to boot! The atmosphere is very inviting here, makes me feel like I'm hanging out at my friends' place. Give this one a try, you will NOT be disappointed.

Went to this location for the first time a few nights ago around 9PM and let me tell you we will NOT be back. We stood in the doorway for about 10 minutes until I had to go ask someone to seat us. When I went to talk to the waitress standing by the bar she looked at me with disgust like I interrupted her conversation with another employee. Other couples were standing by the door waiting to be seated also. Once we sat ourselves, it took about another ten minutes for the waitress to bring us menus. When we asked what the specials were she laughed at us. We had to flag her down to try and order food. Finally, we got the food to go and decided we will NEVER be back to the location. On the plus side, its a small little pub that was very relaxed and laid back -besides the rude staff.

The first time I went to O'Malley's, I thought that the best part about this bar is the bathroom. But I gave it a chance, and went again. The bathroom was pretty cool and almost uncomfortably too nice for a pub. Then again, this is a bar in a suburb. Not any suburb, this is Woodbury, the mother goose of all suburbs. The food here is just OK, the beer selection is alright, and nothing is really pub-ish about the place. Except the one time there was a flip cup tournament. At least I think that's what it was. If you're looking for a bar in a suburbs, then, I don't know, there's got to be something better out there. But if you run out of options, I guess you can go to O'Malley's. Two stars for the bathroom!

Love! LOVE! The philly cheesesteak is the most authentic in town!! The Pappa O'malleys delight is to DIE for! Yummy corned beef, swiss and kraut wrapped up in a wonton and deep fried! Irish heaven! Yummo!

Very good burger and Pub Fries. Other than that...? Kind of a local type bar in the burbs. Green walls and a few Irish beers is not enough to make this an Irish Pub. Very nice waitress - Debbie. Decent beer selection and sandwiches. Will probably stop again when in the area.

My sister and I stopped here for lunch. Great service. Very clean. Clean restroom. Food was good, but the turkey in their sandwich was processed. Great beer selection. I would return without hesitation.

I've been here for lunch and after work drinks a few times, and I have to say, "meh." I love greasy pub food, I really do - but there is a way to do it so it comes out amazing, and way to do it so it comes out like any old greasy pub food. This is the latter. It may be the suburban factor, there isn't much competition for a local style pub, so little competition (unlike Minneapolis and St. Paul proper) that results in just average, or it may be that I've just been to too many truly awesome 'locals,' but I just can't come to love it. As a nice positive, the prices are pretty reasonable, and at least a few weekdays they have a 2 for 1 taps happy hour, which is pretty nice, and they do have some proper beers such as Guinness and Smithwick's on tap that are included in the special.

Quite possibly the most dreadful food in all of Woodbury. The only thing I actually enjoyed was a playful twist on traditional eggrolls which were made with corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese wrapped and deep fried in a delicious wonton skin. The shepherds pie was obviously frozen and Im not even sure the meat in it was butchered within the same year. Its a damned good thing they have such a great selection of lagers, youre gonna need it to attempt to down their food.

This is the quintessential suburban bar. It's very clean and they have couches, sort of like a coffee shop. Dive bars are more my thing so O'Malley's isn't really my scene (it's in a strip mall next to a Panera) but it's a 'burb bar, so I get it. Try the fried zucchini with your Guinness. Crrraaazy times! Or not, but it's something to do that's not sitting on the couch in your townhouse.

Irish pub with less emphasis on Irish then on pub ,malt vinegar and Guinness were the only signs of it being Irish the menus consisted of burgers that are good and sandwiches but not a whole lot of Irish food a bit of a disappointment for me but still a nice enough place

The service has always been the main draw for my husband and I, but the food is great and the happy hour is a really good deal. In the winter the fireplace and couches are cozy and the patio is nice in summer.

This is the standard 'burb bar that would like to mimic the dive/old watering hole bar in the metro. Friendly bartenders, but it seems the waitresses need to be reminded that they're supposed to wait on tables and not gossip with their visiting friends.
