I love this place. Every time I am in Mankato, I will stop and have a slice. Just preserving a long tradition. Order some pizza on Fri and Sat night, have some beer, go to the bars, come back and have left over. Can you top that? I don't think so. This pizza tastes great before and after some drinking games too. Another secret, if you lost the poker or blackjack games with your buddies that night, no worries, Jake's pizza will help you ease the pain. Trust me. Only problem with their thin crust sausage pizza is that, your buddies turns into pizza zombies and decides to devour it if you keep it unprotected. So make sure you secure your pizza in an iron safe with eye or thumb scanner. You know sometimes it is hard to punch those numbers when the whole world is wobbly and moving. So you get the point, I like Jake's pizza.

This place is hyped up soooo much, it's honestly a bit ridiculous. The pizza is alright, but there are better choices in Mankato. Eating-in is okay but I found it to be filled with screaming children every time I went, and the pizza seemed so lackluster I felt I could've made a better one at home for half the price. Give it maybe one try before going to a different local pizza shop.

I lived here and love the pizzas when I'm in the restaurant. But consistently the ones that are delivered just don't make it-not very hot, crust not crispy at all. I ordered the one with sausage, green olives and something else. Had no flavor at all, really short on ingredients. I would not recommend delivery.

When you're at a basketball tournament in Mankato Minnesota and you did not make a plan for dinner and someone suggests you order in pizza, you will probably order from Jakes. And you will, trust me, get the pizza that your forgot to plan ahead ass deserves. Which is to say crap. Bad sauce, greasy etc. Note to proprietor: when multiple families order multiple pizzas to be delivered to a hotel room, perhaps consider adding some napkins and even a paper plate or three? 5 pizzas in a hotel room and no napkins? When I asked if he had brought any napkins, the driver looked at me like I had suggested he somehow weld a barber pole to the side of his head. He was without the capacity to respond in any way. Looks like the locals love this pizza. Interesting.

**Ummm, Jake's...you need to update your location to reflect where you've relocated... (330 Stadium Rd)**Old address is still showing up** Anyway, my dad was part of the construction crew that built the original Jake's location on Monks Ave. He was a good friend of Sarge's, too. When I was little, my dad would take me here regularly. I have a lot of happy childhood memories in this old space. My mom & I always ordered pepperoni pizza, whereas my dad always ate a poorboy sandwich. Jake's Stadium Pizza=Good Stuff!!!!! I'm no longer living in MN now, but the last time I was home (2007), I ate pizza here with my family. It was a great way for me to re-connect with my dad, who passed away in 2005. It was awesome to tell my son that his grandpa helped build the pizzeria we were sitting in, and share old memories for a time. I was, understandably, really sad to learn Jake's moved locations and "upgraded" their building structure. I'm glad my dad wasn't around to see that. I haven't been in the new location, but I do like how the decor resembles the old restaurant in the pictures I've seen on their website. Kudos, Jakes!!!!

oooh, my mouth is watering just thinking about Jake's Stadium pizza. I have been gone from Mankato for 5 years now, and this is one of the things I miss the most. I love the thin crispy crust and the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the topping help hold it all together. I could literally sit down and eat a whole large pie to myself its that addicting! Pizza's are fantastic, the poorboys however are nothing to write home about. Oh, and a couple of years ago they opened a new location in Hutchinson - SCORE! It just so happens that is where my parents live. I cant wait to get back to MN in a few weeks and Jake's will definitely be on the agenda!

The pizza is good and the beer is always flowing. The new location is really nice as it's large enough for groups and has a private party room too that is free to reserve.

Great place for a nice thin crust and unique type of pizza. I got a small taco pizza and it was very good. It was enough for three separate meals. Best part is the lettuce on top and the hot sauce! Yum!

Great place for a thin crust pizza - sausage and pepperoni. No place is better. Very kid-friendly. Old school kind of pizza parlour - the kind you don't really see anymore. The Vikings players seemed to have liked it too, with training camp close by. Nice owners.

I have been there twice, first time it was great, second time not so much. Go there for the thin crust if you do. and be sure to get a mug of 1919 Root Beer which is made locally in new ulm

Place is ok and has lots of space for groups. Pizza is a little greasy. Would rather just go down the hill to Paliagi's
