Awesome service! Always fast and super hot!
Ordered two large pizzas for the price of one -a deal ending today. I ordered it for carry out and being new to town I parked in the back of the store, called in to ask if I needed to walk around front or if I could use the door I saw employees using out back. Caitlin answered and said she'd meet me outside to bring me into the store. Only a minute later she came out with order and was very pleasant! This was a huge help and she went out of her way to provide awesome customer service. The only reason for a 4 star review is the pepperoni was forgotten on one of my pizzas but it isn't a huge deal to me and I know they would have made it right if I had went back and told them.

Always friendly and food is really good! I found this place about a month ago and have been back 4 times. I've tried several items and not been disappointed. The reuben is out of this world. They serve wine and beer too which is odd for a cafe but they have a good selection. Their desserts are the real feature though. Yum!
Wonderful food, I've had the majority of the items on the menu and each of them has been excellent. Strongly recommend every single one of the pies. The service is also very good, always friendly and helpful.
We had a group of six and came on Veteran's Day. It was still packed with a big lunch crowd at 1:45 PM. They were out of the sweet potato fries but the Reuben was huge and excellent per one of our meat eaters. The vegetarians had a nice veggie sandwich choice and the soup (tomato bisque) was excellent. Two of our group members were veterans and the owner gave each of them a free slice of pie as well as a complimentary slice of turtle cake for one of us that had a birthday (we did show our ID). Shepherd's pie was very good and so was the hot turkey sandwich. I very nice place with great service.

I prefer this place over the other national franchise. Their food is super fresh and sometimes right off the grill. I know most of the staff and prefer their Iced Tea Selection.
Was told to try this place because it is better than Chipotle. I ordered the barbacoa bowl. The meat had no flavor at all, tasted like they cooked the meat and put it in the container, no seasoning what so ever. Had three different salsas and the seasoned sour cream. After all of these things on top of the meat was still no flavor. Not impressed at all. Ordered the guacamole with chips and, chips tasted stale and the guacamole had the worst taste ever. I'm sorry but not even close to beating out Chipotle. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone.
The guacamole stinks. Must be from a can. Super salty and not fresh. Chipotle knock off charge same price.

Pizza Ranch

Reviews:
It's a pizza buffet, it ain't gourmet dining. That said, the pizza is better than you get at many pizza buffets. (Is it any wonder why Cici's Pizza bailed out of MInnesota?) They usually have a great variety to choose from, too, not just a few single-ingredient selections. They have a great selection of sides to go with their chicken, which I appreciate. I have been to this location a few times, and this location is my gold standard for service and selection. I've been to at least four different locations in Minnesota during the past few years, and the Monticello location is my favorite. (Alexandria and Waconia are tied as a close second, New Ulm was a notch below the three of them.)
Went on a Wed. It was a fundraiser for a football team. Lots of young football players running around while a few bussed tables. It was ridiculously loud and obnoxious. Trying to enjoy our meal with that amount of chaos. I blame the supervising adults more than Pizza Ranch. This place does appeal to families with kids so there is a lot of noise. I love kids. I work at a school so I'd like to have a relaxing din din. I need to remember this for next time and go for lunch only. Just bear that in mind if you're looking for a quiet meal.

Beef O’Brady’s

Reviews:
My wife and I ate at Beef O'Brady's with her sister and mother. The food was great! Unique twists on your usual American dishes and a lot of your grill favorites, but done very well. Atmosphere was bar style, very clean, and the service was on par. They do have quite a few tables to sit at that are not high/bar tables. The pickle fries were a fantastic appetizer and come with ranch, not too pickle-y and they have a good selection of food to choose from, and it was fresh and hot, No complaints at all. Will definitely be returning.
Food was nice and HOT when delivered to the table. Server greeted us upon entering the restaurant. She was attentive and friendly. Portions sizes are generous. Recommend onion rings and angus burgers.
Expansive menu. Reasonable prices. Good service. Clean establisment. Good specials. Great beer variety. Fun little game room for the kids. The burgers are fantastic. Nothing to complain about and nothing to write home about, either.

Chin Yuen

Reviews:
I'm in Minnesota visiting from Seattle. Chin Yuen's wontons are easily the best I've ever had. The Midwest has it's own style of Chinese food that you can't get other places. We have amazing authentic Chinese food in Seattle - "Sichuan Cuisine Restaurant" in Chinatown is my favorite. Order the fish soup - but I also love Minnesotan Chinese. I just wish they had the chicken wings with oyster sauce and diced onion I remember from their restaurant in Elk River on highway 10. Favorites are Sichuan chicken and lo mein.
A "Chinese" Restaurant that can't even make a decent Chow Mein I try to stay away from.
Walked in half hour before they closed and the were already closing up. Food was pulled out of display. The look on their faces wasnt happy. Ive been in the industry 23yrs,thats a big no no.

Caribou Coffee

Pretty standard Caribou at the edge of a mall. Sort of an 'L' shape such as those being squeezed into a corner at MOA. Only been here once for a brewed dark roast. Employees seem somewhat distracted because of the heavy drive-through business which always gets priority over walk ins. Parking lot is ample and shared with other businesses, but look carefully at the merging lanes for the exit

Primo Pizza

Reviews:
Horrible service. Was placing an order over the phone and the lady hung up on me while taking my order (did not take address or card number). I called back asking why she hung up and she said she I was done ordering, I asked to speak to the manager so she hung up again. There is Pizza Ranch, Dominos, two Pizza Factories, Fuji's Pizza, and a Pizza Pub that are within 10 minutes of my house. I would think they would want to keep customers. There food isn't anything to write home about, but it is over priced....maybe that is their business plan?
Since I moved here I have been trying to find a decent pizza place. I have come to the conclusion that it is just not possible. Although Primo is a little better than Pizza Ranch and Pizza Factory, it isn't by much. I got the toppings that I ordered and that was the only good part. The crust was tough and elastic. The bottom was so soggy, you couldn't pick it up because everything just slid off. This was because there was way too much sauce on the pizza and it wasn't cooked long enough to crisp up the bottom. Looks like Monticello is doomed to have mediocre pizza. Best advise if you order from here - scrape off the toppings and eat them, the rest is trash.
Awesome! We have been ordering from the Monticello location for years and it is always super good! They also have awesome specials!
