Not sure if this is the right location, but it looks like it on the map. Driving home to Minneapolis, we stopped here for lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. Waitress was really friendly. The wait might have been a bit long, but the food was good. Fresh pineapple!! The strawberry lemonade was great! We wanted to divide our bill. The guy at the register understood our confusing directions and took care of us. Nice surprise for just pulling in to someplace at random!

A throw back greasy spoon in the very best sense of the phrase. From the super heavy and thick mugs served with your own personal carafe left in your booth for refills, to the over the top breakfast options, this a throwback to yesteryear with yesteryear prices. Eggs, pancakes and sausage for under $5? All fresh, all delicious, all right!

This is a very popular restaurant, especially for breakfast. The portions are sizable and the prices reasonable. They are very busy on Sunday mornings and although they have the space to accommodate lots of people, they aren't always staffed to handle the rush. It took 5 minutes to get coffee after the server took our drink orders. Those who order coffee get their own carafe at the table. It is a kid friendly restaurant -- menu and crayons. The food is decent to good -- homestyle cooking. I suspect the service is normally good. I caught them when they were slammed.

I went with mediocre expectations that I'd enjoy a meal at the typical "breakfast all day" kind of place. The menu that was online showed large meal portions. I ordered the Benedict skillet, and my fiancé ordered some country style platter that had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage. We also ordered a "platter" of chicken tenders. The Benedict skillet was close to half the size as the pictures that I had seen. My poached eggs were cooked wrong, and so incredibly overcooked they were inedible. Her biscuits were hard like they had been made days before. The sausage was very cold as well. Finally the platter of chicken tenders came with, I believe, 9 strips. The picture however had showed maybe 16-20. After my eggs were fixed, my skillet was pretty good, albeit a little cold having to wait for new eggs. The pancakes and chicken were both good as well. The server was not very attentive, although that may not be completely his fault as he was a server for 10-12 tables in the restaurant. Despite having multiple issues with the meal, and having been asked numerous times "how my was today" he seemed to care very little about the problems and made no attempt to reconcile those issues. The restaurant itself did not seem very clean based mostly on the dirty floors I saw on my way to the table. It definitely was great, but maybe another time when more staff would be on that food and service could be better. I don't have any intention to return and will look to try another place next time.

I have been to the Fargo location for breakfast a number of times without incident. The Moorhead locale on a slow Sunday night on the way back from the lake was not our best choice. It seems every one of the staff we encountered wanted to be somewhere else, from the guy who seated us, to our waitress, to the cashier -- and they all need to find a personality along the way. Add to that the waitress forgetting to place the order for two of our sandwiches. For the $50 it cost the three of us, we could have done better elsewhere. So can you.

Love coming here for breakfast when I visit my folks. The prices are right, the service is great, and most important, the food is great. I wish I could make this review more entertaining, but sorry, it's just a good place to eat. Get the big cinnamon roll.

Just tried it for the first time, and it was pretty good. I had the open-faced turkey sandwich, and it was perfect. Tasty gravy, lots of meat, and only $7.95. Would have been I think $2 to add the soup and salad bar, but I skipped that. Very good value and the service is great. Highly recommend.
