Angelina's has great food and a nice little patio. It makes a great date night. They have a nice atmosphere and a piono player on Thursdays.

My wife and I were super excited to try carryout here. I ordered mushroom shrimp risotto. She ordered spaghetti bolognaise. Her dish was great super flavorful. mine was less so. The flavor was good but it was rice. Not risotto . Note to chef. Risotto is not rice.

Got it to go tonight! Staff got my order ready quickly and it was delicious! Spaghetti arrabiata is so tasty. You have to try it if you like spicy food.

This is truly homemade Italian food in a nice neighborhood setting. Favorites are the tortellini ai formaggi, sausage lasagna, and the spinach or caesar salads. One of my friends says Angelina's eggplant parmesan is the best she's ever had. They also have an extensive wine list and great Happy Hour. I go about once a week and have gotten to know the staff. It's great to have such a good restaurant within walking distance!

The best restaurant in Woodbury. Angelina brings her Brooklyn style Italian cuisine to an area that needs authentic flavor. The kitchen puts out her grandma's recipes, which are sure to please. Do yourself a favor and be sure to order dessert; take it home if you didn't leave room. You won't be disappointed!

Angelina's is listed twice in Yelp. Once as the old name Angelina's Kitchen & Once as Angelina's Italian Bistro. I want to be sure both listings have my review! This is Woodbury's best spot for a delicious sit down meal or catering and or take out. Not just the best in Woodbury but a five star review stands up to all the Twin Cities competition. I eat a specialized diet and have been received well and accommodated here since their inception in 2006. I have eaten here countless times and will continue to do so. I think you should eat here too. I typically do not advocate desert... But if you have not had the banana pudding here. You have yet to really LIVE. When I'm in hospice care and my specialized diet is no longer of any concern to me I would only like to be served Angelina's banana pudding for all my meals.

Angelina's is our favorite restaurant. Tonight was a perfect evening for dinner on the patio. A glass of wine and the chicken Marsalis with spinach was to die for. You may ask for the sun dried tomatoes for a wonderful addition. Angie stopped by to say hi, which always adds to the experience.

We tried Angelina's from a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. It was a perfect night for the patio and surprise it was 30% off bottles of wine night! I had Sarah's Favorite (I think that's the name) it was mac and cheese with spinach, bacon, and chicken. Delicious! I would have gone for eggplant or lasagna, but we ordered white wine so that sealed the mac and cheese. Boyfriend had Sicilian Bacon. It was very flavorful, but not a lot of sauce. He added some olive oil and fresh Parmesan and said that helped. I'm excited to go back and try some things recommended here! Also the patio was lovely, I would like to try the inside next time with the piano music.

Working and living in Woodbury, you need to have options for food that is not only great tasting, but "good for you" too. I have yet to be disappointed in dining in, take-away or ordering online. Having lived in this community for 20 years, I encourage you to try one of our BEST!

Charming Classic Italian Bistro Don't be scared away by the strip mall facade. Angelina is at the restaurant every time I am there. She must have a cot in the kitchen. Her touch is everywhere from the decor, to the wine list, to the romantic live piano music, to the sumptuous food. She is creative and caring and it comes through in every touch. Angelina always stops over at every table for a brief visit. So charming. The crowd is the type that appreciates this kind of attention. People who love creativity. Great wine list which is priced right. Perfect service. Live piano music is so romantic and I think it has a calming effect on the few children who are there early in the evening. Start with a bottle of wine and split a salad or pizza for an appetizer. Move on to the entrees or pastas and finish with a great cup of fresh brewed coffee and split one of the huge desserts. Plan on staying for a couple of hours in true European fashion.

Savory Italian food in the neighborhood. I like the dining atmosphere. Dining in is certainly much better than taking out. A nice local restaurant if you don't want to travel too far!

Great food. The eggplant appetizer was one of the best I have had. I had the Marsala braised beef which was tender and delicious. The Tiramisu was authentic. Made with lady fingers. The bill also was very reasonable for having two glasses of wine and three courses. I would go there again.

