Used this location for a customer luncheon and Papa came through! They delivered the 40 pizzas on time, with plates, napkins, peppers, and Parmesan cheese. They were courteous and very helpful. This was a very important lunch for a very important customer and they did everything I asked for perfectly. I would have this location do another customer lunch anytime. THANK YOU Papa Johns!

Awesome family owned business! Their pizza is top notch with a huge variety of options. They will always make you aware of a discount and you can customize them however you want! Definitely recommend!
The best pizza in Savage. This place is locally owned and operated. You will likely meet the owner when you pick up. The amount and quality of ingredients he has available is very impressive and makes all the difference. This is no Papa Murphy's.
Wow, definitely better than Papa Murphy's. The crust is delicious. I had the Sunset pizza on thin crust.

Tommy’s Malt Shop

Reviews:
Great local place in the burbs! My rents live near by and we've been to Tommy's twice. I've been pleased with my experiences. The servers are attentive, the food comes out fast and fresh, and it's super tasty. The burgers are well seasoned and the bun is fluffy and fresh. The fries are just ok, so make sure you sub for the onion rings. Totally worth it! The Malts are huge - one full size was plenty for 3 of us. I think they could use a bit more malt powder, but they're good and very generous. You can get as many flavors as you want in one for no additional price! Perfect for an excessive gal like myself ;) I'm happy that something successful has finally opened in that cursed spot, and I hope they stick around.
Food/Drink: Burger, Malt and fries is just what the doctor ordered. After looking at all the reviews, I wish I had ordered the cheese curds, but oh well. The malt combos and the option to "make your own" pushed me over the edge of awesome (and a full malt is plenty for two people). The house fries were pretty good on their own and the burger was cooked well and the bread didn't disintegrate in grease. I even heard some raves about the chili. Ambiance: Here's the insider knowledge, I think (maybe) it changed recently. I remember driving by this place in the past and it didn't have the same interior it does today. But the setup and look is awesome. Still pretty easy to get in and get food, enough signage to make sure you know you're in malt shoppe and great color scheme (from what I can tell). A little on the noisy side if you're not close to the windows. Service: Great. She kept checking in with us and brought out whatever was ready right away. Our bill was on our table as we were winding down. Everything was clean even though it was kid's night. Overall: I'll be back, even if it's just for the malts. But there's enough on the menu for me to make a few trips (but probably not many more). Double check the hours and just be aware that it can be loud (lots of families, teams, teens, etc) and crowded at some times.
No frills malt shop serving delicious shakes and malts. The burgers are the old fashioned kind, greasy and flat...it's what I like on occasion and what I expect at a malt shop or diner. The place is not quite up-to-date and probably could use an update...the furnishings are getting very worn out. I will come back though for the good malts and burgers!

Reviews:
We have driven by this place so many times and never stopped. Tonight we made the trip and are glad we did. Service was friendly and attentive, food was great (we all had burgers) and prices were good. We will be back. Have been back several times. Love this place. Wonderful gluten-free buns for the burgers make this a must visit for those who are gluten free. Staff is very knowledgable about gluten contamination, etc.
The chicken wings are so good and large. The burgers are ok and not the best but edible. I would come back just for the wings.
This place probably has one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! I opted for the Elk California with Cheese burger with fried onions. My husband had the El Diablo Bison Burger. Both were delicious and we're already planning on going back to try more of their large menu. I really wanted to give Buffalo Tap five stars but their prices are a bit high.

Davanni’s

Reviews:
Excellent staff. Food comes out quickly and is delicious. Davanni's is definitely one of the best chain restaurants in Minnesota, and this is a great location of theirs.
Their food is TERRIBLE! The pizza I ordered had VERY little sausage, more like nothing at all! The Crust was tough, WE COULD NOT EAT IT! I could not even cut it with a pizza cutter. That is how tough it was after cooking it until it was done. There were NO instructions on how to cook a partially baked pizza. The meat ball sandwich was BURNT, MEAT BALLS AND BREAD, and there was no cheese on the meat ball sandwich. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DAVANNI'S AGAIN! I SPENT $54 including tip. It was not worth it and I will never order delivery or stop in to one of your stores ever again! They invited me back to try again. (Free) It was much better than the 1st time. The food was improved and we tried everything I ordered the 1st time. I would return. However, I would order THIN crust dough because the regular hand made was not what pizza dough should be. It was a bit tough, not a lot, and not cooked like other pizza dough that is better; Papa Murphy's, Fireside (Richfield), Domino's etc......
The pizza here is great and the help is friendly. The want to make your visit to this restaurant a pleasant experience..

