Stopped in for breakfast while in from out of town. Great food. The bacon was some of the best I've ever had. Truly great stuff. Would stop here again if ever back in Faribault.

Went to Bernie's this past Sunday. Place was packed for breakfast but we waited only about a minute before we were seated. We were four and I had the sausage hash dish. Rest had French toast, omelette and corn beef hash. Everything was super. Generous portions that required doggie bags. Super friendly servers, and the coffee and offers of :"is everything okay?" - just kept on coming. Bathrooms were meticulous. My one disappointment is that they do not offer Eggs Benedict, which I find hard to believe in an establishment known for great breakfasts. We will all be back. Our experience was a very positive one! Thanks Bernie!!!

Bernie's is a great local spot for a solid, traditional breakfast. We were happy to find them during our visit to Faribault. We were on the hunt for something more sustainable than our hotel's continental breakfast. It looked like Bernie's is a breakfast/brunch & lunch spot and while it was plenty crowded on a Saturday morning the place is big and so we didn't have a wait. We were waited on promptly and received excellent service from the staff. Breakfast options range from your basic egg, choice of meat, and toast/pancake options, omelets, pancakes, french toast, biscuits & gravy, and larger options like chicken fried steak. If you're hunting for a breakfast burrito you won't find that here, but what you will find is done great & satisfying. We were happy to find that the hashbrowns are done nice and crisp - not some soggy pile of shredded potatoes. My sausage hash dish - which was a gigantic pile of potatoes with some sausage and a few pieces of green pepper, onion, and cheese with a couple of over-easy eggs was big enough for 2 or 3 servings. Too heavy on the potatoes for me, but if I hadn't been staying in a hotel I'd have gladly taken the extras home for more meals.

A terrific cafe breakfast. Lots of variety on the menu. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.
