Best restaurant in this town hands down. Great steaks, decent burgers and really friendly service. If you're in the Princeton area and want a really good meal, this is the place to go. Sure there are some fast food places and some bars in this town that offer good bar food, but if you're looking for a real good dinner, this is the place to go.
Amazing! I have eaten here, thrown a work party here and have had Stevens cater an event at my office and there is no family owned and operated restaurant and catering company that is better.
We came in here today because of the positive reviews on yelp and I can say that we were not disappointed. The servers were very friendly and inviting, they had a (small but) great selection of beer available and the menu was nice and simple with a great selection. I got the bourbon steak, my wife got the steak medallions and my mother-in-law had the chicken parmesan. Each meal was perfect! If you find yourself in this small town in the great north, you would be doing yourself a great service having dinner here. Just make sure to call ahead.. If it's a slow night, they aren't likely to wait up for you.

Boy, was this unexpected! A little place inside a mall on the main drag in Princeton. Went for lunch and had the buffet ($7.50). Salad bar with lots of fixings, soup, lasagna, chicken, pizza, spaghetti and more. I was full before I could try everything. Everything I tried was very good. This will become a regular spot for lunch when I'm in town. I would have given 5 stars but they ran out of chicken and it took quite a while before they had more out. (I'm a tough grader) Good Food! Great Value!
Although the location moved since I last went it is still the same to me. For most they won't remember it use to be in one mall down the street. The food is just as I remember it. What an excellent value. I have yet since highschool to find anyone who makes a mean taco or cheeseburger pizza like they do. YUM YUM! Must stop everytime I come to MN!
Love the Pizza Barn. Service isn't always the best but they have great pizza!

This is a great local place to eat. They have been in business forever and it has always been family run. The food is good basic fare at an OK price. Do not expect anything fancy here. FYI it can be very busy for breakfast on the weekends.
I am not a townie, but the townies freaking love this place. It has the small-town dinner feel. The food is really pretty good and you can't beat the prices. Considering the downtown area of Princeton doesn't have a ton of choices, I would consider this a repeat spot to eat at.
A late breakfast stop for Mrs. Carnivore and me, while out on an adventure, K-Bob Cafe was a great little stop. After the brief confusion over waiting to be seated or seating ourselves, we found a booth, and Deb took care of us. Sadly, the rolls everyone seems to love were sold out by the time we arrived, but other menu items were not. Mrs, Carnivore had a chicken strip BLT with a touch too much mayo, and a bun that had more grains in it than she was expecting, but overall, she enjoyed her meal. I decided it wasn't quite lunchtime yet, and ordered a proper breakfast. My eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancake were all delightful, and though we had to go through a second effort on my breakfast steaks due to an overcooking incident, steaks #3 and 4 were just what the Carnivore needed to kick off his afternoon. The Carnivore also acknowledges that "breakfast steaks" are very difficult to cook rare, and in no way holds this against the kitchen or wait staff. A special note about the pancake. I have consumed enough pancakes in my lifetime to feed most of the people who have died of starvation. That said, rarely do I cross paths with pancakes worthy of mentioning, but this establishment is on that short list. The flavor and texture were nearly perfect, and though Princeton is nowhere near anywhere I normally go, I am already looking forward to my next trip to K-Bob. Also, starving people should probably eat pancakes with me. Not only will the Carnivore happily return to this establishment, he wholeheartedly recommends it to the hungry masses. After all, according to some seriously twisted reasoning, pancakes save lives. The pancake you eat here, may well prevent starvation elsewhere. Eat pancakes to end world hunger!!!

Not closed, still open. Many food choices I was surprised. Friendly waitress and bar tenders at least when I went last night. Karaoke on Friday nights, not many singers.

If you are looking for a fancy steak house this isn't the place, but the food is actually decent. The steak is good, and they have an all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar has your typical selections, but offers a few hot items as well like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and homemade soup. As for the steak, they have your sirloin, t-bone, rib eye, and prime rib. You also have the choice of chicken, pork chops, shrimp, fish, and crab. I like their steak beause they don't over season it or mask the taste. Can't say its the best steak I have ever eaten, but it is good and reasonably priced. I have spent alot more at other places that wasn't as good.
Some of the worst food i have ever eaten, hands down. Wouldnt tell anyone to go there.
Food is ok. Service is good. The place doesn't seem very clean

We just left the restaurant and had the worst service we've ever had at any restaurant! The place was dead in there but it still took 40 minutes to get our food because she forgot to place our order, she never checked in at our table and after almost 20 minutes of waiting for a refill we just tracked down the waitress to get our check. We will never go back.
Truly shocked by the earlier good reviews! Went within a few weeks of them opening, unorganized, food seemed out of a can, didn't seem fresh! Figured we would give it another try since it was new. Went months later to be greeted by whom we were told was the owner. She was wearing an old dirty sweatshirt and jeans, looked like she just came in from working in the yard. Unfriendly and truly just from looking at her didn't want to eat the food. Ordered just chips and salsa and drinks. Margaritas were HORRIBLE and were billed $18 for the large margarita..... this is NOT some fancy restaurant in the cities, nor was it top shelf tequila.. CRAZY. Have not and will not return.
Authentic Mexican with good service and nice decor.

The food was good but I don't think it was worth waiting 15 minutes for. Also, it's not the cheapest in town. Boring atmosphere and employees don't look happy to be there.
This is BY FAR the worst DQ I have ever been too. Being that I have previously worked at a DQ I know the procedures and how things should be done. There was one other car in front of me in the drive through, and I still had a 20 minute wait. On top of that I specifically asked if I could get fresh gravy for my chicken strip basket because every time I have gotten gravy it is dry, and nasty. After I finally got my chicken strips I looked at the gravy and it was exactly the same as it has previously been. When I went to eat the toast that comes with the basket only one side of the toast was toasted. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. I highly suggest that the owners need to pull their heads out of their butt and learn how to run a business.
Low expectations would be too high for this DQ. If your looking for a quick treat after an evening activity with the fam this is not the place for you. In fact, this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. We were treated to flooded bathrooms, sticky counters, and a 60 min wait (after we ordered) paired with a dollop of attitude to go with our 4 out of 5 melted and incorrectly made treats. On top of that the workers locked both exit doors so the 18 customers that were also waiting for their orders couldn't exit the building with out first yelling behind the counter for one of the 5 teenage workers to find the on duty teenage manager to come and unlock the door so that people could leave. In defense of the teenage worker bees, evidently they were told to lock the doors at 9pm by their non-present store manager. Never mind the customers safety, firecodes or the fact that the door didn't have an emergency exit latch; it's better to ensure you can get off your shift on time than to provide a safe environment and good customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding the DQ in Princeton, MN until they make some drastic changes.

Me and another guy waiting for our food to be cooked watched the "chef" drop the mustard bottle on the make line on the floor and it rolled across the back area. He bent over and brushed it off and set it back on the make line. This place is so disgusting. Someone is going to get sick. I will never set foot here again.
