One of the best restaurants around in the tri-county area of Carver-Hennepin-Wright Counties. There service is great and attentive. I recently had there shirp scampi special for September great value for the amount of food (came with bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo, fruit, garlic toastie, and garden salad). I also ordered New York Cheese cake for desert which was fabulous even came with strawberry glaze. Be warned on Friday night this place is packed, but when the food is this good why wouldnt be. No restraunt even compares to the atmosphere or level of service in Watertown or Delano.

My wife and I rode our bikes into Watertown on the Luce Line. We peddled 20 miles thinking about the D'Vinci's sub sandwich. We were expecting something like the Navarre location, but were we surprised to find that the Watertown installation is not just a hole-in-the wall pickup/delivery joint, it's a very nice restaurant. "I thought we'd be eating out of styrofoam" she exclaimed as we feasted on said sub. The menu is extensive. Not only is there a good selection of Italian dishes, there are many other interesting things. The monthly specials list alone had three items I wanted to try (Walleye salad?!). As we enjoyed the sub and a couple of beers, the very friendly server offered to fill up our water bottles for our ride home. How sweet! We will definitely be back.

Over priced for Watertown but pizza has gotten better than what it was a few years ago. They have good customer service also.

I'm super torn on this place. In restaurant experience is great, but delivery is lacking. This review will cover their delivery service, so if your wondering about dine in, I'll let you know it's a different menu and a very different experience. Delivery was timely, happened when estimated by the worker who took my order when I called. The pizza was great. But delivery pasta was not good. Lasnasga was only ok, the tortellini was nasty. I'll will order again because they are much better than the alternative of dominoes, but I'll be sticking with their pizza.

Consistently awesome pizza - so good! Other family faves are the cheese bread and cheesecake.

From the moment We got there until I got my food on the table it took 1 hour and 15m. Decent steak, the fettuccini Alfredo looked and tasted as if it came out of a can . I ordered a glass of wine that was already sour. Staff was very friendly but slow nevertheless. I would say if you're in Watertown; skip this place, but then again, there is nothing else around. Those 2 stars go to the friendly waitress. I wouldn't be complaining, had I not paid a big time price for a small time meal.

Stopped in an had a pep and mush pizza while in town. Very fresh, crust was crisp not burnt. Enjoyed the restaurant and staff was friendly. If ever in town I will try other food. Very good experience.

I grew up in Delano and have fond memories of family dinners at D'Vincis. I recently had them cater my parents' golden anniversary party and I couldn't have been happier. David was wonderful to work with and our guests just raved about all of the food. David made sure we had everything we needed, from serving utensils to a bowl of mints at the end of the buffet. And all at a very reasonable price. I would have them cater another event in a heartbeat.

All I can say is this resturant has it all geat food, great location, and great people. Every customer is treated like a member of the family. They get get fed like that also. Ever been to a Sunday afternoon Italian Luncheon? If you have not please make sure you come hungry and a couple of holes left on your belt, becuase you will be fed! That is how it is at D'Vinci's. The D'Vinci's Sub, Italian Meatball Sandwhich, Chicken Parm, Pasta Pompeii, Pizza's have the best sauce and crust, Steaks are awesome also. If you are in Watertown biking on County Road 6, walking on the Luce Line Trail, Canoeing the Crow River, or Motorcycling on County Road 25. Stop in you wont be disappointed. ps. If you are looking for the best Sunday AM brunch in the western suburbs D'Vinci's is the spot to hit!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
