What a lovely find! A friendly vibe with yummy food. Kids get homemade play doh! I had the hillside hawk add avocado! Next time 1919 draft root beer too!

WOW!!! is it possible to have a filling meal and not feel bogged down? Yes, here you get a nice portion size and every bite has amazing flavor. The steak sandwiches are awesome, get the Pico as an add on for the delicious chips! Great place, I'll be back every time I come to Duluth.

The beer onion soup was very good; the philly dilly sandwich, not so much. The beef was too thick and the flavor bland. The help was friendly and patient. Place was neat and clean. I don't think we would go back a second time.

This sandwich shop has some unique items on the menu which is awesome. They use bread from the 3rd street bakery and seem to use a lot of organic ingredients. There is vegan cheese available and they have gluten free bread. I had the roaster mushroom sandwich and really enjoyed it. The sandwich comes with a nice amount of tortilla chips. Things are created with care and you can tell. They offer a variety of tap beer and some cider. They carry Bent Paddle beer and all at a reasonable price. toastysduluth.com

Nice "comfy" place with a sandwich menu that perfectly marries comfort food(toasted sandwiches) with choices tapping into an array of great flavor combinations-from perfect simplicity to the more complex. We also loved the soups and tasty caprese salad. It was a great lunch after a nice hike.

My son took me to Toasties knowing I enjoy a great French Onion soup. Their soup had a nice twist with a twist of beer. The flavor was amazing and a nice portion size. Being a grilled cheese lover, I liked the variety of options. My first try gad to be the grill Gouda BLT since it truly was a combo of all of my favorites. The atmosphere was nice and the wait staff very tentative. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Incredibly delicious! Toasted just right! Not soggy!! I had the Cheddar Oregano (sharp cheddar, fresh oregano, tomato, and scallion). I had to add bacon because that's what I do!!! Cut into four pieces so you get that creamy goodness in every bite. The chips super fresh and crunchy. The pico seasoned just right! Staff - supercalifragilexpialidocious!!!!

Amazing, perfect every time grilled cheese with fresh, as local as possible ingredients. Excellent variety, excellent soups and even a grilled dessert! Recently they added outdoor seating which is a nice bonus! My favorites are the arriba arriba and the bruschetta. I am vegetarian so I have no opinion on the meat selection. I also love the beverage options, soda to wine to cold water. My only tip is to keep in mind that a perfect grilled cheese doesn't come quickly, so be prepared to wait a little longer than you might like, but trust me it is worth it!

Casual environment to enjoy delicious homemade tomato soup paired with an awesome grilled cheese sandwich. We had the Smoked Gouda BLT (yum!) and the special for the day, the Fig Gouda. Filling and tasty. Oh! And the caprese salad had great flavor and texture. I will totally stop again the next time I am passing through Duluth!
