We r fans!
Cafe 116 is an amazing place to stop if you're traveling on 94 and looking for a bite to eat. I had the Reuben, which other people have recommended on Yelp and it did not disappoint. It's prepped hot on a panini press which adds a great crunch to the sandwich. We got a bread pudding to go and it was perfect, even unheated. The kahlua sauce was decadent but not too rich. Would strongly recommend it as a treat.
Get the County Road 1. So good. Ordered a famous bread pudding to go, it was probably the best dessert I can remember. You'll want to order it, won't let you down. Large enough for sharing. Cool atmosphere for rural MN. Definitely worth a try! My friends also enjoyed the Reuben and the 3 bean salad (which he's still thinking about 3 hrs later).

After our first visit here about a year ago, we make it a point to stop by City Bakery every time we are in Fergus. Family owned and operated, with the friendliest staff that we've ever encountered. Lots to choose from and everything is tasty!! Love the bacon caramel apple fritter. The breads are pretty good too.
We made a stop while we were in town for business. For a small town bakery, the prices were very low and the shop had a cool, retro vibe. The portions are a little small, but good value overall. They even have homemade dog biscuits which is becoming more popular at bakeries. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is a $5 minimum charge for cards, so keep that in mind, but it's not hard to spend $5 at this little gem!
Fun little morning coffee shop. Lots of regulars Pretty good coffee. Tons of pastries, but the ones I bought weren't the best. The maple bar wasn't made that day, maybe a day or two old. The cinnamon roll was lacking cinnamon, and lots of it. It was really tasty bread, kind of like French bread, but I was wanting an ooey gooey cinnamon everywhere frosted cinnamon roll. The caramel donut and the honeymooners were yummy though :) Very friendly staff and great atmosphere

1. Wood fired pizza is amazing. Fresh ingredients and a sourdough crust that is very unique 2. Local beer 3. Great ambience 4. Friendly staff 5. Owners are present and make sure your experience is nothing but positive
This place was very nostalgic. It reminded me of a 1930s school house. All of the table and chairs were old and the lighting was retro. It felt very traditional but yet trendy at the same time. The pizza was great. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a sausage pepperoni. The toppings were fresh and the crust was thin and we'll rounded. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday evening. We had about a 15min wait to get a table. Once we got a table it took a little over 1.5 hours to receive our pizza once we had placed the order. The waitress was nice and the girl who seated us was also nice. Summary: good pizza but not good enough to wait over an hour for. Maybe others don't mind the wait for their pizza if they drink...? Have a few beers while waiting for the food.
I'm giving this place 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) pizza is fantastic 2) Fergus Falls needs more fun local spots like this 3) Service was very good and friendly 4) good selection of beers and wine 5) prices are reasonable for the high quality Our server was really bubbly and friendly and the atmosphere felt really welcoming and warm. We ordered the Margherita and ordered a cheese and added mushroom and pepperoni. We loved them both! The Margherita tasted so fresh. The cherry tomatoes were sweet and juicy, the mozzarella was perfect. It's great to see another local and artisan company pop up in Fergus. Now every time we visit family, we're definitely stopping here for dinner. The only con: the wait was super long. We had to wait an hour to be seated, then another 45 mins to get the pizzas. I didn't think this was enough to go down a star though.

I love their grasshopper cyclone and used to always beg to get one as a kid when I grew up in Fergus. I do wish they still had the drive UP type service. that was so unique here. Their fries are still amazing the burgers are OK :)
This is a good place to pick up your ice cream and support a small business. It is however not so much a drive-in but a drive through, small inside and patio. Best ice cream in town but smoothies are better sought else where.
Business has 50's motif, with a lot of old car pictures and small town feel. The onion rings were home made and best ever. Double cheeseburger on French bread was really good. Ms H says mango smoothie yum but probably more sugar than anything. Lots of people eating the chicken looked happy.

For what it is (Americanized Mexican fast food), they do well. Been there twice now in my travels. There are definitely some "lessons learned" to pass along: 1) "green sauce" isn't what they call their "spicy" green salsa, it's what they call their mild sauce packets (which tastes like ketchup and the slightest bit of onion - call the fire department! ~sarcasm~); 2) order a drink (even if it's water) 'cause they salt their hash brown nuggets heavily enough to substitute as a salt-lick; 3) don't expect Taco Bell - this place seems more (American) homemade. The service was friendly and the drive thru lane was reasonably quick.

