Enchiladas superb. Sauce was delicious, bold, slightly spicy like it should be unlike other restaurants where the enchilada sauce tastes like spaghetti sauce.
Today we stopped at me and julios in hastings. We had the best meal ever and a 100% better than yesterday at Las margaritas. Our server Jonathan was the best ever with a great personality.
We stopped here last Cinco De Mayo for our first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. They had a nice patio outside. Food was great - just wish it was a little less bland. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and had a nice atmosphere! Overall, I would stop here again!

Inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgable service. My wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo. The pasta is homemade, and the sauce rich and lovely. My salmon special was also very tasty and well presented. For dessert, my wife got a creme brulee and rated it an 8, which is pretty good because she is a bit of a creme brulee snob. Bernardo, one of the owners took the time to stop by our table and chat. Overall it was a great experience, and we will definitely return.
I have been wanting to try this place ever since they opened, tonight a great evening to sit on the patio and enjoy a meal, or so I thought... I ordered the special (champagne chicken) the meal was served with green beans and mashed baby reds. The mashed potatoes were very tasty and had a unique flavor. The green beans seemed fresh but was glazed with some sort of Asian teriyaki sauce that was over bearing and did not compliment the dish. This leaves me to the chicken. At first glance it looked great then I cut into it, it was tough or rubbery if you will. Once I took the first bite I knew this was a prebreadded fried chicken breast that had a bland poor attempt at a champagne reduction on top. So very disappointing, it is not difficult to use fresh chicken breast and make a flavorful reduction. I would pass on this place in the future. On a side note the sever Katie was wonderful and pleasant.
We had been trying to get in here for dinner ever since they had their soft opening. Bella Vista has taken over the space that used to be the Mississippi Belle which was closed several years ago after a slow steady decline. The new Bella Vista is a welcome treat. Nice décor, a mix of tables and large booths, a nice bar which greets you as you enter and several smaller tables for two in the bar area. They also installed some large windows in the front and side of the building which really lightens the place up. Here are some of my thoughts of the highs and lows and because there were both, I settled on a four. A future visit may well bring me to a five star rating. When we arrived we were told by the hostess that it would be a 20 to 25 minute wait. No problem we sat at the bar and ordered a libation. I ordered a Rob Roy which was very good. My husband ordered a local craft beer - not much can go wrong with that, and our third dining companion a glass of Prosecco. We also ordered an appetizer which was an angel hair pasta creation with two scallops and a lobster cream sauce. It was delicious but had a little too much of the angel hair for my taste. Our drinks were about finished and it was well past the 25 minute mark when my husband went up to the hostess and she said it would be another 20 to 25 minutes. Fortunately a table opened up for us much sooner that that. The place was hoppin as we heard it has been every night for dinner. It took a little bit of time for our server to get our drink orders and then our dinner orders. When the drinks came we also got a basket of rosemary bread. It was tasty but would have been so much more so if it had been warm. Also the olive oil for dipping was somehow off. We all stayed away from it and I ordered some butter which came in very cold hard little paper wrapped pats. I had ordered a glass of the house white to have with dinner and my husband got a manhattan which he declared to be very good. Onto the entrees which were fantastic - definitely five stars on those. My chicken piccata was the best I've ever had and it came with scrumptious smashed potatoes, a perfect accompaniment. Our other two meals were the seafood soup and spaghetti con vongole. Both were considered excellent!! The acoustics were pretty bad, but most of the artwork had not arrived yet. That should probably take care of absorbing some of the noise of happy, satisfied diners. We were all very pleased. For me this was at the top end of four stars. Next visit - and there will be many more I hope - this could slip into the five range. Yeah Hastings for having this little gem!!

I just love Taco Bell! Even if the service was bad I would still do five stars because Taco Bell is just that awesome! I especially like the Dorito taco. And the fountain pop is awesome too! Yay for Taco Bell!!!!
My husband and I love the customer service at this location! We have gone only threw drive threw and every single time have been provided outstanding service! Great employees!!!!
I've been there several times (drive thru) and it's a typical Taco Bell. I have had no issues with them.

