I was going to leave a 4 star review, but there's no reason why it shouldn't be 5 stars. This place is an absolute no-brainer for lunch. Today the missus had a shrimp tempura bento box and I had a 3 roll lunch special with yellowtail, spicy salmon and shrimp tempura. The bento box was already full and came with a small side salad and miso soup on the side. Almost everything was fried, but her tempura and fried vegetables had a satisfying crunch to them. No soggy-fried food here! Also came with 4 rolls (California or New York, don't remember). Only 7.95 for the bento box! My yellowtail (raw) maki rolls were wonderful. The fish tasted and smelled fresh. The spicy salmon rolls weren't the best ever, but still fresh and tasty, and the shrimp tempura rolls were excellent. Only 8.95. If you walk into Cub you can get an 8 pc sushi tray from the deli for about $8, so this is far and away an amazing deal. I am conscientious of price and quality. While I digress their miso soup is fairly bland, and my spicy salmon rolls didn't knock my socks off, the overall quality is great and the price point can't be beat. The raw rolls I had (where quality ingredients are most important) were fantastic and I highly recommend this little spot to anyone. We will definitely be back for more.

Love that they deliver. Good sushi that is fairly priced. I had their sushi/sashimi entree which came with miso soup and a side salad. All of the sushi was fresh, miso soup was just right, and the ginger dressing for the salad was perfect. Highly recommend to anyone in the south suburbs looking for their sushi fix! Delivery is also super fast!

This small "hole-in-the-wall" located in Rosemount opened in a small strip and I was very hesitant to try it. I kept thinking to myself "fast food sushi, that can't be quality". Boy was I wrong and I am sure glad we gave them a try. This place is serving up some of the finest cuts of sushi throughout the metro. Cut to perfection, always tastes AND smells fresh. They just prepare their rolls perfectly and my favorite is their signature Fuji Roll - Shrimp tempura, salmon topped w. spicy crab salad & chef special sauce. I have rankings of the places that I've had sushi at on my personal food blog, Gnaw Blog and if you would like to see that list, just message me. In case you're wondering, this place is at #2.

One of our favorite places for dinner. The owners seem to know us when we call, and usually remember to recommend our favorites if we forget to order them. My daughter and I love the Passion Roll. Definitely recommend this place... Prices are very reasonable compared to other sushi places (especially those downtown).

There is not a lot of seating, and I am aways a little hesitant about strip malls. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Nice surprise.

I think I have been spoiled by Kamis and Osaka because the steak and chicken from the Hibachi here is not that great. I did delivery several times from here and the portion size is ok but not worth the money for the quality of food. Steak is never cooked the way we order it and the chicken is dry. I wish they had Hibachi noodles as an option with the meal. Staff is friendly however and always accommodates us with any requests.

Really great food! Quick service, friendly atmosphere, and clean environment. Very affordable with the options listed. Very small, but impactful!

Being from California, I may be a bit of a sushi snob but I've lived here for 10 years so I'm used to MN sushi now. Boy, was I excited about sushi coming to Rosemount! I was very impressed with Fuji. Everything was fresh and the seafood is flown in from Japan. What I really enjoyed was the young lady working the front, she was so nice and excellent at customer service and relationship building. I told her we'd be back every week and I certainly will when I can. The downfalls are, it's take out, no bathroom and only two tables right now, however once you embrace the idea of takeout sushi, I think we'll find it to be quite successful in this area! I'll be back soon!

Have tried it 3 times now and it hasn't disappointed. My 7 year old is now requesting sushi about every meal and with this place being less than a mile away is the quick way to satisfy him. Have done the habachi grill a couple times and Yaki soba. Both good, love the grilled veggies. The thing I crave the most here and it's so simple, but the sauce on the fried rice. Funny thing is that I got it tonight, but didn't eat it because I wanted it all by itself for lunch tomorrow. I'll try some more sushi in the future for review.

