First time here since it opened. I live in Prior Lake, so have passed by it plenty of times. I wouldn't say it's always busy but there does seem to be a steady stream of customers that like this place. Today, we stopped in for breakfast. The Mocha was good but a little tepid. The Mexi Hash was very tasty. While the chorizo seemed a little "hard" like salami, it had a ton of flavor. The Chili Verde sauce on the eggs was just right. The Stuffed French Toast wasn't so much "stuffed" as it was sandwiched, but the cinnamon - pecan middle was perfect - not too sweet and not too much. Also, seems small but a nice touch - I ordered an orange juice and they brought a cold bottle of Odwalla. Not a big deal but what we nice was that they also brought a chilled glass to pour it in to! I liked that! Given that they also serve beer here, it much of a stretch to do and it's nice they offer it. Overall, not bad. We'd probably come back again because it's nice, local, and not crazy busy. The menu items are limited, so check before you go. The staff is very nice, friendly, and not intrusive. Prompt and courteous, it's nice to come to a place where they don't make you feel rushed. They have lunch and dinner here, too - so that will be the next trip back!
With delicious daily specials and this best soup I've ever tasted, Artisan is my favorite place to eat lunch. Their menu has unique and scrumptious choices, my favorites are the sweet potato flatbread and the veggie panini. And don't forget dessert!! The Monster cookies are amazing and they also offer seasonal desserts like lemon bars or pumpkin cake. Their Peanut Butter Pie is like tasting perfection and I don't even LIKE PEANUT BUTTER!
This place is a hidden gem. They make fantastic chef prepared breakfasts, gourmet coffee, and amazing dinners as well. On the weekends they have live music, usually acoustic and vocals. Very cool.

Found this place out in PL, and I have to say, I want to make it mine. Or ours, if my wife is reading this. $2 drafts and reasonably priced food. Awesome stuff to look at on the walls. It's a cinder block building for cryin out loud. What's not to like about that? I will say that when we went last, they had the stereo tuned to the radio, so we ended up listening to like 10 minutes of commercials for laser hair removal and other noise. If you are going to feature all that sweet memorabilia on the walls, you ought to be playing awesome music all the time, not that common denominator radio crap. Still, we'll be back. A lot.
I'm officially in love with this place. It's a total dive, but definitely clean enough to satisfy a clean freak like myself. Giant ice cold beers. The nachos were fantastic. Live band was amazing. I couldn't even wait to get home to write this because I'm so happy about finding this place in our new neighborhood.
I showed up to the Cove around 9pm on a Saturday night. The live band was just starting and the place was hopping. It was weird at first since I hadn't visited this place but once since it was Laker's Restaurant in the 80's and 90's. There have been a few business in here since but this one actually seems like it is built to last. A few of the highlights: -Dive bar without being grimy or slummy -Hip music club without being pretentious -Fun menu that matches the music theme. Some of the best burgers around -Reasonable prices -Friendly wait staff -Pick up bait next door in the morning before heading out to the lake and come here for a burger and brew after coming off the lake. -A definite asset to Prior Lake.

Theresa's Mexican Restaurant in Savage has become one of our favorite places. They restaurant has enough seating to handle the bustling crowd. They often follow you right to your table with yummy chips and salsa. They are generous with the salsa bowls, so you don't have to worry about double-dipping by your table mates. The portions are generous and the food service is generally speedy. However, you do usually have to ask several times if you order anything extra (side of sour cream, etc). I like the Philly Cheese Steak Burrito and also find myself craving their Lindo's Special. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant. The specialty drink portions are also very generous so take a look at the sizing before ordering a large Margarita!

I've been here twice. The service is always top notch. Love the Lamb!!!! I will most definitely be back as often as I can.
Our group had a tough experience at Sul Lago this past Friday. Food was hit or miss--don't bother with the flat bread (basically a frozen pizza) or mussels. The croquettes were wonderful. Regarding entrees, the table favorite was the beef tip pasta. The bread was delicious though we questioned why a nice and arguable pricey restaurant didn't offer complimentary bread (especially to a table that dropped serious cash on multiple bottles of wine, apps, and market special entrees)--felt cheap. Service was the real downfall. Half the table got drinks right away, we had to ask someone to take drink orders for the rest of the group. We had to ask for menus. Took a long time for our server to bring back drinks and over 45 minutes for food. After the wait, one person was brought the wrong entree (to which she was allergic and couldn't eat). We got some apologies and they put a new order in; I would have liked a visit and apologies from the manager as well. After the other errors through the night, we wanted to check the bill but weren't able to because it was just a list of prices with no detail about what items were on there and what they cost (on a bill exceeding $500 and had a full 18% gratuity added on). I would never go back to Sul Lago after this experience. Seems most people had a far better time at Sul Lago, so I guess our visit was an anomaly. Like all the other reviews, it is hard to find the restaurant.
The price is way too high for the food here. Location is sub par. Service was only so so. With the prices paid here the environment and services should be much better.

