I eat a lot of Indian food, and this place is my new favorite place. Amazing food! Great service and staff. Lots of parking. Easy to find.

We went to have their buffet today and it was pretty decent, unlike a lot of desi buffets in the twin cities where everything tastes exactly the same or has the same exact spices or has been sitting out too long. They had veggie & chicken biryani (both of which were good - not amazing, but good). And I am from a Hyderabadi family so I know my Hydro biryanis- this wasn't bad tasting at all but the spices (ie garam masala) could be turned down a notch. Their naan, gobi Manchurian, sambar, uthappam, vada, chicken 65, channa (although a bit too spicy) were yummy. The butter chicken & goat Chettinadu were mediocre - the goat was very goaty/gamey tasting and chicken had a very chickeny taste. We didn't bother trying the custard dessert and another milk/vermicelli dessert. Their lassi was delicious though and totally hit the spot at the end of the meal (with some delicious naan). Also - to the owners - please clean your carpets.. They were sticky like fly traps!

My wife and I went to this place hoping for a decent biryani as they claimed it as best biryani in the town. As we got our biryani, we found that they have cooked rice and meat separate and just assembled. It was tasteless and bad to say the least. The prawn curry dish we ordered was as baad as you can get. Only good thing was that they dint spoil the naan.

This is by far our favorite Indian buffet. Great selection, and true spiciness! We eat here practically every week. And if you're into biryanis, well then, go on a Sunday for a biryani buffet.

Hi Yelpers! This place has changed names twice in the last year and 1/2 (suspicious). Take a look at the informative reviews (including mine) under their previous name "Ruchi South Indian Cuisine"....and beware!

Really liking the difference between Charminar and most other Indian restaurants in town. I think they said it was southern cookin' - south Indian that is. First meal there was their Sunday brunch. Last night we had the Chicken Chile, the Paneer Chile, and the Biryani. I am really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, including a few different varieties of fried rice, noodle dishes, and seafood dishes.

Fantastic food, the naan was my favorite so far. The menu was easy to understand. Great location too, right off 94. The venue is large so seating is never a problem.

Food is good. Service is acceptable. Prices are on the higher side. Location is somewhat hidden so this may be the reason the business is somewhat slow causing frequent restaurant ownership changes.

I had high hopes for this restaurant with the change of ownership. Appears that they are going the same way as the prior owners although Decor has improved, windows clean, door now on hinges, carpet less sticky but the food quality / consistency is beginning to vary. Yesterday Food selection was limited and no naan as tandoor was broken. Experience was not good.

I loved Ruchi's but I seriously love this place more. Everything I've had here has been amazing and the samosas were the best I've ever had. I usually opt for the veggie entrees and the malai kofta is probably my favorite thing on the menu. Seriously, don't let the bad reviews turn you off, its so good!