I grew up in Hastings, and that means I grew up eating donuts from Emily's Bakery and Deli. I went into the shop just this week to get donuts for friends helping me with some work at home, and wasn't disappointed with the delicious treats I took home with me, but it was the service that was a complete let down. The ladies behind the counter weren't friendly and we stood at the counter waiting for assistance when we were looked at, then walked away from, as if she had better things to do than help us. It was frustrating and immediately my thought was 'I know what I'm going to write on yelp.' Probably the best donuts in H-town, but not the best donuts you'll ever eat.
With Hastings being a relatively small town, I think Emily's is one of its greatest assets. You can't get baked goods like this anywhere else in the area. Prices are reasonable, variety is good, and the frosting is to die for!
Good fresh donuts but they all really taste very much the same. They get cranky if you go to use a credit card even if you are purchasing over the minimum amount. Over all I would much prefer a Dunkin Donuts.

i always go by the "give it 2 trys"....ive bee to this place twice....i hate it. the place doesnt know what it wants to be. casual, or fancy fancy. very quite and strang inside. the wait staff is nothing special ....at all. of course the most important part the food......trying to be over the top silly apps and dishs. the taste is blah, and the prices....oh god the prices $$$. one of the worst places in hastings.
Greek pizza, excellent, give it a try. Quaint, experienced staff. Tasty menu senection. 1 drawback, all bottle beer's. Good selection of craft and macro, but expect bottles.
Menu looked great. I question the quality and attention to detail on food prep. Service was great.

Bad. My mom and I stopped in for a quick late afternoon snack but left after a member of the front line tossed a grey colored Croc shoe across the food preparation counter which landed near the food. We left immediately. I called twice to speak with a manager but was only able to reach voicemail. 5 other customers witnessed the event but since Panera closed there aren't many options I guess. Disgusting.
I love Chipotle to death and so I'm kinda picky when it comes the level of service and whatnot. This chipotle is just fine. It's fast food so service is quick, pretty standard as far as food freshness and availability goes. My boyfriend wanted to buy a drink and I mentioned I don't feel like paying almost $2 for soda and the cashier gave us a cup for free which was SUPER NICE! Comparatively, I haven't seen this chipotle to be as busy as other ones but I'm sure it can be.
Just a side note, Chipotle is a chain store. They really cannot control the costs(to those complaining about the cost of Chipotle). Although yes, it's a bit more expensive than fast food, they use healthy ingredients from local farms-which I believe is worth the few extra bucks. The service is fast, friendly, and fun. I highly recommend the Hastings Chipotle.

Excellent food and service. We all had the "small" prime rib. I think we all brought home another meal or two each, easy. One of the best prime rib meals I've had in recent years.
If you want a throwback supper club meal, here's the place. Classic good food as evidenced by it being packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Prime rib is great as are many other entrees. Great service and family operated for years so they have pride in what they do. Decor and age are a bit off putting and humorous to the younger crowd. I love to go here to feel young since there are times we are the youngest folks there, and we are 60. Want to see America as it once was, and have some great food, here you go.
Wiederholt's gets generally good reviews; I've visited on a few occasions over the years and remember the experiences to be enjoyable and worthy of a repeat visit. Tonight, made us think it's ripe for a Robert Irvine intervention... It was date night and I thought my GF would appreciate the small town supper club experience - decor that appears to have not been updated since the Carter administration, sticky oilcloth tablecloths, congenial service, and great food. The bartender greeted us warmly and we had a good feeling as we were led to a table. We decided to split the nightly special BBQ ribs and the server immediately said it's $3 to split a plate. Does that include an extra salad or potato or something? Nope, just another plate but it does come with extra items on our signature relish tray and an extra bun. The "signature relish tray" consisted of 2 carrot sticks, 2.5 celery sticks. 2 green olives, and 2 black olives. Wow. My chicken soup was coolish and had bones in it. My GF's salad was dry from the bag iceberg lettuce with a cucumber slice and a grape tomato. She ordered blue cheese dressing and it came with some extra blue cheese! Yum! We were the only folks in the dining room still be served and were amazed that 3 servers chattered away while our dinner and $3 plate languished under the lights for 5 minutes... It's been our experience that when we we order a split plate the cook does the splitting in the kitchen. But here, we just got an extra plate and we had to do the rib and potato dividing. The ribs, priced at $18 I think, were described in the menu as meaty and lean. Our pig must have been in the final throes of anorexia when he deliriously wandered into the Wiederholt's kitchen. The only meat was pretty much between the bones and there wasn't a lot. The sauce tasted mostly like catsup thinned with a little orange juice and apple cider vinegar. It didn't taste bad but wasn't good either... The only time our server showed a spark of congeniality was when she dropped off the check. We figured she was new but that wasn't the case... Judging from the pics, we should have ordered the prime rib...