Mystic Steakhouse

Reviews:
Four stars largely based on very low expectations that were exceeded. Manny's it's not, but I was expecting absolute crap and got something a bit better than decent. I;m just not a buffet guy so I can't compare it to the other Mystic option, but I got a fine surf and turf and did not break the bank. Supper club quality is what I'd give it and that's far more than I expected as a captive audience.
Spotted Mystic Steakhouse when they first announced alcoholic beverages were becoming available. Food was average and service was poor. Now that alcohol is throughout the Casino there is no reason to visit the Steakhouse. The Mystic buffet on the other hand is one of the best buffets in the metro and I highly recommend, especially the dessert (and chicken wild rice soup)
I really didn't expect great food at a casino steak house. I was shocked! I had the prime rib and it was delicious! ( water tasted like smoke, but what do you expect at smoking casino) Great food, great server.!

This is one of the best places in Prior Lake to go have a drink , relax and grab a great meal. The servers are always friendly and the beer cold. The food is also excellent. I have been here several time and have had the sandwiches and the steaks and fish everything is awesome. I love their home made chips yummy just right! The Ruben is to die for so is the Cole slaw (it's fresh made too). OK I need to stop because I am making myself hungry. Lol. Just go try it you will love it.
Fun local destination but nothing special. It has a lot of regulars which i believe are what keeps it a float. The food is average, and so is the service. Very typical small town bar feel. I will say that karaoke is always a good time though.
Food is always good. They have been a little skimpy on the sides as of late. Unless you are there during prime time the food always seems to take to long. The waitress seems overworked but super friendly. Might not want to take the kids there to late in the evening....gets a tad barish(is that a word). Food good. Price not to bad. Atmosphere just ok.

We were on our way to a Labor Day weekend wedding in Rapid City,SD...(who gets married on Labor Day weekend?..but I digress...) Stopped for lunch at The Pointe. The front of the building is being remodeled so there was no signage except for a small sign on the side door that said OPEN...we entered and sat at a table near the horseshoe-shaped bar. This place was huge and the decor was industrial...black and galvanized aluminum...very NYC. The server, Jacqueline, was friendly and knew the menu well; she made suggestions as we pondered what to order...even mentioned the size of the servings. My sister-in-law and I had a Bloody Mary & a snit... (I think it was Sedaris who said,"Tomato juice without the benefit of vodka is a total waste of time.") This drink was amazing...two large chunks of cheese, a hot pepper, a pickle spear, and large olives ...a bourbon -brined slice of bacon wrapped around a skewer and grilled...What a great presentation! Then we met Andrew, the chef who let us sample his garlic-infused vodka concoction to be used in future Bloodly Mary's. We decided on the half turkey bacon avocado sandwich and chicken wild rice soup. Delicious! I envy you Prior Lake people to have this establishment in your backyard...it features music, bingo, and the entire front area for family dining which can be reserved for parties, meetings, wedding receptions, etc.I think we might have to stop on our way back home so I can try the pulled pork or the Reuben....and of course, another Bloody M!
Been here three or four times since open. Friendly service, excellent soups and sandwiches, and nicely remodeled. Will absolutely be back. Want to check out some of the bands as well. Nice job!
We love The Pointe! The food is always amazing, the best burgers around. The waffle fries and seasoned sour cream are a must have. They can get busy on weekends, but it's a great place to watch sports with their huge screen tv. The wait staff is sometimes overwhelmed, but they are always apologetic and trying their hardest to make you happy. Their Bloody Mary's are really good, almost a meal on their own! The food keeps us coming back! Keep up the good work!!

The sauces they use do not taste Asian! They are heavy and thick. I am not sure what I was tasting. It tasted like a heavy Worcestershire sauce, yuck. My daughter was really displeased. I tried Wong's a few years ago and then it was not good. It is NOT like the food at David Fongs in Bloomington. I would not recommend Fong's in Prior Lake. The Restaurant is clean and appealing but the food needs help so it tastes more like Asian food.
Lousy. Bland non-Asian tasting food. Avoid this place
I was really craving so good Asian cuisine so I went the Fongs. Getting food from this place was the worst thing I could have done. Don't eat here if your hungry because it will ruin your appetite. I ordered the wings and they were poorly seasoned and cold. The fried rice was rice and soy sauce. If you want authentic this is not the place to go.

We went here because one of my group had good review. I wonder if we had the correct Correct place It definitely was not the Mexican restaurant that we were led to believe it was to be my taco shell tasted of more like a cracker then a tortia the flavor was bland very little lettuce definitely not someplace I would return too
Okay I just finished eating one quarter of the flaming burrito and I'm stuffed and I have lunch and dinner for tomorrow. I will be back for more. Downside the menu is so big it took me extra extra time to figure out what to order.
I have never been to a restaurant that so blatantly served frozen, reheated, microwaved food. There was literally a pool of water on top of our enchiladas. Enchiladas. Water. The last time I checked, enchiladas weren't blanched, boiled, or meant to have anything to do with water. Not to mention the real giveaway; the inside was ice cold with a pretty hot, disgusting excuse for "cheese" exterior. I'd head to Chipotle for margaritas and fresher tasting food any day before ever stepping foot near here again. How can a restaurant fail at salsa, let alone guacamole, so miserably!? Simple recipes, utter fail. I'm also not impressed by the use of Spanish words here and there on the part of the wait staff, when paired with senseless conjugations, as if to give an authentic experience. Nice try!
