Great lunch spot, or grab and go breakfast. Watch the papers, as there are always coupons. Always delicious and a great selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and muffins.

We stopped in on our way up north after seeing the parade of billboards. I struggled between a 4 and 1 star rating due to some ups and downs. The place is nice for where it is. The meal started with some beers they have a great list of half-n-half beers with Guinness. I opted for the Rock Mountain High which was mixed with Coors Light. And mixed is a literal word. The beer was not layered at all just poured together. The waitress suggested the cheese curds; they were pretty solid however they are not worth the 45 minute wait and I don't mean it was 20 and seemed like 45 it was seriously 45 minutes for deep fried cheese. I went for their fish fry platter it came with three choices of fish. The walleye was, as expected, great! I ventured out and tried the blackened catfish which was right on point. My third choice derailed with the Ahi Tuna. It was very slimy and stringy and honestly tasted old. (Side note Tuna is my favorite sushi and fish) My date went with the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. The fires were solid the sandwich was about 60% breading absolutely minimal chicken on the sandwich. The waitress did ask how everything was and I voiced my opinion of the Tuna and chicken sandwich which is where it all turned. The manager came over and basically told me I didn't know what Ahi Tuna was "sir, it's ahi tuna which means it's sushi grade and is supposed to be cold" yes ma'am I know I ordered it extra rare this isn't my first rodeo. After she straight up insulted me we payed what was left of the bill (more than it should have been) and left. I am all for second chances but this place will not get one. Bonus, it shares a parking lot with White Castle, go there instead and you'll probably get better treatment.
Thursday night .... Happy Day, half off all! Bier and apps. Well not all apps

We visited Culver's in forest lake on the way back from Taylors fall. The burgers were awesome and we had seconds. The service was quick and helpful.
Wow The menu for the custard is very confusing. And one employee could not explain it. The staff treated us like we should know the menum We r not from an area where there culvers. The dinning room chairs and booth seats are all riped and the place where the napkins r is filty!
We love the ice cream. It is so yummy. If you like shakes, concrete mixers or banana splits, this is the place for you! They have a flavor of the day if you're wanting to try something new. My husband also loves the cheese curds, but we're happy no matter what we order. And it's well priced. You can eat for under $10 pp.

I know it's an overused phrase, but this is really what "home cooking" is all about. No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll find it here. Large portions, decent prices. You will never have a better turkey dinner (Sorry, mom).
Went here for a business lunch. The server was not very friendly, seemed irritated that she had to wait on us. Ordered a chicken sandwich that was very dry and bland. My associate ordered the Monte Cristo, which was delicious. We also shared onion rings and fries, both were literally WET!! No crunch at all, no flavor. I asked for ranch while ordering, and again after the food arrived, which I never received. I asked to speak with management after our meal and she seemed to have the same attitude as our server. Terrible service, terrible food, no accountability for either. Also way WAY WAAAAYYY overpriced!! P.S. Shared this experience with my Fiancée and her response was "NEVER go to key's! The service is horrible and we always find hair in our food."
As I'm originally from the northern suburbs, Key's has, for some reason, been our default go-to place for brunch. Mostly because one of my friends love it. If I had to describe Key's in one word, it would average. Completely average. The wait was incredibly long. We went for Sunday brunch at around 10:30 and had to wait about 25 minutes to get a table. The overall service was great. The waiter, an obvious high schooler, was very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. I got the salmon eggs Benedict. Tasty, but nothing special. The portion size was also good; it was enough but not overwhelming. I would go back, because I always do. But by be same token it was plainly average overall.

Their site mentions cooking since the late 70s. Unfortunately, that is what my egg rolls tasted like- that they had been laying around since the late 70s. I love egg rolls and was really looking forward to some, but was REALLY let down. They looked soggy. As soon as I bit into it, I knew it was going to be terrible. I spit it out, looked at the inside of it which looked like rotten icky brown cabbage. Worse egg rolls I have ever tasted. Their pork fried rice wasn't as tragic as the egg roll, but wasn't spectatcular by any account. Ordered some won ton soup hoping to cure my cold. It was ok. The broth was meh, and the wontons had a strange taste to them like they had been dipped in sesame oil. Not my favorite. Decor is very old- needs a much needed update perhaps to match the vibrance in the online pictures. This place was really dissapointing on many levels.
They have great authentic Chinese. I really like the food. The main hostess can be a bit on the ride side and the dining room badly needs to be refreshed. But, for take out it is fantastic.
Only have eaten here a couple times but always left satisfied. Reminds me of Chinese restaurants of 30 years ago.

Frequently came here over the years as this is the closest Wendy's in the area.. Never had an issue, unto tonight... We had a cashier at window 1 collect our money who gave my mom and I dirty looks and was super rude. Then when we drove around the building to leave, we were looking in to see if he was still at the window and he stared out the window and started yelling something at us... Very inappropriate behavior for a customer service position... It was very peculiar, and not typical behavior at this location. The food was good as usual. No complaints there..

My son and I were in the area and decided to stop for lunch. The menu looked fabulous. The calamari was most likely teetering on not being fresh. My son has it a lot and he said the coating was fine but the calamari itself was slimey. My antipasto salad was a lot of lettuce and anti just about anything else. There were some hunks of packaged ? Summer sausage on it but little else. My sons tortellini was good. We will try something else next time. Mediocre and expensive.
Over priced food as I recall, I didn't have anything I would want again. Location is in an awesome place but fall short of good pizza or anything else
A friend and I went here for lunch with a coupon for buy one get one entree free. We ordered a drink and were sat on the patio with a lovely view. There was nothing on the coupon to indicate that there were any restrictions, but just to be sure, we asked our server what the coupon applied to. She replied that there was no restriction and that the normal rules apply - the paid meal must be a higher cost than the free meal. We ordered our meals and the food was pretty good. With all this said, it was much to our surprise when she brought us our bill and explained that she was sorry. The coupon indeed did have restrictions, there was nothing she could do about the bill, and that she hoped we would come back. Needless to say, this is inexcusable and we will never be dining here again. Extremely disappointed.

Reviews:
The food is Consistent with other Applebee's, wholesome and fresh, but their real asset is the personnel. My siblings dine there often, but I live farther away. After only two visits, Nicole the bartender feels like family. Kudos for hiring bartenders and servers who are just down home good folks!
Do you like horrible food, weak watered down over priced drinks and horrible service? If so, then this is the place for you! I have been to this Applebee's 4 times in the last year. I have yet to get my order right. It's not like I order difficult items, how hard is it for a burger with sauces on the side instead of on it? After our last visit I vowed I will not step foot in this establishment. Our waitress took almost 20 minutes just to take our drink order, I guess talking to the bartender at the bar was more important then helping her customers. When she finally took our drink order she took our food order. About 30 minutes later she set food down in front of us and wandered away, never to be seen again. The food was terrible, everything tasted freezer burnt and over cooked by their microwave. My burger tasted "nuked" instead of grilled as did my wife's pasta. It was completely disgusting and I would have complained if we had a server. Don't even get me started on their "specialty drinks"! It tasted like a kiddie cocktail! We ended up requesting our check from a different waiter who looked just as bored as our initial server. Our check was paid with cash and we left vowing never to return. Don't waste your time people, there are MUCH better restaurants in the area.
Do not go here!!! The staff is terrible!
