I prefer this place over the other national franchise. Their food is super fresh and sometimes right off the grill. I know most of the staff and prefer their Iced Tea Selection.

Was told to try this place because it is better than Chipotle. I ordered the barbacoa bowl. The meat had no flavor at all, tasted like they cooked the meat and put it in the container, no seasoning what so ever. Had three different salsas and the seasoned sour cream. After all of these things on top of the meat was still no flavor. Not impressed at all. Ordered the guacamole with chips and, chips tasted stale and the guacamole had the worst taste ever. I'm sorry but not even close to beating out Chipotle. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone.

The guacamole stinks. Must be from a can. Super salty and not fresh. Chipotle knock off charge same price.

My wife and I eat here at least twice a week and have never been disappointed! I honestly think it's better than chipotle and I love some chipotle! You have to check out the chicken parm! It's one of my favorites! Keep up the good work!

Just like Chipotle, but the meat is less seasoned. I prefer that. Very accommodating staff as I have a daughter with Celiac (gluten free) and they prep her food as needed. Much appreciated! Add the seasoned sour cream to your burrito or bowl if you need a kick.

Love this place! It's bigger than it looks from the street. Like others have said, it is like Chipotle. Walk up and tell them what you'd like and they build your burrito, salad, bowl, etc...You can add rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, onions, green peppers, several different salsas. Their tortilla chips really are addictive and some of the tastiest I've never had. Tuesday is free cookie day. Love that. We will be back and highly recommend. Next time I plan on eating in. It's clean and lots of tables.

First time visit to Bluestone Grill tonight. I am almost obsessed with Chipotle and Bluestone is very similar. The atmosphere was like that of chipotle and Culver's. The staff was very pleasant and most of the ingredients were very fresh. I was very pleased with the service and food. It was maybe a bit more bland than chipotle, as far as spices go, but the burrito I received (with no extras) was larger than that of chipotle. The chips and guac were also very good and I highly recommend them.

It was only ok, I took the advise of other Yelpers on this one. It as stated in other reviews provides a similar Chipotle experience for ordering. The gal at the counter was disinterested in my being there, the Steak was tough and had no seasoning at all. Some may like little to no seasoning where as I prefer a little bolder flavor. I went with their hot sauce to make up for it. Very little heat. I also ordered the chips with the bowl(I like scooping the burrito bowl) and they tasted stale or at least undercooked.

Love this place... I try to stop here when I'm going through Monticello. Just like Chipotle but better favors and bigger portions. I get the Vegetarian Salad loaded with all the goodies... Fajitas, black beans, rice, tomatoes, corn salsa, lettuce, cheese, Sour Cream and Guac for free ( w/Vegetarian). I'd also recommend joining the Loyalty club, get deals every now and then, plus every few visits you et $2 off. :)

Wouldn't know it from the outside, but It's a Mexican place with the same chipotle style. You stand in a line and tell the workers what you'd like on your Mexican food. Decent food, nice staff. I still prefer Chipotle, but Bluestone is a nice, local business.

Similar to Chipotle, but fresher and more personal service. Love their steak, it's always fresh and never over cooked. They cook shrimp to order. Join their loyalty program and get a free entree on your birthday, plus $2 off for every $20 spent.

People may not realize this, but Bluestone is VERY similar to Chipotle. If you like Chipotle, you must try it out. Food is made in front of you and is always fresh. Great tacos, burritos, etc., and the sauces are excellent as well. Clean dining area with several flat screen TVs usually tuned to sporting events. Love this place!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
