Very fast we ordered and the pizza was done in about 10 minutes. Tastes delicious too. We just got the cheese and pepperoni but the crust is really good. Also, the gentlemen working was very kind and genuine. Would definitely recommend and go back. They also had other really good specials.
Good quality pizza for cheap. I love the Garlic chicken pizza is my favorite.
Pizza is decent "fast pizza" quality. Certainly just as tasty as Pizza Hut or dominos. Best part of this franchise... The guys there are just awesome! Super friendly! Quick service! Definitely make you feel welcome!

Olive’s Fresh Pizza Bar

Reviews:
In my top 3 best pizza places in MN for sure. I want to lick the menu just reading it. Their pizza is kick ass. Go here. Walking into this restaurant reminds me of one giant homely dining room with the high ceiling, giant chandelier, and warm wood tones. There are tables throughout, with a bar to your left and open kitchen with a big ass brick pizza oven next to it. You seat yourself. Our server came over pretty quickly and explained the menu since it was our first time. There's just 3 choices of salads, and a list of pizzas. I like that they stay true to their speciality and there isn't a bunch of sandwiches and other junk on there. She also offered us samples of the beers we were thinking of before we ordered which I really appreciated. I should have just kept sampling everything until I got drunk. Next time. We tried the house salad, then did a half Alaskan, half pizza of the month. The salad was refreshing and large, but it was just too sweet for me. It was the candied cranberries and raspberry vinaigrette that gave me a cavity. I also wish the crispy looking bread thing that topped it was crispy. The Alaskan with the salmon, when it came to the table I was very worried, the fish smell punched me in the face. I took a bite and immediately shut up. It was so f'ing good. The crust is thin, buttery, and crispy. The toppings were amazing. The monthly special was topped with fontina (my favorite cheese ever), fancy mushroom, sweet and red onions, bacon, and black truffle oil. They should put this on their everyday menu. I want it everyday. Overall, the service was excellent. The girl that helped us did a great job making us feel welcomed. Everyone we encountered that helped us was ultra nice. They did get really busy though and the drinks then got just a tad slow, but not crazy slow where you're glaring at your server from across the room. Plus she was so friendly that it didn't bother me so much. I just wish they had a full bar, with a name like "Olives," I sorta expected a martini list, but it's a pizza place not a bar...I know. I'll be back for sure. I'm going to wait until my boyfriend goes out of town so I can order a pizza all to myself. I'm selfish and greedy.
Our favorite pizza place!! Fresh ingredients, interesting and delicious choices, a GREAT beer and wine menu!! All of the pizzas and salads we have tried have been wonderful. Our go-to pizza is always the margarita, though, because the sauce is so good. The bartenders and servers are so friendly- we now feel like they are almost family. Now... If only they would serve dessert.
This is great gourmet pizza and among the best in the north east metro. We had the farmer's market (better than expected), cecilia, and a pepperoni and sausage. The crust is thin and just right - crispy, but not over done. The quality of the ingredients is very noticeable. Some other brick oven pizza spots have opened up and for my tastes, Olive's is the best.

Acqua

Reviews:
Food was fantastic! Staff was GREAT! Just a wonderful place. Went here while one vacation to celebrate our wedding Ann. Everything was awesome
We've been wanting to go to Acqua since reading about it in January. Definitely wanted to sit dockside, so definitely had to wait until the snow melted. A big birthday came along, so off to Acqua we go. When you wait so long to go somewhere, you almost kind of set the restaurant up for failure because your expectations are so high. Well, I'm glad to say, Acqua did not disappoint! We had the three course tasting menu, which was not a tasting menu at all, but rather consisted of full sized portions, and then some. Here's what we had: Caprese salad - beautifully presented...offset layers of yellow heirlooms and mozzarella on a bed of arugula and basil, drizzled with some balsamic reduction. Flavors were well balanced. My only complaint is that the mozzarella didn't have much flavor...then again, I have never had good mozzarella in the US. Roasted Beet Salad - another yum salad. Fried goat cheese was tasty and the roasted beets were excellent. Ossobuco - I moved the bone and the meat fell off. The cut was actually twice as big as I was expecting. Sweet potato puree was intensely flavored. It could have used a touch more sauce. Roasted Chicken Salmoriglio - perfectly cooked...right at that point where the meat turns from pink to white. Peach crisp - Very nice peach flavor...Sysco peaches have never tasted so pure. The Izzy's cinnamon ice cream was insanely good, but could have been more frozen. Molten Chocolate Lava Cake - nicely prepared, perfectly runny in the middle. Again, the ice cream could've been more frozen. All in all, the food flavors and preparation was spot on. Hats off to the kitchen. The service was also top-notch. JJ knew his stuff and was attentive without being intrusive. We brought our own wine and I was pleased to see that they provided the proper Riedel glasses for the varietal. All in all, probably the best food and dining experience in the Twin Cities. Comparing to all restaurants I ever been to in any city, it would still get 4 stars.
Acqua is a wonderful place to go when you feel like being wined and dined! Spectacular food, including the desserts! Fabulous wine and cocktails . My only complaint is how they up the cost of the wine( but what place doesn't?) would defiantly recommend it to anyone!