Which Wich

Savage, 55378
Reviews:
I travel all over the US and, in my opinion, WhichWich is the #1 sandwich shop going. Their sandwich selection is unique, the ingredients fresh, and it's a cool atmosphere. Subway isn't even in the same league. Jimmy Johns may be "freaky fast" but WhichWich is "freaky good".
I love all the choices at Which Wich, but really stick to about four of them. My favorite is actually the black bean patty! I get it toasted on wheat bread with hot peppers, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, bell peppers and avocado. There is an extra charge for avocado, but it's fresh compared to the smear of strange you get from Subway! Service can be a bit slow sometimes which is why I gave it a 4/5.
Went to try out Wich Wich today in Savage MN for their opening weekend, and was met with colossal disappointment. I placed an extremely simplistic order which consisted of Ham, Egg and Cheese. After nearly 45 minutes of waiting for a sandwich (which was lower quality than either an Egg McMuffin or a Quizno's Sub), the sandwich came back extremely cold, and even had frost on it. I asked them to reheat the sandwich, which they did, but still came back half cooked. One side of the egg was hot, while the other side of the egg sandwich was frozen and still had frost on it. They ended up throwing away the sandwich, and I left an hour later without having eaten. While I do understand that this is opening weekend for the restaurant, it seems inexcusable to have an hour wait on a sandwich that pales in comparison to Quiznos, Jimmy Johns, or even Subway in quality, and even after two attempts is considered inedible. However, I will likely attempt this restaurant again sometime down the road (after all the 'kinks' have had some time to be worked out), but I still feel this experience warrants less than a full star. I will update this site again upon my second visit to see if they have righted any of their wrongs... Here's hoping.

Kyoto Sushi

Reviews:
I had a friend who worked here before, and told me all of the disgusting things you reviewers and review-seekers SHOULD be aware of. First off, the cooks in the back potentially drops something that is with your meal, and will pick it up from the bare ground and place it back in your meal. Though every restaurant could possibly be doing this, my co worker saw this firsthand here. She confronted the chef, but the chef did not view it was a big deal. For you sanitary freaks like me, this is a red flag. It was a whole cooked terriyaki salmon that fell on the ground. Stuff like spicy mayo - The owner is stingy and will get pissed at the servers for wasting just an itsy bit of the leftover spicy mayo that the previous customer didn't finish, so servers are forced to refill the same small bowl up with spicy mayo and give it to the next customer who asks for it. Not just spicy mayo, but other stuff like a customer that took a couple bites of their meal and didn't like it. My friend threw away the meal and she did. The owner saw it all and got mad her for throwing it away and made her pay for the meal that she threw away. He said, "You wasted my money! Now you have to pay for it. That could have been given to a different customer!" She talked back to him and said, "But the customer took bites out of this already" Yes, in the end she really did have to pay for it. There's more, but that should do it. I didn't know who to approach this to so I will let someone who will see this comment do something or spread the word. It is pretty bad behind the scenes. I only know of the Savage location doing this, but nonetheless, there should be an evaluation at all of the other ones for us as consumers. Thank you for taking the time to read.
The food was okay but the service was horrendous! Had to ask for napkins. Had to steal cutlery from a neighboring table. Had to ask several times for our edamame. Waitress seemed very disinterested and bored.
I'm a fan of all the Kyoto's in the Twin Cities if I am correct I believe they are all owned from one single family so everywhere will be fairly similar in decor and menus. My boyfriend and I normally go to the Eagan location but because we now live closer to Savage decided to check out this location. The furniture is in much better condition compared to Eagan where the seats are all torn up. It seems a tad big smaller in bar size and the amount of tables. We did the All you can eat sushi dinner option. (check for coupons in local coupon books because they usually offer $6 off for two people) The service was about the same compared to Eagan as well not the best but still friendly. The fish is still fresh and I love the fact they have Green tea, and red bean ice cream my favorites!

