Was treated to Sarello's by family who live in the area. We arrived at the restaurant after dark, and it is rather dimly lit. I was glad family was driving, might have missed it. As we entered, it felt like someone's living room. For a Wednesday night, very busy and convivial. The dining room was on the other side of a wall and pleasant but modest. What made the night was our server, Steve. Since I knocked my wine glass over (full of wine) when he brought me the replacement, he placed it as far away from me as possible. I laughed at that. I had one of the specials, which was delicious. Also had carrot soup - just right with a touch of curry. The restroom situation needs decorator attention. The room (ladies) itself was just fine but the hallway I waited in was right out of the catacombs. Only blip in the evening. Nick S. is right - I'm a loyalist to Sarello's.

Went to Sarellos to celebrate Christmas with my roommate. Neither he nor I had been before and it was a very pleasant experience. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! The food was expensive but that was expected. We started with a nice bottle of Malbec and red curry scallops which was my absolute favorite part of the meal - they were FABULOUS and highly recommend this appetizer! We both had the lobster ravioli.. the ravioli filling was nice. We both agreed it was nice that the filling and the sauce was delicious but lighter feeling than most cream sauces (in a good way!) We ended on orange sorbet which was nothing special.. I would skip that. All in all it was a wonderful experience! I would go back. It is fresh, filling, and tasty. I can't stop thinking about those scallops though- YUMm!

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing! I love the scallops and the amazing sea bass. I like seafood but hadn't had sea bass before and took the advise to try I was so glad I did. I'm terrified to ever have anyone else's because I'm sure it won't be as good. I like how they add in a few different items periodically throughout the year as well to mix up the selection.

So, we came here after wanting to for YEARS. We had no reservation. No problem! they were very accommodating. The service was adequate. not bad, but not memorable either. The prices are fine dining level, and a la carte. Again, expected. The food, however, was just, so-so. One would think that a fine dining/Italian place would use fresh made pasta. Nope. The rolls were fairly bland.(not done really) The decor was bland. (really lousy art) Bland. Bland. Blaaaaaand. When they were the just one of a few fine dining options in the area, this could have gotten them by. Was full of the elderly, but they like Golden Corral too, so there is that... There are far better places to spend your money, and get a better meal. So, to sum up: Bland food for high prices in a dull setting.

About as good as it gets for fine dining in the Fargo Morehead area. Great wine selection, very unique menu and incredible service. Not the cheapest place in town, but the experience is worth it. My family has been going here for years, and we will certainly continue.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