Reviews:
Love this place. Great, cheap, healthy food, and the folks who work there are very nice. Excellent for a quick lunch or dinner--every time I call for take out they tell me it'll be ready in 10-15 minutes. The fries are excellent, and a sandwich meal costs you less than 6 bucks, a bit more if you want to add on a drink. Hard to beat that price when McDonald's is only a mile away charging the same price for processed beef and mass-produced ingredients. The only reason I rated this place 4 stars is that the dining room leaves something to be desired. The bright, fluorescent lighting and the window view of the intersection of 61 and County Rd E do not make for the ideal ambiance of a nice night out, but I could not recommend this place much higher!
. had a group of seven people. nothing really stood out as being greatjust an average dining experience
We were looking for some place to eat besides the usual chains. Yelp steered us to Black Sea and we enjoy Mediterranean food so we thought we couldn't lose. We had a huge kebab combo that was spiced just right with salad and rice and lovely Greek olives. Save room for the baklava. Chatted up the owner about our trip to Istanbul (his home). A great dinner at a reasonable price. Don't miss it!

Grandma’s Bakery

Reviews:
I've used Grandma's Bakery twice. Both specialty cakes, one was a picture collage for a 70th birthday, the other a baby shower cake to match the invitation. Both cakes were beyond my expectations in design. But, the best part is when people say how delicious they are also. The employees are always friendly & very accommodating. I will ALWAYS get my cakes here!
I found myself in this neck of the woods and as always, had to try out a new bakery. This was their big bakery with a little storefront. Now, it was about 3 pm, so the selection was more limited. I was looking for a fancy donut, but they didn't have any. She said there was one that was creme filled like one of those little cupckaes, but they were sold out, so I was bummed. I ended up getting a cherry donut (flavor of the month) and a lemon lime cupcake (it was the only cupcake left that was filled). I NEED my cupcakes to be filled. The donut wasn't that great. The cupcake was delicious. The lady who was working was so nice and put up with my indecisiveness and questions like a champ. I want to try out their main place sometime if I am ever in the area again, and try to go earlier so there is more of a selection. Also, there were samples of something delicious. I don't remember what it was, but it was very good, very sweet.
You cannot go wrong in this place. We have had cookies, cakes, and other yummy treats. I am sorry that my review will be short, but when you have an awesome bakery there is not much more to say. You want a great baked item, come here. It helps that they are close to my home, but I would probably drive across the Twin Cities for some of their treats.

Pizzeria Pezzo

Reviews:
How to find authentic Chicago deep dish pie? Go to White Bread Lake?? Yes, the pizza in the northern burbs ( which I know, some city folk think it may as well be in Canada) has come to a peak. The deep dish has been the only thing I ever have had here. Because if it's not broken? Why fix it. Gino's east? You might be IN chi-town but I will take this pie at pezzo over yours. Start with the wings. Only one flavor but to die for. The kind of wings that make you realize that a good wing can be flavorful, they don't have to burn your pubes off.
We had the homemade fennel pepperoni (#3 on the menu). It was fantastic! Started with caprese salad -- balsamic was fanrastic
You come for these things: cipolinni, deep dish, and tiramisu. You leave having experienced the best ever.

