Came while visiting family. Nice atmosphere, good portion sizes, vast menu, and friendly staff. I wish we could go again.

I've ordered pizza from Carbone's before and I enjoy their food, but the service I received last night was horrible. I ordered a couple pizzas for delivery on a Friday night. After an hour and a half and no delivery, I called to see what happened. I spoke with one employee who then put me on hold and transferred me to another employee. That employee told me that they lost my order and never put it in. They would start my pizzas and send it over, but it would be another half hour. Seeing as it would have been over 2 hours from when I ordered to when I would get the food, and it was getting late and I needed to put the kids to bed, I told them to cancel the order and credit back my account. The response I got was that "I'll credit back your account. Sorry.", and then she hung up the phone without another word. It was incredibly rude. I called back after a minute to see why I was treated like that, and the two people I talked to acted like they didn't know they talked to me. It felt like they didn't care that they screwed up our dinner plans for the night. It's a shame that their service was so poor as like their pizza, but it would be hard to go back there again.

This is my favorite pizza! Every time I come to Minnesota from California I always get at least one pizza. I have been eating Pizza at Carbone's for over 30 years and will continue every time I visit. Tracy was a great server and the pizza was excellent as usual. I love the thin crust and the sauce. You never have to ask for extra cheese because they already put plenty on.

They have a very good lunch menu with very good prices. I had the hot dago. The only change I would suggest they toast the bread. A friend had the mini pizza and another had the half order of alfredo. I think the waiter was new he wasn't the sharpest but he tried.

Love the atmosphere. A bit spendy to feed 3 teen age boys who can eat an entire large pizza themselves but the food has always been good.

I am signing up for Yelp just to post this review! I have been eating at Carbone's for years and years. I have always been warmly greeted when I go in and service is always top notch. I go in with the same group of people every time and get the same thing, and the staff remembers us every time we come in. The host is amazing, our waiter tonight (John) was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you are looking for a hidden gem on the menu, I highly recommend the pizza sandwiches. They are like a thin crust calzone, or a thin crust pizza rolled up like a burrito. Very tasty, always hot, and filled with just about any pizza topping you can think of. Kudos to Carbone's.

My family is in LOVE with this place! We live within such a close distance so naturally it's our "go-to" spot. Best food you'll find around this area with decent prices too. I recommend their pizza or hoagies! The cabin vibe makes it feel like home and if you're lucky enough to grab a spot by the fireplace in the winter it makes your dinner experience even better! **Don't forget to try the patio when it's nice out!!**

How do you not give this place 5 stars? Each time I travel from back to my hometown (Circle Pines) from Las Vegas, I stop in here. There's nothing that compares to Carbone's and my city has some amazing pizza from all around the world.

This place is amazing and unlike any other Carbonies! They have unique things on their menu in addition to all the regular favorites and a full bar! The staff is friendly and the food fantastic!

From American to Italian cuisine, they have it all. The garlic cheese bread and amazing marinara sauce is delicious! My husband loves the pizza, I love the pizza too, but I get the grilled chicken sandwich (so we can take some zah home) and our daughter gets their very tasty burger. Fries are super too! The wait staff is polite and attentive. I highly recommend taking your friends/family here.

Very good food. Haven't really tried anything that wasn't good. Be prepared to wait...many times it takes quite a while to get your food.

As far as suburban chain restaurants go, Carbone's is the best I've experienced. I know that sets the bar a bit low, so I'll go so far as to say it's actually good--burb chain or not. Their Super Pie pizza is by far my favorite. It's covered (and I mean COVERED--the toppings on this pizza are at least an inch thick!) in sausage, pepperoni, shrimp, salami, canadian bacon, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, and onions. Sounds like a crazy combination, but it's an incredible taste all mixed together. They also have great wings--spicy and meaty, a fabulous combination. This Carbone's is a definite local hot spot because on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night, the place is packed. I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want to avoid a possible wait of 30+ minutes on those nights.

This is a nice place to enjoy a casual dinner. It resides in a 2 story log home style building that was originally an office for a log home builder. The architecture is kind of quirky for a restaurant, but it works for me. If you are kid averse, this may not be the best place because large family groups come here often. They tend to seat adult parties upstairs for a bit of separation. There is a small bar area. They always have a couple of premium beers on tap. Tonight was Mirror Pond.Pale Ale. Tasty. Most of the menu is either red-sauce Italian or burger/sandwich fare. I had Lasagna and my wife had Tilapia. Both of us had dinner salads with blue cheese dressing. I was a little disappointed in the dressing because I remember it having nice chunks of blue cheese in it. Perhaps we just had a bad batch. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and hot. The plates looked appetizing. My lasagna was quite good. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, but the flavor was good. My wife's Tilapia over rice tasted fine. I am not a big fish guy (especially with a mouth full of gooey lasagna), so I am taking her word on it. They also have pizza here. We order their pizza at home quite often. The super pie is awesome.

I like this place for casual dining. It is a pizzeria in a beautiful log cabin setting. It's a weird location but it works just fine. The pizza is good but the pizza fries are awesome. They are thin strips of pizza crust covered with cheese and a side of marinara. My husband likes the hot dago sandwich. Italin sausage on bread and covered with marinara sauce. The service us always great and tonight was no exception. Prices are great. They have a nice deck in the summer but you'll feel like you are in a nice ski Lodge when you sit inside by the stone fireplace.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
