This place rocks....excellent food and beer....and a nice conversion of the old Runnings. Best wishes to the whole Brau Bros crew!

Great unique beer I had the roo moo juice. It was very good. My friend tried the peppermint moo juice which was also tastey. The BBQ pork sandwich was a little dry but good none the less. The staff was very attentive and helpful, letting us sample the beer and explaining the unique fire truck

I will update this review if I ever happen to stop and eat here. This is based solely on a visit while passing through, sampling a few beers and grabbing some merchandise. The staff was super friendly (like everyone else in Minnesota of course). I wasn't aware they were allowed to sample or sell their beer on site. I toured a distillery earlier in the week and they had to charge for samples and couldn't sell their own make. Maybe it's just hard alcohol.....Anywhoooo, we were passing through on a route we just happened to take because of construction and when I realized the big building that said "Brau Bros." on it was the brewery, I knew we had to stop. Anyways, this place is awesome on the inside. Their tap selection is on an old fire truck! I've never seen a taproom as cool as this before. Great selection of beers, I tried the black IPA, a pale ale, and their Belgian wheat. They were all above average. They have some really cool merchandise. Platters, glasses, bottle openers, shirts, polos, hats, you name it. BUT, when I came it was almost entirely picked clean. They only one shirt design they had a large left in. I can wear a large or medium and they had none of either. I hope to stop again once they restock. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in this very unexciting, otherwise unspecial, town of Marshall.

Let's just say this place is awesome!! If you like good beer and food this is the spot me and 2 co workers ate here all had good food and of course the beer was great. Also got a growler to just to have and that was only $15 can't beat it.

I have been here twice now. The first time I ordered food and beer and the second time I just ordered beer. The food was lackluster at best but perhaps it as improved in time but the warm beer on both occasions is absolutely unforgivable. I will not be back until I hear at least rumors that the beer is always served cold.

Visited for a work lunch with colleagues. Fun atmosphere both inside and out in this former big box hardware store space. Because it was a working lunch, no beer (boo hoo) -- a couple of speciality batch beers in addition to their regular beers looked inviting. They've also got homemade soda in several flavors if you're so inclined. Unfortunately, the food needs some more attention. Ordered a fish sandwich and was talked into the side salad (actually I ordered the fish tacos but the server, while earnest, got it wrong for two of us in the party). Side salad was a little tray full of iceberg lettuce from a bag and a half cup of dressing -- unimpressive to the point of embarrassing. Sandwich was poor as well. Others food looked marginally better but, while obviously not the area of emphasis, needs to get upgraded to respectable. Would definitely come back for the beer however.

This is Marshall. I'm impressed. Great beer and a nice food menu. Pho dip sandwich is creative and good. Standard burgers with a twist of local bison. Check it out.

I had a great first experience here !! Opening quirks have been ironed out and they've really hit their stride.

I stopped in for dinner while in town for business. I was looking for a local spot, where I could grab a beer, eat a nice burger and hopefully watch some sports. There didn't seem to be many options, but Brau Bros seemed the most up my alley. And I was right. It wasn't very busy when I first arrived so I had the opportunity to talk to Tony and a couple other employees. They were all very friendly and answered my questions to the best of their ability. I like to learn the history of a place if I find it interesting and find out what the employees like to eat off the menu. They had basketball on the tv above the bar, it was nice to watch the Timberwolves with fans. I ended up getting a burger and fries. It was pretty good. I mean, I ate the entire thing. It was juicy, hot and dripped with grease. It could have used a little more seasoning, but I'm a stickler for well seasoned meat. The fries were thinner than I expected. The only issue I have with thin fries is that they tend to go cold before I get to them. The atmosphere seemed a little warehousey, I suggested to the bartender that they spray the ceiling and ducts black to help it feel more intimate, but it is after all a brewery. That being said, let's talk beer. I'm not big on hops, to be honest, I'm not big on craft beers in general. You're looking at bottom of the barrel girl, domestic queen. But I didn't try a beer that I didn't like. I told Tony that hops wasn't my friend and he offered me a couple samples to get a feel for the level I was willing to handle. I'll be going back the next time I'm in town, I want to try out their salads next time.

I love the direction Brau Brothers is going! They aren't afraid to try something new. We were able to sample a sour they had brewing in barrels and I was very impressed with it, to the point of loving it. If those come out in bomber bottles, I would definately buy a few.

Stopped out for the HopFest on Saturday...FINALLY making it out to the brewery!! Fantastic joint with great staff!! Love the Lucan Fire Truck that holds the taps!! Love that there is two leather couches just inside the door! The tap room is spacious and comfortable!! Unfortunately I didn't realize they served food, so I can't comment on it...but the menu did sound appetizing!! All the staff were really friendly and informative. The HopFest was.....FANTASTIC!!! Totally enjoyed my trip out to Brau Brothers, thank you!!

For a smaller town-this place would be a hit in the Twin Cities! I was in the area for a meeting and looking for a place to dine that was a sad Standard American restaurant - this place was far more than I expected! Even better, we found out it was the very brewery that makes my partners favorite beer. While I'm more of a wine gal, I was very pleased with the flight of dark brews that arrived at our table. The food was better than average- especially for a town of this size. The burger was good and side salad was spring greens (which I love). My partners Bisson stroganoff wrap was interesting. Wasn't sure what to expect. Good but not exceptional. All in all, it will easily be my favorite place to eat when I come back to the area.

Absolutely fantastic all around. I had a bbq sandwich when I went there and I loved every bite. I also tried the White Cap beer and it was a great tasting beer. The hint of orange in there made it that much better for me. It was a very smooth lite beer that I will definitely get again. If I had been thinking I would have gotten a growler and filled it up with that beer. The service there was great also. They knew their stuff and answered questions that I had. The next time I go the Old 56 was recommended to me along with Moo Joos. So I will have to give them a try.

After my first visit, which was disappointing, I waited almost a year to go back and not much had changed. It is hard to say just how good the beer could be, because at both visits, it was not served cold. On my my first visit, I also was disappointed by the menu and the food, but did not have any the second time. Perhaps this has improved.