Pino’s Pizza & Pasta

White Bear Lake, 55110
Reviews:
Great crust, great tasting ingredients This is a blue collar pizza joint with some heart. $5 special 2 slices and a pop is the best deal in town. The $18, 2 pizzas and a 2 liter is awesome if you gotta feed your herd. The sauce is sweet enough that all my kids will eat it. Most likely some futbol rolling on the 1980s TV while you wait. Al may take a minute away from finishing your pie to swear at the tele if the wrong team scores but "forget about it!" If you need everyone in the joint to say please and thank you and how is your wine...go to Pezzo. Its friggin delicious too. You want a hard working guy to make you a kick butt NY style pie for a fair price and talk about some futbol or football while you wait...come to Pinos. Tip:Take it to go unless its nice out. A few small tables outside. 1 small one inside but you will be in the way of the take out patrons
I like their pizza but when you have a coupon for all they will do is is say that's the delivery fee. So we paid full price and it was good pizza . Not as good a pizzeria pezzo that place is awesome but no delivery.
Pino's is simply awesome pizza. We live in the area and love to frequent this place. The owner delivered to our house himself one time just to see who we were. This is New York style pizza with a superb crust. There have been many other pizza places in this location and Pino's is here to stay.

Pine Tree Apple Orchards

450 Apple Orchard Rd
White Bear Lake, 55110
Reviews:
Pine Tree is our Apple Orchard of choice. The drive to the orchard is beautiful, it is very fairly priced (unlike some larger orchards I've been to), and there is NOTHING like the apple donuts. Also, it also moonlights as a pick-your-own strawberry patch in the summer (tons of berries for super-cheap).
We went today (October 17). No more apples to be picked, but lots of fresh apples for sale. The whole place smells like apples, you can't help but buy some. Pretty decent prices. Unavoidable to buy doughnuts, apple cider, or any number of other goods. I loved that they had a bakery, and plenty of picnic tables to sit at. We like to avoid crowds, so went on a weekday (nice that they're open weekdays!) and it was perfect. In the pumpkin patch, a truckload of men were unloading pumpkins picked elsewhere into the patch...sort of lame, but I get it. The apple orchards were nice to walk through. The maze was $3, we didn't do it. Beautiful location. Nice that there's not a "cover charge" to get in...you spend enough on the baked goods!
On a beautiful fall day we decided to go to an orchard. We try a new one each year because we just haven't found one we love so this year we headed to Pine Tree. I have two sons ages 5 and 2 so looked for one with more than just apple picking so the kiddos would have a little fun. We expected it to be busy, but it's how a place handles the crowds that I have a problem with. Many other local orchards are similarly busy but allow you to do more things in your couple of hours spent there. Here is a summary of our day in pros and cons: Pros: Beautiful location Fun corn maze (5 year old loved it, 2 year old tripped a lot when not being carried) Cons: We left without apples. Unless you want to spend a family day separated from your family ("honey I'll wait in this long ass line to buy apples while you take the kids through the corn maze") or have small children with unusually large amounts of patience you're not leaving here with apples. The line to park was insane It would be a great orchard if you don't have kids (and weigh less than 75 lbs and like pony rides...)

Ingredients is delicious. We had been wanting to try it for a long time, but it's a bit expensive so we hadn't pulled the trigger. Well we finally did and it was really good. I had the pulled pork, which comes on top of corn bread and coleslaw. it was delicious, although a bit too much coleslaw for me. My wife had the Poached Pear and Arugala salad, which she loved. On a second trip for take out she had the same salad and I went with the Asian pork salad. It was okay, but I would not get it again. We love the fresh ingredients, it just makes for better food. Also, they had live music the first time we were there which was pretty good. The menu is pretty small and many of the option are pretty expensive, so if you aren't wanting to spend a lot your options are limited. We will be back though, it is tasty.
I love this lovely local spot! I have never had a bad item and have eaten here about a couple dozen times. I highly recommend ordering from the daily specials menu as it contains the ingredients of the season and the chef's most-current inspiration. From the regular menu, which also changes slightly with the seasons, the crab cakes are fantastic as is the artichoke dip. The peas n' hay are a much-loved classic and you can't go wrong with any of the burgers, sandwiches, or meat-based entrees - I haven't tried any of the regular-menu seafood items because the seafood specials are always too enticing to pass up when I'm in the mood for something aquatic. Just one of those places where you know you're in good hands and that you'll enjoy whatever you order and that even the most expensive entrees (usually not more than $30 unless market prices dictate so) will be worth the money. Also, don't let the slightly-overly-formal service fool you. I can appreciate the effort, but it always feels a little overdone for the actual feel of the place. It's actually really laid-back with live music some nights and you could stroll in in jeans without anyone looking at you funny.
Great service here at ingredients. Staff was super acommodating and made sure everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the steak with a side of onion rings. I substituted the mashed potatoes with fries on account of the blue cheese.... huge mistake. Onion rings and fries and steak meant one hearty, hearty meal. The steak was good, and rare enough for my rare preference. They also had live music and Summit EPA's. A bit pricey, but ambiance was nice.