I am reviewing this as a take out Japanese Restaurant. This isn't downtown so I am not rating it against them. That being said, if you don't need the show, this is the place to go. We eat a lot of sushi! I am ridiculous when it comes to sushi, I want it a couple times a week...if hubby were game we would be having it more. I think I have gone to just about all the sushi places in MSP and while there are some absolutely amazing places up there, they come with an amazing check as well. Who can beat 3 rolls for 8.95 for lunch?!? Bento boxes STUFFED to the brims for less than $10? Sign me up! I always order way way way to much because I am "starving", and this is the one place that I don't go into shock when I see the bill. My husband, son and I all went, stuffed ourselves on sushi and ordered bentos (which remained untouched and had to be boxed to take home) and it was under $60! When we go to Hibachi places, $60 usually covers JUST the sushi! So much food!!!!! And the quality is there, which is amazing! I love that great places like this are popping up in "strip mall" locations, over head is cheap and they can keep their prices down while keeping the quality. Rolls are great. I know someone said something about the size of the rolls, I have lived in Japan and the rolls over there aren't massive Americanized rolls. You should be able to eat a piece of sushi in one bite, without looking like a squirrel with your cheeks puffed out. This is pretty authentic. I think they are perfectly sized, and remember...you aren't paying $10 for a simple roll here like other places. Ok, pregnant lady rant over, GO TRY this place, it is great! Staff is great! I gotta wrap this up so I can devour my sushi now ;).

CA rolls clearly came from Cub Foods, bento box was not in a box & was bland and microwaved. Miso soup was cool in temp, tasted like nothing, and tuna and unagi....edible, but NOT worth it. The super positive reviews are, I think, ringers. I was hoping for something good in Rosemount, but this place is not good.

We were actually one of the first people to eat at this restaurant when it opened, and have been back 3 times since. We have tried a variety of the sushi rolls and also the chicken teriyaki, gyoza and edamame. Overall the food is pretty good. The chicken teriyaki was extremely dry, but had decent flavor. My wife and I both love the sweet potato rolls. The rolls do tend to be a bit on the small side, and they kind of skimp you on wasabi. This place has a few tables for dine in, but is largely intended for take out. If you call to place your order and they tell you 15-20 mins, I recommend you show up about 25-30 mins later, as they are rather slow. In the 4 times I've been there, I don't think their estimate for my food has been right even once, usually 5-10 mins late. They're very nice people, and have given me free appetizers a couple of times. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes sushi. They're about on par with Kyoto in Eagan, and definitely a step up from the sushi at Thomson Reuters where I work or the stuff at Byerly's. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your order and order a lil bit more than you might would normally elsewhere.

This small restaurant is great for takeout hibachi/sushi. The food is fresh, rolls are great and the customer service is helpful. The prices are reasonable, especially at lunch time. I have ordered delivery and they are always prompt. Great little place for some asian food in a smaller town like Rosemount.

They now have a great website, offer delivery, AND online ordering. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better...they dial it up a notch.

Got the tuna tataki and loved it. Some friends got bento boxes. They cost about $9 each. They were PACKED with delicious looking foods. They both loved it. We ate there. They have 2 x 4 person tables. So not a lot of seating. But they do takeout! Overall this place rocks!

I was excited for a new sushi place in town was surprised to find out its pretty much takeout only. Prices or so so especially since you aren't sitting down to eat. I honestly wasn't impressed and they sure made small rolls with not much meat. I'm going to stick with stopping at Kikugawa DT before getting on the bus and bringing that home.

This place is a gem in Rosemount. They have great lunch options, and I've had a variety of things off the menu - everything has been excellent. Very impressed - support this business!

This is an excellent place to get good take out sushi! My husband and I have been eating here since they opened, and the friendly staff remembers us and is always ready to recommend something new. The angry dragon rolls are insane. I don't like fish or seafood, but I started with tempura chicken rolls and they converted me! Our kids like the friend rice with yum yum sauce, and the bento/ hibachi meals are a good deal, but the specialty rolls are what keeps bringing us back!!

I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box today..The fried rice was good. The small salad with "their" dressing is Good. The California rolls (4) were ok, plain as any other California roll. 2 small fried spring rolls were plain. Miso Soup, I have consumed twice and both times I was left thinking why even waste their time adding it to their entree's, it's boring! the taste is fine but, I would rather skip it. Plenty of Food for the price..Sushi Bar Lunch, Any 3 Rolls..I ordered-Shrimp Asparagus, Spicy Crab and Spicy Shrimp out of the selection of 20 different choice's. The Roll size is fine, you end up with 8 pieces of Sushi from each roll. My favorite of the 3 was the Shrimp Asparagus, that will be a repeater for me. The Spicy Crab and Spicy Shrimp were fine just to close to the same thing, was hard to tell the difference between them.

Very good! Tried the passion roll and rainbow roll. Fresh and beautiful. Also, the Yaki Uden had exceptional veggies (asparagus, mushrooms and more). Definitely adding this place to our take out rotation.

Highly recommend this place. Sushi was delicious and very fresh. Not a lot of space for dining in. We will be back every other day. Great value too.