I had their special linguini with chicken, shrimp peppers in a cream sauce. My husband had the Italian panini with roasted potatoes. Our food was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The bread prior to our meal was hot and delish. Definitely coming back to try other items!

This is really a good restaurant. The food is great and the service is great also. We have been there several time for dinner. Now comes the bad part. It's that damn piano player.. The guy with the bowler hat. Actually he is quite good at the piano BUT the place is way too small and has too much hard surface for any music. You have to shout to carry on a conversation. I'm guessing that if they were to dump this guy their business would actually increase and I have suggested as much to the powers to be. We try and find a night when he isn't playing to enjoy their fine fare.

Man, how have I missed this place for so long? It's right in Woodbury, less than 15 minutes from my house... Ok, well, for some reason I didn't know it was a restaurant- I thought it was just a catering place that offered some food to go, to warm up at home. Wrong! I mean, they have that too, but the restaurant, people! (In case it wasn't clear enough from reading all my other reviews- my favorite kind of restaurant is Italian.) And this place is amazing! It's a pretty small place, but they have lots of tables in there. So make a reservation and be prepared to sit close enough to another party that you can ask them how their meal is. They bring out bread that is so soft and good. No butter, you get oil and balsamic. At our first visit, I got exactly one piece, because The Man devoured it. At our second visit, I made him feel so ashamed of his previous actions that he was scared to touch the bread. Ha, more for me! We've had the goat cheese appetizer, which comes with a lovely apricot chutney and almonds. Very good on that delicious bread. Plenty for 2 people to share. The Arugula salad with pear is an amazing dish. Spicy arugula with sweet pears and dried cranberries, soft goat cheese and crunchy toasted walnuts, all lightly drizzled in balsamic. The pastas are pretty good too- cooked al dente, richly flavored sauces. The sausage pizza that The Man had at our last visit was also good- the crust a little thicker than he expected, but I enjoy it that way. Over-all, the pizza was too spicy for me, but he said it was perfect for him. '(Don't listen to me about "spiciness" right now, though. I can eat a cracker and get heartburn at this point...12 more weeks until I can have my full stomach capacity back...Yes I'm counting. 9 months is a long time.) The deserts definitely deserve a mention. They have an apple tart that is so flaky and buttery and perfect it could make you cry. It comes with a little scoop of ice cream. I've also had a berry and Moscato cake that was quite good- but not as good as that apple tart. Service has been excellent, even the one time we sat at the bar. The bartender was just as knowledgeable about the menu as any server. Speaking the bar- GREAT wine selection. Atmosphere is also lovely. Brick walls, low light, but nothing too fancy. Very relaxing and intimate. Some nights we've been lucky enough to have a piano player there, and that makes the place somehow even better. So glad I've finally found this place. We are thrilled to add them to our list of regular restaurants.

Pretty good food - great portions! None of us could finish. The restaurant was very pretty but too dim! We could barely see each others' faces and had to ask for 2 extra candles at our table. Overall, good. Not amazing, but good. Definitely try the Eggplant Parmesan. It's the perfect portion size and very tasty and filling.

Cute little restaurant!! Got a panini for lunch, as did my companion and they were both great and the perfect portion for the afternoon. I also ordered an earl grey tea which came out in a beautiful mug and was delicious, I wanted to buy it from they're little shop but they only offered chai. Will visit again.

We utilized Angela's great talents on her catering side for our son's grooms dinner. I went to her with our budget and she put together an incredible spread that everyone absolutely loved! Everything was top notch quality and delicious. We even had leftovers that we froze and enjoyed again. Angela has great attention to detail and was very conscious to my son's requests for the dinner. Delivery went perfect and Angela provided everything we needed for our rustic grooms dinner, it turned out wonderful. We will definitely be utilizing her many more times. Thank you, Angela!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
