After growing up in the midwest and then moving to the west coast, what do I miss? Pizza Ranch! This was my first time at this particular location, but it did not disappoint. The food is delicious (and there's lots of it!). The service is great. And for $8.95, you can't beat the price, since it covers all you can eat meal, plus beverage, and dessert! Anytime I am in the midwest, I make it a point to stop at a Pizza Ranch when possible and I will continue that tradition!
You won't find a better pizza ranch! Friendly employees, the food is always great and the buffet will always have what you want as long as you request what type of pizza you want!
This Pizza Ranch is located down the street from the YMCA and around the corner from the local Walmart. The pizza place theme is Old Western since there is everything from cowboys to country music inside the restaurant. The place offers a lunch and dinner Buffet incase you don't want pizza to eat. The pizza is good and better then most of the places in the area. If you are dinning with a large group, a back room is available to have a party or other functions. The prices are responsible for a pizza place buy not all pizza restaurants service fried chicken like Pizza Ranch does.

perhaps Minnesota's best cafe, classic
This is a great place to get a cheap, greasy breakfast. They are not going to win any cleanliness or service awards, but the food is solid and in-expensive. They are not trying to be anything they are not. Hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon. Go eat!
I have only been there a time or two and still rave about it, the food is prepared right in front of you with precision and heart. Truly a Labour of love. Bang for your buck? Don't get me started... I went there with a five dollar bill and left with a full belly. Nuff said...

Deidra’s Espresso Cafe & Bakery

Reviews:
This is by far the best cafe in the area. I used to work for Deidra, and she is fantastic at what she does. Friendly atmosphere and great food.
As usual, when I was out of town I had to check out the random town bakery. This one was located at the end of a strip mall and seemed isolated and it wasn't busy at all. They had a variety of sandwiches on their menu that looked decent and reasonably priced. There was also an assortment of baked goods, the usual cookies, muffins, cakes, bars. They also had a sour cream and raisin bar, so I immediately knew I had to get that. I'd never seen that in a bakery before, ever. It reminded me of my grandma and my childhood, so I got it. It was a decent size for $1.75, and it was really good! What a nice surprise seeing something like that in a small town bakery. It was a little too sweet, but very addictive. Service was fine.
Great coffee, muffins and scones! This cute little spot opens at 6:30 with friendly staff that helped us start the day off with a smile. I went with a triple americano and a raspberry white chocolate scone and it was delicious. Friends with me said the coffee was exceptional as well as a carmel crem which was very good, but a little sweet.

Great food and solid prices. I have been 3 or 4 times and always have a great experience. It is not fancy, but a great place for a solid lunch. The burritos are huge and really good. The tacos are also really tasty. Free chips and salsa!

Pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a pizza joint. Passing through on vacation and needed lunch. Saw pizza nearby on yelp and had to choose between the presumably mom and pop Giovanni's and corporate chain Pizza Ranch. I always err on the side of local vs chain. Thank God I chose this place. The pizza was really one of the best I've had. I got the vegetarian and the two kids split a cheese. We all knew it was special right away. The hand tossed crust was on the thinner side and the cheese tastes like it was real quality. The kids had fun waiting thanks to the old school pinball game, Galaga, and Dig Dug. The staff was friendly and the bathroom was pretty clean. I wish they'd open one in Lincoln, NE.
Great pizza Great lasagna Great staff Great setting Great price Nothing more to say then you need to try this place out if you haven't already.
Great pizza!! Great lunch specials, we love the take and bake pizzas (they use real, fresh raw hamburger on the hamburger take and bake..... It was the best pizza to come out of our oven at home!!! The pizza is best in Willmar, hands down

What a surprise to come across this gem. I came for dinner, and was seated ... anywhere I wanted to sit ... so I elected the big bay window overlooking the first tee. Yes my friends, this is the club house at the golf & country club...eh, golf course...!!! Nice lively club, fun to listen to the groups of golf buddies chatting. The club (19th hole) has a nice restaurant, buffet, and the sports bar with 5 or 6 TVs running and there is music playing. Comfortable, lively yet not so loud as to become annoying. The menu is diverse, having everything from sandwiches to steak, pastas to seafood, and a lot in between. The yelp reviews & tips provided me with some good guidance, advice...so I elected to try their famous bacon wrapped jalapenos, which were delish...a nice kick and flavorful. Then to follow I went with the hot pastrami with slaw on marbeled rye. Great flavor, meaty and very tasty. The sandwich come with your choice of fries, soup, salad etc. I went with todays soup. Equally as tasty. In fact my whole meal was fantastic...!!! If you play golf, this appears to be the hangout. If you dont play thats okay too... come enjoy a nice lunch or dinner with your family and friends. Good facility, very nice staff, excellent food.
I came here on a Wednesday night and the waitress told me the pastas were the special of the night. I ordered the seafood ravioli and it was great. Others in my group also added the salad bar for a dollar more, esp cause they wanted a popover. Anyways the place is easy to find and an ample amount of parking in their lot. Went upstairs to eat and the waitress took out order and the food came out pretty quickly for the amount of people already there for dinner. I didn't order any alcohol but the list of available beers was extensive. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. It's a great place to come and just hangout, not quiet but not too loud. The atmosphere is dim but perfect for socializing. I heard during the warmer months there's a patio and a good view.
I grew up on this golf course and pretty much ate here every summer for 6 years. Since the new ownership they have cleaned it up, but it still has the Willmar (non-country club stuffy) charm. Drinks are great and come quickly, but the best change is the food. We went there expecting to eat an ok meal, but our steak, salmon, bacon wrapped shrimp, and sea-bass were outstanding.... The salad bar was fresh and clean also with warm pop-overs. Brian, the chef is obviously educated and thoughtful and caring about his food. It wasn't just a wonderful meal "in Willmar, MN" it was a wonderful meal. period. Exceptional Happy Hour and Brunch too!

It's not bad, but it's not great either. Very mid grade quality food and service. The inside is filled and decorated with cheap chinsy type decorations. The price is very fair and they really do load you up with chips and salsa. The service can be really good some nights and pretty awful other nights. Try the queso dip if you go.
Love the chips and addictive salsa! Street legal salsa! The food is made to order , relatively quickly, and always HOT! (temperature not spicy) You can't help but take a bite even when warned. If you look around you will notice others showing the international sign of eating something temperature hot. "Hee! HEee! Haaa! Hooo! Whooo!" My favorite is the fish tacos, or Letter E. My honey loves the Steak Fajitas and the kids love the tacos and enchiladas. Love their rice, and if you can manage to fit in some dessert do it! The portions are large and worth taking home with you just to try the desserts. Fried Ice Cream or Sopapillas are both a family favorite. The four of us usually share a Fried Ice Cream as again, the portions are large. Totally worth the stop, and worth taking home the left overs as they are just as delicious re-heated. lol
Probably 3.5 stars but I will bump them up half a star. The staff was very friendly and cordial. Large variety on the menu and attentive service. Food came out quickly and was hot. I had the catfish fajitas which were decent quality. Dining area is a bit loud during peak hours and the chairs although very artistic and cool looking and not comfortable to sit in for very long. Not many choices in Willmar but this is one of your better ones.
