Stopped through Nevis today on a drive out to lake country and boy were we amazed with the burgers we got! We saw the Iron Horse as I was trolling through Yelp the night before, knowing we'd be hungry and looking for a good burger and fries...definitely a place not to be missed! There's nothing really fancy about the Iron Horse, but that's totally fine. We weren't looking for fancy. Just really good food. We both had burgers -- a plane hamburger for my wife and the Rodeo burger for me (bacon, onion petals, sharp cheddar, and BBQ sauce). Delicious! The fries were also great. Well seasoned and crunchy! They also have a large selection of domestic and specialty beers, if you're in the mood for something to drink; and lost of other sandwiches and wraps too. Don't drive by the Iron Horse and miss out on some tasty burgers!

Sports bar meets north woods-a fun atmosphere. More than a basic bar & grill menu, with wraps, salads, etc. food was good and delivered almost before we ordered, although we were ahead of the dinner crowd & it wasn't busy. I would go back.

Pretty good overall for what it is....but didn't do anything that makes you say WOW...just standard food and good enough service. The one disappointment was the loaded fries - I think they were like $7 and something they could have done well, anyway it was a handful of fries with cheese sauce, bacon bits, and a few raw onions.....very underwhelming.

Wow! New ownership has done this local watering hole wonders! Stopped in with the family on sat afternoon. The menu looked amazing and even better was the value! We were eating a late lunch so just got a few apps; FANTASTIC! Love my little home away from home town and so glad we finally have a place to grab a good, reasonably priced, bite to eat! I will def be a frequent flyer :)

The new menu is amazing! We ordered the deep fried pickles for an appetizer, let's talk about a crazy twist on simple dish! The raspberry chicken sandwich was to die for. My friend had the brisket philly which she loved. This place has classic items and new items which is what this area needs! The staff was very friendly.

Friendly service and cold beer, a game of poker in the background and locals talking about how fun karaoke was the night before. Loved the spirit. A great local spot!
