I stopped by for some afternoon tea. Not only did I find a good pot of tea (with tea leaves from Teasource), a slice of frsh pie was great! The shop offers food, ice cream, and even antiques. It is a really interesting place.

A new hole in the wall bar near home. Hooray! What you see is what you get with this place. Deep fried pickles are listed on the appetizer menu. Twice. Probably because they're damn good. Spear-style, not chip-style, with a crunchy batter and good ranch. Have them, you'll like them. Thin crust pizza that reminds you of your favorite hole in the wall bar back home. Only complaint? Canned mushrooms on the pizza. Everything else was fresh. We'll be back!!
Chicken was ok. Not expecting anything too fancy and it wasn't. Burgers would have been a better choice. They were good, service was really good.
This place is the best. Best service, food is good, people are nice. It doesn't pretend to be something more. Stop by... I like the fries, and the pizza. Get a quart of cole slaw to go.

Yes, the french toast was pretty good, they added cinnamon to the egg mix. I took a pass on the fruit topping that would have came from a can. But what I really loved about the experience was our server who called everyone at the table "hon". When was the last time anyone but your mom or your sweetie called you that? Our food came out fast, no complaints with the service or the prices. For a little home town cafe, this is about what you'd expect. Nothing over the top, and we all left with a full stomach.
I tried to order the Lumberjack with French Toast instead of pancakes but the waitress said no substitutions. I ended up with a 1/2 order of French toast. Middle of the road for quality. Food was delivered fast and hot. Server could have been more customer service oriented. I'd come back but be prepared for a fight. Not THAT bad but you get my point. Atmosphere is great, especially if you can get a seat looking down on the water. About as good as you're going to see in Jordan.
In general, I love small town independant restaurants - partly due to my love for a good "hot beef commercial". For the uninitiated, this is roast beef between two slices of bread, with a side of mashed potato. Then the whole thing is smothered with gravy. Simply offering this dish gives any restaurant my Real Deal seal of approval. I could have even given the restaurant a four start rating for the following reasons: 1) They also offer hot turkey AND hot hamberger versions of the hot beef commercial 2) Great view overlooking the river and local town team baseball field 3) My son's burger and fries were perfectly cooked and tasty Alas, this lovely small town restaurant only scored a three star rating because our server was clearly bothered by our presence. It wasn't just me and my son...she was equally terse with all customers. I don't think she has a good handle on the fact that her tip is in direct correlation to the service I recieve. I read Kristi C's review and wished I would have had the server she did (the server called everyone "hon"). There's no way we had the same server. Go for the solid small town food offerings and view, and maybe you'll get the friendly servers "Hon."

Ummm ... what a surprise??? I was driving south of the twin cities, saw this restaurant, and the 'European Dining' designation and was intrigued. First off, this is Minnesota. I'm not driving around souther France. How good could this place be? It was delicious. I had the seafood crepe and it was fantastic. The crepe was creamy and the shrimp and crab meat was very tasty, which is not an easy feat. When you think about it, that seafood had to be shipped from multiple locations to get down to Suzette's, so the fact that it tasted like shrimp and not a rubbery, smelly sea world in your mouth is a testament to the chef. Speaking of the chef, he also came out of the kitchen to say hello. Very nice man who wanted to make sure I was taken care of. He even made a fresh pot of coffee so I could have a to-go cup. I would highly recommend this little gem, and if I'm traveling that way again - I'll be stopping in.
This is NOT a French restaurant. Let me repeat, this is NOT a French restaurant. Try as they might I would not consider this place an amazing place to visit. It's in the middle of nowhere Jordan and their food is about one step up from hospital food. I had the mixed grill which consisted of a lobster tail, pork tenderloin, and a steak. The prices are astronomical for what the execution is on the food. The meat had a terrible sear on it, the cranberry sauce was awfully reminiscent of a Swanson's TV dinner, and the presentation was that of 1981. Combined with the fact that half the restaurant includes an awkward jewelry, clothing section, and a single waitress serving the entire dining room, I'm shocked that this place isn't out of business yet. It seems like the good days of this restaurant is at least 10-20 years past based on all the raving newspaper reviews posted along the walls. For what's being served here the prices should really be half of what the menu is asking for, I would have honestly been happier eating at a chain restaurant than coming here.
I've driven by this place many times and thought it was a locals kind of truck stop place. I was pleasantly surprised like many others that this little cafe is above what you'd expect by the exterior. It's an interesting mix of European cafe with Asian design influences and odd accessories for sale in the main dining area. However the menu offered unique and interesting choices from a creamy chicken with mushrooms on a puff pastry to crepes to the specials of beef stroganoff and lasagna. The bread was toasty with nice whipped butter and the asparagus potato leek soup was tasty along with the stroganoff and chicken. My daughter thought the beef in the stroganoff was a little dry and I felt that the sauces could have used a little heavy cream and/or cornstarch to thicken them up. They along with the soup were a little thin. But overall it was a lovely lunch, a good value and tasted lovely.

The common McDonalds. Generally very good with making food fast as you order. Can get pretty busy during the lunch and dinner hours.
I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Hands down the worst service I've ever had anywhere! I lost count of how many screw ups were made! What a joke!! Super easy order and not a single thing was right and not once said sorry.