Reviews:
I ate @ the same location finally today. NICHOLE the shift lead blew my mind today with her amazing service. We have not eaten there since the chicken made our entire family ill... Today we entered had a flawless meal with flawless service. I inquired about au jus sauce for my prime rib. and she came through with offering both gravy and au jus sauce without me even asking. Needless to say we will be back to enjoy this new found sandwich!
Every time I came here the employees are so friendly and happy n the food is so fresh n good I love culvers
Culvers is one of the better burgers you can get from a drive through window and it is as close to In and Out burger as you can get in the midwest. The custard is always good and they rotate the flavor of the day. I eat here every so often but its hard to deviate from what they do well, burgers and custard. Every time I go I have good intentions to try something else but can't. I have had the walleye and the chicken dinner before and it wasn't too bad for being fried food. Overall this location is on par with other Culver's although the one in Apple Valley is typically faster. (Hey it's fast food)

Reviews:
Ok, round two of reviews and I had the same verdict - 4 stars as well for this location. I know, it's generous but I don't feel 3 stars is fair. This time, I was able to eat in and spent a little more time at Freddy's. First off, the inside looked like a fast food place. Once I entered, I could smell grease. I don't think I'd be able to shake this grease conviction I had about Freddy's. It smelled like fried food right away. However then we were greeted nicely by people at the counter. It was pretty easy to decide what I wanted. I was lunching with the Deetz and she was treating. Yes!!!! I would go for the big combo! Lol - no. I went with single patty melt and she got a single cheeseburger with no mustard. It was really quick to get the food and they delivered it to our table. The patty melt was delish. I still couldn't figure out if I loved the fries or not. I guess I didn't. We also had the turtle sundae and I was a witness of Dita's skilled tongue in twisting the cherry stem. She must be a good date. Besatch. The custard was thin in my opinion. I think I had creamier custard and I frankly prefer it thicker and richer. It's hard to beat Kopp's Custard in Milwaukee but even Culver's was better on the custard portion. The cool thing that happened here was the staff were nice and sweet. Dita was wearing her fave t-shirt that had a saying printed on it "Feed Me and Tell Me I'm Pretty." Every time they delivered food to us they told her "You're pretty!" So sweet and it was funny!! So, my conclusion: they're not the answer to the whole cheeseburger world. They're an addition and it's fine and all. It will give me another choice when I'm craving greasy burger and fries.
First glance, this place reminded me of a smash burger or a less popular in-n-out. The layout looks very old school in a nice way. However, the tiles were pretty slippery for certain people's shoewear, so I could see them walking with caution when getting their food. I had the #5 combo as recommended by the cashier. The bread was greasy and the meat looked like a burnt hash brown. It actually tasted okay though but I would have preferred a meat with more flavor than thin and dry. The French fries are very thinly cut that they're perfect for little kids, however I felt like I couldn't just pick up one French fry at a time like other places that serve decent sized fries. They were season nicely though but could lay off the salt a bit. I also tried the Carmel turtle sundae that was delicious! It just melted extremely quick because of the hot fugue and Carmel sauce. I'd get that again for sure. It came with pecan nuts as well. I also tried some of the Hawaiian sundae which had strawberry, pineapple and macadamia nuts. This was my least favorite because it tasted so artificial and nothing like a Hawaiian sundae. It was almost a diss to name it that especially when Hawaii has delicious fresh fruit... They need to reconsider cutting fresh fruit for this one.. Not canned fruit.
Uh oh....watch out in-n-out! This burger joint is now my new favorite! Great service, friendly staff, and kept very clean. The custard is pretty good, but like other reviewers have said, it's no culver's custard. But the burger is one of my top three burgers I have ever had (I am gluten-free, therefore a self proclaimed meat enthusiast and expert) and now my #1 fast food burger (including in-n-out, five guys, culver's, smash burger). Tender meat that sometimes will break apart. Very thin patties (which I hesitated toward) but have a unique crispy top layer. I am satisfied with the double cheeseburger (Cali style), but my father and brother prefer the triple burger. Loved it! Thanks Freddy

I gave in and finally tried Dickeys! Only because I had a Groupon. I am personally a big fan of Famous Dave's and noting beasts St. Louis bbq joints, so Dickeys had some major competition. Over all they were pretty basic and noting to brag about. I got the big family platter with a little bit of everything. The flavors of the meat were good but it was all on the dry side. The dinner rolls are worth passing over and the beans sucked. Also, prices seem to be a little high for what you get. The staff was friendly and polite so they get points for customer service. Over all I don't think I will be stopping in again.
One of my favorite fast food chains around, typically everything is hot and fresh. You might have to wait 5-10 minutes to get your food, but its certainly worth it. My favorites include: cheese sausage (so good), chopped or pulled brisket, rolls, and onion tanglers. We come here about once a month and recently been getting 3 of the XL family meals for the office on friday and nearly nothing is left afterwards.
Looks like it won't be here for long. They can't pay their rent and a court ordered eviction notice on the door.
