This is the BEST Grand Junction in the Fargo-Moorhead area. They have the best customer service, the best line setup and they have make the best fries. I tell everyone who wants a delicious lunch to try this place. The price doesn't break the bank, but you get a whole lot of fresh food for what you pay. If you or someone in your group is vegetarian, they have an amazing veggie supreme sandwich and everything else - so groups can easily find a little something for everyone. Be prepared to wait during the busy hours (11:45 - 1:00 and 5:00-6:30), but the longest I have ever stood there is 10 minutes, so a little patience pays off when you bite into that delicious hot sub. Personal favorite - The Cajun Chicken Ranch, yum!

This was a must stop while up in Moorhead. The woman was going on and on about how great the sandwiches were and how this place was almost worth the 3 hour drive alone. So, we swing through for lunch to get this out of the way. Lets start with the "ambiance" of the place. It's a flat top sandwich place with college kids grilling up sandwiches. It's not glamorous, it's not subway, and it has a strange smell. Stroll in, menu is on the wall. I opt for the bbq chicken sandwich, while Ashley opts for the sandwich that got her through school, the cajun ranch. We split an order of fries because apparently they're gigantic. Take up a seat and wait. And wait, and wait. Finally, after a solid wait, things are ready. Lets say the wait was worth it. These things won't win a beauty contest as the presentation goes as far as making them fit in a paper tray. They won't win any awards for a complex flavor profile, but, ya know what, they're damn good. Mine was sweeter with a bit of bite to it thanks to the bbq. Chicken was grilled up nicely and wasn't some haggard, chopped bunch of poo. But, some solid strips cut down and fried nicely. Veggies were crisp and not soggy. Cheese, perfectly melted in and oh so perfect. Fries were amazing. Hand cut, lightly salted and you get a ton of them. Be warned, sharing is required. I ate the rest of her sandwich and it was damn nice. Perfectly spicy from the cajun seasoning, but the ranch it comes with provides that required and perfect cooling compliment. All in all, a place that lived up to the hype. If you're in Moorhead for whatever reason and need a sandwich, swing through.

Definitely a bomb sandwich. I recently ordered the philly, although I had heard it can be dry. I thought mine was pretty saucey and super delicious. The chicken ones are great too. Love the fries too. I wish they added that yummy cajun season to those fries- that would be mind blowing. I order the medium and I couldn't even finish it- so much food. The staff is fast and nice. The place could be a little cleaner, but it's more of a truckhe chicken ones are great too. Definitely will be back when I am back in town.

Grand Junction is one of my very favorite restaurants, and the Moorhead store is my favorite of all the F-M locations. This store may be the smallest and least fancy location, but it has the most charm, in my book! They always have a very friendly and capable staff, everything is fresh & made-to-order (they have never once screwed up my picky "no-mayo, anti-vegetable, hold-the-whatever" requests!) I simply cannot leave there without consuming 3 giant potatoes' worth of their hand-cut fries (LOVE) and am addicted to their Chicken Cordon Bleu sub. My kids love it too (they have great kids meals, though my kids tend to order a medium special and split it between them). We can feed our entire family of 5 for a very fair price!

The subs are quite yummy. I am not a big lover of french fries but people I go with love the fries here. The line goes quick enough and it doesn't take too long to get the food and the food is always fresh and yummy. The place isn't the newest... it does feel a little dirty, but I think it might just be older, not actually dirty.

This place is the bees knees. Hands down greatest subs I have ever had. The place is run by some oriental people and at first you think why would oriental people know how to make subs...but they do and they are amazing. Their fries are also very good tho place is a must try

The subs are good, but this place is SO filthy I can't give it more than three stars. If I had scrutinized the floors, drink machine, windows, and walls before I got my food, I probably would have walked out. It worried me to think what the kitchen must look like.

It in Moorhead, not dilworth....but anyways this place is amazing. Every time I get back in the area this place is on the top of my list. Love the chicken cordon blue and that's all I have ever had but it seems like everyone I know likes something different. Maybe it's all good? Prolly.

The man and I decided to get take away tonight to let me test out GJ's Cheese Steak since I've been jonesin' for some Woody's from back home. The service was outstanding and the guys working the counter couldn't be any nicer. I ordered the cheese steak and The Man ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich. We also decided to split an order of fries, since The Man was singing their praises so highly. After waiting for the line jumper who stepped in front of us to order and get her take away meal, we got our bag loaded with goodies and headed home; all in under 10 mins. I will say this: this place has excellent potential for being one of my favourite joints if minimal effort were to be applied to two things: one- the fries were hella over cooked; nearly burned to be precise. I am sure GJ's fries are extremely tasty, cause apparently they are hand cut and fried to order, but our order was unfortunately no good. The second issue would be the lack of seasoning to the meat while it is cooking. Now don't get me wrong, the meat GJ's uses is high quality and extremely fresh and that is wonderful-- but I don't know, maybe it is a midwestern thing-- but does everything have to be so bland up here? I'm not talking Louisiana hot, y'all, but a bit of seasoning salt wouldn't hurt things. With that being said, the bread was fantastic, the sauces for the fries were amazing, (honey mustard and ranch-- YUM!) and the cookie we got was the size of our son's head and so fresh you'd think they had a little granny tied up out back churning these puppies out. So, 3.5 with the potential for a 4.5-5. Let's see what you guys can do, GJ. I'll be back. :)