I love this place! Keep in mind, this is a small town, so don't expect a what you might get in a higher end restaurant in a larger city. But, for a small town place, this is as good as I've been. The food is wonderful and I've always had great service. This is our go-to place when we want to treat ourselves. One of the best things about living in Fergus Falls!
Back for the third time. The place was packed. Eight in our party. The Carbonara Filet was very good with the cream cheese mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The Wine List is adequate and the wine prices more than reasonable. Still a solid four stars.
My wife and I had dinner for Valentines Day. We had advance reservations. We started off a bit on the wrong foot as we were seated in what was the worst table in the establishment. It was the closest table to the rear door. The problem is in the dead of winter with folks coming and going out the back door the zero degree breeze left something to be desired. We did ask to be reseated as there were 5 or 6 open tables. We were politely declined and told the restaurant was booked, even though several of the empty tables never were occupied during our 70 minute stay. Enough of that. My wife started with a flight of red wines. I had a Summit EPA. For $7.00 (might have been $7.50), the wines were a bargain and were good. I found the beer selection a bit thin. You will not get an IPA here. We each started with a house salad. Both were very good and freshly prepared. I had the halibut with mushroom risotto. It was excellent, and some of the best Ive had. I would highly recommend it. My wife had the surf & turf. A 5oz. sirloin & shrimp with mashed potatoes. My wife felt the char on the steak was too heavy for her liking. It was heavier than normal, but it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The shrimp were a bit disappointing, frozen & deep fried. The potatoes were good. As a result of the seating issue we were comped out wine & beer (about $12). I'd of rather not of been comped and been able to take one of the empty tables. I would rate our experience two ways. In the dead of winter it is a mistake to put that last table where ours was without some sort of thermal break. Even one of the other customers commented to us "what did you two do to get THIS table?" Besides, everyone entering from the back has to walk through the entire restaurant just to check in by the front door. Total price was $48.00 but would have been $60 plus tip if we hadnt been comped on drinks. For the food, I would rate it a 4 overall. For the experience, a 2. Overall it gets a 3.

Would the real Vikings eat here? Yeah I think so. Pretty much as expected. Full of locals. Good solid diner food. Had to get the Larryburger since I enjoy onions. It was super. The fries were pretty ordinary but not a throw away. I ate them all. Definitely worth the short drive off the freeway. It's quick, cheap and very local. The Nordic atmosphere is real homey! Enjoy.
A taste of the "Northland" dining! A classic feel and good food. I would definitely try the Reuben! A definite "Locals" hang-out... introduce them to the world of Yelp.
Every time we go the food and service are exactly what you would expect from a small town restaurant, excellent!! The kids meals are perfect and the prices are very reasonable!

While shown a seat promptly, service declined from there. Staff seems uninterested in diners. Food is also overpriced, food lacks flavor, and was unappealable plated. Menu has food stuck to it and floor was in need of a good cleaning.
Multiple times a customer and multiple times mucho gracias for the excellent food and service. Generous portions and a great atmosphere.
Mediocre Mexican food with horrible service. They are not friendly at all. I used to go there regularly, as Mexican food is my favorite and this is the only place in town I can get it. Every time I go there I order the same exact burrito, and every time, they make it wrong, so I have to send it back. If it was a complicated burrito I would understand, but it's not, it only has 3 ingredients lol. It got to the point where they gave me a tortilla with beans, and then a side of cheese and sour cream...I had to make my own burrito at the table. The employees are unfriendly and never smile. My husband is from Mexico and I am from Southern California, so we know our Mexican food and this doesn't come close. So now we travel 30 minutes away to Pelican Rapids to eat at their Taqueria.

This is a stereotypical TV style truck stop with one sassy waitress serving a bunch a truckers and some random tourists from San Francisco passing by. It was 6:30am and I had the gigantic veggie omelet with hashbrowns. Hubby ordered the bison chili and said it was de-lish (too much for me that early). Our food was quickly made. Sassy the server made sure that our coffee cups never got below the halfway mark. A fun stop inbetween Fargo and St. Paul.
Pray that wherever you sit you aren't being waited on by the waitress with the bad blonde dye job, you'll never get any service. Left after being ignored for 10 minutes because she was too involved with gossiping with some friends to actually do the job she gets paid to do.
Barb and sandy were great... food is really good . Chili was fabulous. Will definetly return... thank you for the GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE
