I was going to leave a 4 star review, but there's no reason why it shouldn't be 5 stars. This place is an absolute no-brainer for lunch. Today the missus had a shrimp tempura bento box and I had a 3 roll lunch special with yellowtail, spicy salmon and shrimp tempura. The bento box was already full and came with a small side salad and miso soup on the side. Almost everything was fried, but her tempura and fried vegetables had a satisfying crunch to them. No soggy-fried food here! Also came with 4 rolls (California or New York, don't remember). Only 7.95 for the bento box! My yellowtail (raw) maki rolls were wonderful. The fish tasted and smelled fresh. The spicy salmon rolls weren't the best ever, but still fresh and tasty, and the shrimp tempura rolls were excellent. Only 8.95. If you walk into Cub you can get an 8 pc sushi tray from the deli for about $8, so this is far and away an amazing deal. I am conscientious of price and quality. While I digress their miso soup is fairly bland, and my spicy salmon rolls didn't knock my socks off, the overall quality is great and the price point can't be beat. The raw rolls I had (where quality ingredients are most important) were fantastic and I highly recommend this little spot to anyone. We will definitely be back for more.
Love that they deliver. Good sushi that is fairly priced. I had their sushi/sashimi entree which came with miso soup and a side salad. All of the sushi was fresh, miso soup was just right, and the ginger dressing for the salad was perfect. Highly recommend to anyone in the south suburbs looking for their sushi fix! Delivery is also super fast!
This small "hole-in-the-wall" located in Rosemount opened in a small strip and I was very hesitant to try it. I kept thinking to myself "fast food sushi, that can't be quality". Boy was I wrong and I am sure glad we gave them a try. This place is serving up some of the finest cuts of sushi throughout the metro. Cut to perfection, always tastes AND smells fresh. They just prepare their rolls perfectly and my favorite is their signature Fuji Roll - Shrimp tempura, salmon topped w. spicy crab salad & chef special sauce. I have rankings of the places that I've had sushi at on my personal food blog, Gnaw Blog and if you would like to see that list, just message me. In case you're wondering, this place is at #2.

I have not yet tried the lunch buffet, but I have been here twice for dinner (once for take out and once dining in). I was very impressed both times. My food was made fresh and was delicious! The portions are large. I paid $8.25 for the chicken with broccoli combo. It comes with chicken fried rice, an egg roll, and a can of pop. Each time, I have had enough food for at least 3 meals. I have also tried the cream cheese wontons - They were awesome! The restaurant is not huge, but what you would expect in a strip mall. I expected the service to be horrible when dining in since it seems that everyone was just stopping in to pick up takeout orders, but was pleasantly surprised that the service was not lacking.
It was our Mommy & Matt dinner night out and Matthew who thinks he is Asian of course picked his favorite cuisine ..Chinese! We have been to China Wok a few times and while it isn't the best Chinese I have ever had, it is really good and it is consistent which is hard to find anywhere. Everything always comes out piping hot and fresh, especially their cream cheese wontons..always great. We have tried quite a few things there but our favorite is always beef and broccoli, house fried rice is good but not really my favorite. Service is always fast and friendly. Some of the staff does not speak English, so don't be offended if they don't carry on a conversation with you. My son gives it two thumbs up and I give it. 4 stars. He says that it is "Matthew approved"!
They have greatly improved their consistency from before. 4 stars it is.

For a place with a reputation for good burgers, it took way too long for me to visit this establishment. We visited on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Would have liked a booth, but the first thing that was open was a table and we took it. The place was filled with all types, from old ladies to younger guys. The atmosphere was your typical small town bar atmosphere. The service was great. Friendly and prompt. The menus had the typical bar fare, but that's what I came there for. No kids menu, which was too bad, but I can't blame them since...well, they are a bar. I ordered a Summit Pale Ale and the bacon cheeseburger with fried onions (Swanee Burger) and fries on the side. The pale ale was served in glass you don't usually see at a bar, and the "incorrect" class for a pale ale, it was tall and skinny and seemed smaller than a pint. Not a big deal, unless you're a beer snob (like I am). The food was served and I noticed immediately the fries had that "homemade" look with the skin still on some of them and were great. The burger was great, well worth it. The bun was perfect, the meat was cooked perfect, the bacon crispy and the fried onions divine. At 1/2 lbs it was a big serving, but I enjoyed eating every last bite. All and all, if you're a burger fan this place is right for you. A very solid four stars from me. Would get up to five stars with a few improvements (beer glasses, kids menu...did I just follow beer with kids menu? Yes I did. Perhaps a little more unique decor too...)...but the best burger joint you'll get off 52!
Best burger I have had in years if not ever. Go there. Get the Swanee Burger. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was only half full. We got a booth immediately and ordered two Swanee Burgers, A basket of fries, a Hot Chocolate and a coffee - all for under $20.00 not including tip. The fries were unremarkable. The Hot Chocolate was powdered but had little marshmallows floating on it which made me smile. The fries were under salted but plentiful. The burgers - oh the burgers. I cannot tell you the bliss we were in eating those hot juicy mountains of meat. The cheese was melted and gooey. The bacon crisp and salty. The fried onions perfect. The blue cheese they put on the side - perfect. An explosion of flavor in my mouth. The burger was so juicy I expected to be covered in grease - we were not. It was so good we went back the next day and got more. That never ever happens. Any time someone asks me where to get a great Cheeseburger - I will now state confidently and with no hesitation "The House of Coates!"
I know you know this place. If you've ever driven south on 52, you've seen it. The giant House of Coates sign is amusing, but one day do yourself a favor and actually stop in to give the place a try. I hate to launch into a cliche about the decency of small town folk, but damn if our waitress wasn't determined to save us money. Having beer? A pitcher will be cheaper if you're having more than one. Getting french fries? A basket will be cheaper than adding an order to each sandwich. A burger, grilled cheese, fries and a pitcher of beer for $20? Very nice. The burger was the real deal. Half a pound, hand formed patty. Good sturdy bun, bacon and fried onions. This burger made Dara Moskowitz's (City Pages, Minnesota Monthly) best burgers in Minnesota list, and as usual, that lady is damn right. The fries were pretty worthless, but if a half pound of ground beef heaven doesn't take care of you, you've got problems. All in all, a great little place. Quit laughing, and drop on in.

The pork had no flavor and the rice and beans tasted just weird. I was excited to have a new restaurant in the area but too bad it was not good.
Really not impressed with the food. Both times my husband and I have been there we were disappointed. The salsa was bland and the food was so-so.
This is a favorite of mine! Ryan and crew are always creating new and different Mexican dishes for your pleasure. Their staff do a great job at being welcoming and provide terrific service! They are always on my short list for lunch and I recommend trying out the daily specials.

The Pickled "Bakon" Martini is one if the best Martini's I've ever had. If you love pickle juice than you will LOVE this drink! Excellent bar food as well. I recommend the cheesy tots!
Good burger for bar food. I ate here on a thursday for lunch. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with waffle fries. The cook likes to really pile up the fries and you get a lot of food on your plate. I asked to have about 1/2 an order of fries because I don't need to eat that many and they gave me about 3/4 of an order. I asked to have them extra crispy, they were a little crispy but could have been in the fried for another minute or so. The burger was good and served medium.
With my girlfriend's family living nearby, and our never-ending desire for burgers as a couple, it was inevitable that we would try this place eventually. I was definitely not disappointed in our decision. From the outside, it looked like a dingy little dive bar that would not have incredible food. Once you actually go inside, it definitely is dive bar-ish but it is actually pretty nice for what at least I expected. The servers/bartenders were all very friendly and definitely added to the experience. We sat down just before a big dinner rush, so they were able to chat more than they probably would have 30-45 minutes later but I am confident they would still have been very friendly. Then the actual burgers. I chose the Blue Blarney burger (a bleu cheese burger) whereas my girlfriend chose the hangover burger. I ended up trying both as she almost never finishes any burger she has, but they were both VERY good. They definitely didn't skimp out on anything and were almost too big to bite into. If you're going for drinks, I cannot speak to the list of what they have. I ordered Coors Light and they had it, and that is the extent of my knowledge. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. I know we will be going back multiple times this summer when were are both back in the area!

