The food we were served is absolutely amazing. Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice were incredible. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind

Love this place! In the past week, my husband and I have ordered take out for dinner from Jade Palace and we also tried out their lunch combo. Each time the food was delicious! When we placed the order for pick up, the food was ready at the time that we were told. When we ate in for lunch, the service was very fast and you get a very good portion for your money. I feel like the pricing is right on and what I'd expect to pay at a nicer Chinese restaurant such as this one. In addition, our server, who was the owner, was very friendly. I highly recommend Jade Palace and am glad that we now have another good food option in the Mound area!

Finally, good Asian food in Mound!!! We just had a great dinner of Moo Shu vegetable, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Fried rice. Everything was very flavorful and well prepared. The Mongolian Beef was definitely made with tenderloin and the Kung Pao was just spicy enough. It could use a few more peanuts but that would be nit picking. The Moo Shu vegetable was great and served with pancakes that don't fall apart at the first bite. All in all, I'm excited that I no longer need to drive to Golden Valley for good Asian food. Thanks and see you soon for lunch!

Fantastic! My boyfriend and I tried this place today for our lunch break and it was well worth it! We ordered the Schezuan Tofu and it was delicious. Huge portions and excellent staff. While most people take their orders to go, the dining room was very updated and clean. It looked like a sit down restaurant which most people may not assume. We will be returning frequently! -Anna

Went here again today for the 2nd time in two weeks after a friend recommended it. Great food, friendly staff and very quick/convenient for take-out. Will definitely go back.

My husband, two kids and I stopped in there last night. The food was fantastic, and so was the service. I had the Sesame Chicken, and it was wonderful. My husband had the Kung Pao which was equally good. My kids, 4 and 6, shared a Lemon Chicken, and they finished all of theirs and what my husband and I couldn't finish. It was a hit. I agree with the one reviewer on one point, don't underestimate the power of word of mouth. I will be telling everyone I know to try this place when they are in Mound.

Had take out here twice now once at lunch and once for dinner. Both times everything was great. We tried the vegetable Lo Mein, Kung Pao Beef, Sesame Chicken and Cream Cheese Puffs. All was good but our my favorite was the Kung Pao Beef. Service is quick and very friendly.

We ordered take out from here tonight, had the general chicken, moo goo gai pan, and cream cheese wontons. Order was ready in 15 minutes, everything was very good. There was a cup of wasabi sauce in the bag, Best... Stuff... Ever! We will definitely return to eat another day. Wife says that she would love fresh spring rolls added to the menu.

This place is a joke and is barely 1 star! We wanted to try this place for the 1st time last night and were excited for a new Chinese place in the area. NOT! WAY over priced, can't speak or understand English, can't make fried rice without soy sauce (WHAT. WHY?). We placed a phone order for pick up, an order of peking chicken that was way to bready, egg drop soup and veggie fried rice/no soy sauce (gluten free). The guy that took the order, never told me that they can't make fried rice without soy sauce. He said about 25 minutes, my husband went to pick up, he waited another 20 minutes (What. Why?). Then we opened the bag, and the fried rice... DARK brown... loaded with soy sauce! I called and the guy says, you only said no soy sauce in the egg drop soup, no baby corns in the fried rice... I said no, I wouldn't order my food like that, being gluten free I always order Chinese food without soy sauce. So he wanted to argue with me. In the meantime my husband went back up there, because the guy said they would have a new order of fried rice for me. He gets up there, and was then told they can't make fried rice without soy sauce. WHAT. THE. HECK. And because nobody there could speak or understand good English and there was over 10 people waiting for their orders, he left, upset and NO new rice. So I ended up eating the plain white rice that came with the peking chicken and my husband ate the wrong rice... that was WAY to oily. Oh and after all the rigmarole we had to reheat everything! $20 plus and 1/2 of what I got... not what I ordered I couldn't eat. Their money would be better spent on accommodating super easy special requests instead of a 4 panel multi color menu. I don't care if this place is new, only 1/2 a mile from home, the new owner was in the restaurant business previously... gluten free requests this day and age are not that unheard of... GET WITH THE PROGRAM... everything on the menu is over priced by 2-3 dollars, the wait time for an asian food pick up order is outrageous compared to Asian Bistro which is right down the road. From now on, I'll pick Asian Bistro... I know they will make a gluten free meal without a problem, for a good price, within 10-15 mins and it's ready when I get there to pick it up. Word to the restaurant wise, out here... don't take the peeps in the subs for granted... not everyone is easy going and word travels fast in a small town. We'll tell our friends, completely disapointed and we won't be back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
