I've ordered from this location several times. When it's busy things can get awful. Twice I've been hung up on by employees when calling to place my order. The pizza (assuming you get through) is good if you like Midwest style thin crust. Considering there are two other--better--pizza places in the same shopping center (pino's, Angelina's) why bother risking an undercooked pie or a rude employee?

Attempted to dine in at this location- very poor service. We were seated and given a water and were not visited again by the waitress- say there for over 20 minutes, only one other table of guests in the place.. Didn't wait to try the food- we left. I suggest ordering delivery.

Lunch buffet was awful. Crowded with kids yet no plain style pizzas were making it onto buffet. Pizzas were not turning over and a few were ice cold with coagulating cheese. Salad consisted of lettuce and three dressing choices. Very dissatisfied for a 10.00 lunch. Pizza delivery has always been satisfactory

Lunch buffet was horrible! We went in on Wednesday around 1220pm and a bunch of people were getting ready to head out. The lunch buffet had been cleaned out. We grabbed salad first as the little bit of pizza that was out looked like it had been out awhile. When they finally brought out pizzas they were odd combinations. Pineapple and Pepperoni, Banana Peppers and something.....no plain cheese, sausage or pepperoni. I asked if a cheese or something else would be coming out soon and I was told not likely. Since they were done with the buffet at 130, I didn't think anything else would be coming out. So I had more salad We get crappy service most of the time here (95%) If we call in an order and the girls are short and rude. We have been hung up on when trying to place an order. If we place it online to avoid dealing with them they are rude and uninterested when you pick up your order. Not sure who is running the place but customer service is not great from most of the ladies in the shop and this has been over multiple visits the last 3 years. Ronallys and Ricco's have better customer service, go there first......better yet, drive to Savoy in Stillwater. They thank you ... more than once for coming in to their location. We are done with Carbone's East as I feel like the owners are done providing a quality product and service.

THEY MUST OWN THE CHEESE FACTORY!! I have had pizzas with cheese before but never EVER one with this much cheese. I had a large thin crust burger and pepperoni and there was so much cheese on it that all the meat was entirely covered up!! It looked like a plain cheese pizza until I bit into it and hit the meat. Delivery was fast and the pizza was too hot to eat right away. The only thing that could have made it better was more beer!..

Canned mushrooms? May as well put leeches on the pizza with how they taste and feel. Pizza would be good if they just used fresh ingredients.

You cannot go wrong, we have ordered here many times, its our "Go To" here in Woodbury. Pizza is always great, pizza fries are a favorite for the kids. Pasta and hoagies are about what you expect. Buffet is also great.

You get what you pay for.... Less than 25 bucks for a pizza, toast with cheese, and two drinks. It is what you can make at home wig some pita bread, toast and slices of mozzarella. It left me wanting pizza. This was a tease. I went to eat elsewhere afterwards. Very unfulfilled....

This is what my childhood tastes like... Growing up on County Rd. C in Maplewood back before urban sprawl crept in and destroyed a perfectly idyllic town, this was the only convenient pizza place and good GOD was it perfection. The thin crust cut into squares, the solid layers of slightly browned cheese that oozed sweat tomato sauce when punctured. It was just a little mom and pop place in a small store next to a gas- station. The kind of place with 3 tables and a steady stream of locals coming in or delivery guys going out. No insane twisty bread with globs of cheese baked into the middle or cinnamon-swirl sticks, or any of that crap. Just mouth watering, feed-the-craving goodness. That store is closed now as far as I can tell, but fortunately my mom moved close to the one in Woodbury. Whenever I get back to MN, the first meal I demand is a large pepperoni. I have only had delivery so I can't speak to the in-house dining experience but it still hits my tongue and triggers all the nostalgia buttons in my brain. It is the most perfect and complete homecoming I can get.

Solid Pizza. Consistent Pizza. Always a winner. If you love the square cut pizzas, then give this place a shot. Not sure what Scott P. is talking about but we've never been burned here. The sauce isn't too spicy and it's definitely not sweet (like Pino's across the parking lot, which is good in its own right), the ingredients seem fresh enough, the kids like it, and we like it. Don't love it. Just like it.

Round pizzas, square cut, and well done. As a former Chicagoan, I judge pizza with a slanted eye... This pie is definitely worth checking out as they don't skimp on the toppings - plenty of cheese! For a "chain," well done!

Here's a weird and slightly gross personal fact about me: almost the instant I recover from a bout with a flu bug, the first thing I crave is PIZZA. I develop a serious case of one-track-mindedness that goes something along the lines of, "pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza pizza. PIZZA!!" So earlier this week after having missed a couple days of work due to a nasty case of the sickies and coming *this close* to calling my mother in Duluth and begging her to drive down to the Cities to take care of me in my sad and incapacitated state, when all of a sudden I started feeling better. My head wasn't reeling every time I stood up, my stomach wasn't feeling queasy and I was frickin' starving! I called Carbone's and ordered a large pizza, an order of their Italian fries and asked my awesome fiance to swing by and pick up the order on his way home from work. I'm pretty sure Carbone's will be high on my list of places to seek out when I'm in need of a cure for illness (hangovers included) because the cheese+grease combination was poifect, the crust is freaking amazing and the sauce in conjunction with all the other toppings was exactly balanced in just the right way where none of them overpowered any of the others. Pizza nirvana, not kidding.

Carbone's regular crust pizza is pretty thin, almost sweet, and cut into squares. I think it taste better left-over than it does fresh. It may be because the crust absorbs some of the oil overnight, which makes the crust less sweet than it was fresh. I don't know. something about the crust doesn't sit right with me. The sausage is probably the best I've ever had on a pizza. Slightly sweet, slightly spicy, large. Just good.

We consider ourselves Pizza Connoisseurs as it's one of our four main food groups-Kind of like Elf, but with Pizza. We were staying at the Wildwood Lodge in Lake Elmo so had it delivered on a frigid Friday night. It came hot & when promised. The sauce was slightly tangy & spicy. There was a good amount of cheese- perfect for vacationing Wisconsites. We ordered with Sausage, Pepperoni & Mushrooms & all tasted great. The only thing is that for a large pizza, it was a little smaller than we usually see. We were really glad to find this pizzeria & will definitely order from them again when we go back to the Twin Cities area.

Worst pizza ever. Too much sweaty, greasy cheese. Raw onions when delivered. CANNED MUSHROOMS for Pete's sake. Won't be back.

As I write this I am waiting for the pizza i called for 2 and 1/2 hours ago .A after an hour and a half we called and were told it would be there shortly- now 1 hour later I called for a second time and was told it may have gotten lost. i asked to speak to the manager but Bonnie said he was busy and didn't want to talk to me. I have ordered a pizza from Carbones every Friday night since this franchise opened . 3 of the last 5 times it has taken longer than an hour . i love Carbones and luckily there is another shop in W Woodbury i called there , got the manager right away and they said they would be happy to deliver to my side of town Carbones has not lost a customer but the shop in E Woodbury has lost a loyal customer that used to recommend them to all my neighbors and freinds . Too bad ! Mistakes happen and after the first call on all the other occasions it came pretty quickly. The idea of the manager not wanting to speak to the customer tells me everything i need to know good pizza bad business procedures i am 62 years old and have grown up on Carbones and have never had anything but satisfied until now