Not sure where to go with this review. Haven't brought the pizzas home yet to bake, but past experience with Papa Murphy's leaves me confident that the pizza will be good. Where I'm struggling is with the service. Jared, the supervisor, did great me when I walked in (no other customers were inside)... So that's a good. And he did upsell me from the large to family size, so that's good. But he had a bit of a monotone. He was definitely polite overall and said the right things... I just think he could've tried a bit harder. It's hard to explain... I felt he could have made my ordering process a little bit easier and peppier. This all set I actually change my rating from a 3 to 4 in the process of writing this review... Because I think I may be unfair. I do highly recommend Papa Murphy's pizza... It's very good and reasonable priced and I love the convenience of being able to bake my pizzas at home. And a dessert options look pretty cool too... Tonight we will be trying the s'mores dessert and the cinnamon dessert (I should probably clarify that my daughter and her friends will be trying these desserts... I will be lucky if I get any).
It is a sad day when a take and bake is the best pizza around! We have gone around and tried all the pizza places hoping to find a "go to" for pizza since moving to the area and this is where we 9 or of 10 times end up. We almost always get their delight crust (you can get it for ANY pizza if you ask) which is amazing..we are of course New York thin crust style type of pizza people. We have probably tried 90% of the pizzas and can say we haven't had a bad pizza. Our son loves to pick out what toppings we should get and the kid has a knack for it..maybe some day he will have a pie shop? Best part about Papa Murphy's besides the fact that it is sooooo cheap? Never have to worry about cold pizza! You bring it home and bake it to exactly how YOU like it and cut it how YOU like it! Squares anyone?
I must admit, Papa Murphy's is the best pizza place in Rosemount. Prices are good. The thin crust pizza here is decent, although I do like a crispier crust than these. Would recommend for anyone looking for good pizza and patient enough to go get it and bake it themselves.

Prior to coming we read many of the reviews & it was unanimous that 5 stars was in order! Had the Cappelinni Pomodora with Chicken. My Daughter had the mostaccioli and and my Son-In-Law had the Giuseppe Special. All three meals were outstanding as was their homemade Sangria & the bread and oil brought to the table! Topped it off with their tiramisu!
We had a 6:30 reservation and didn't get seated until after 7. The waiter rarely visited our table and seemed bored when he did. My meal came out almost 10 minutes after everyone else's and the chicken parm was very soupy with minimal amounts of chicken. The pasta was good but there was way too much sauce to really enjoy it. The only redeeming quality about this visit is the bread.
Cute little place. Friendly staff. Food was mediocre. Bland sauces including the alfredo, red sauce and carbonara. Very "soupy". Bread was very good. Served warm with an oil mixture which was also bland. Probably won't return for the pasta dishes. Maybe the bread and sangria though :)

Terrible, Terrible, ordered hot roast beef sandwich from online menu, Monday special $7.99 Hot Roast Beef, went to pick up, owner charged me $10, said on menu $7.99, oh we haven't changed price yet, roast beef is too expensive for that price she said, would not give me special price, so I said you would rather now throw out meal, refund my money, get a bad review than to give advertised price? Yep!!!! She said so i left What a way to treat a first time customer!!
Suzie's has been a weekend breakfast favorite for the past few years. If you're looking for a "greasy spoon" type establishment that offers excellent service, reasonable prices, and tasty food then look no further than Suzie's Kitchen. I'd recommend arriving early if you're looking to be seated right away as it can get quite busy.
Sunday mornings are busy. Be patient and be Minnesota nice. Never had a bad meal in this restaurant. The food quality is high. Service is great and price is perfect.

I really like the idea of having a bar connected to a hockey rink. It makes for good entertainment while you are enjoying a cocktail. I just wish I didn't feel like I was paying for drinks at an actual hockey arena. Didn't try the food but it looked like they had some great daily specials. If you like hunting for cougars I think this is a place you would love! Might be a fun place during actual hockey season.
Had a great simple lunch here. Mainstream crowd pleasers and HUGE food...seems like it would be popular in this area of the Cities. We'll go back.
Returned here today after not being here for a year or so and was really impressed. Staff said they are under new management and it was very noticeable. Was served fast and staff was friendly. Had Hawaiin blue marlin as the fresh catch and it was better than some downtown restaurants I've eaten at and it was half the price. I'll definitely be back and bring family and friends.

This location seems to go through the employees very quickly. I frequent this location, but it is very obvious that there is a lack of training going on. The people taking orders are very slow (not by their own fault, just the lack of training) They get very busy on the lunch hour. Food is usual Wendy's quality, but the beans in the chili have been crunchy the last few visits.
