My kids love the Chicken Wild Rice soup. Wife and I usually go for Crab Legs, Prime Rib or Pizza. Bonus---they hand muddle the Brandy Old Fashioned!

Great northern Minnesota supper club! Excellent food - great service. I guess you can get to it by boat, but it's not right on the lake. If you are in the Bay Lake area this place is a must!

They are a step up from your typical Lake area bar and tavern! Good mix of beers on tap, and it is hilarious when someone "blows the keg" and gets their tee shirt stating that fact. The owner is super friendly and mingles with the guests. Had the rachel sandwich and it was very good. 5 HD TVs in the bar area so good place to catch a game.

Just had the most perfect fathers day dinner. Great food (they have all the favorites, something for everyone), atmosphere and beer selection. The pizza is perfection and my very picky dad enjoyed his steak. It must say something when a local "big wig" is eating here with his family rather than his own lodge.

This place has "up north" written all over it. In a good way. The Lonesome Pine is a great place to grab a burger, some mozzerella sticks, a pizza, or a steak after an exhausting day on the lake. Large bar, even larger restaurant. Very woodsy feel--log bar stools, deer/fish/birds on the walls. But it's still bright and open. Great service. Family friendly.

I can't believe we didn't know about this place sooner! We have been coming up to this area for years(30+) and just found this hidden treasure! Excellent food! We had the Northern Pike cakes for appetizer! Excellent! chicken Wild Rice soup was fabulous! My husband thought the Bourbon street pasta was the best pasta dish he has ever had! Very friendly wait staff! Excellent service! Great " Up north" atmosphere! We are spreading the word! The secret is finally out!

Although decidely casual, the Lonesome Pine is your best bet for finer food in the Crosby-Ironton area. Who needs to drive to Brainerd with the Pine nearby? Note ... can be very busy during summer weekends.

This is a fantastic restaurant nestled in on Bay Lake! Josh runs a wonderful establishment, and you will meet him when you visit as he is a true host! You can access the Pine by car or boat. The LP has outdoor porch seating, a dining room, and bar seating. Outside there is play set for the kids, and corn hole for the adults. FYI there is always a wait so plan accordingly. They pour a great drink! Nice selection of beer and wine. The food is delicious, I alway have the grilled cheese and prime rib! The escargot is amazing! They always have nightly specials, and kids love the pasta. If there is a Vikings game just know it will be on as Josh is a true die hard fan! That for sure adds a star! Skol! Stop in, pull up a barstool, grab s drink, and enjoy your evening!

Enjoyed our dinner here tonight with friends. Food was good and appreciated the selection. I had the Langostino Lobster Linguine and my husband had the ribeye (a special). Our friends had the Bourbon Street Pasta. Decent wine list and service was nice. Nice to have a separate bar and dining area, but didn't like walking through the second hand smoke from all of the smokers outside before entering the restaurant.

Wouldn't think of going up north without a Lonesome Pine walleye dinner Always busy, always good. Well worth the wait! When the family starts planning the lake trip the first question is "When are going to Lonesome Pine?"

Bay Lake Special!! Love this pizza! It is fantastic!! Service is a little on the slow side so don't expect to be in a hurry. The pizza is worth the wait.

This is a four-star review FOR AITKIN COUNTY. I am leaning toward 3 or 3.5 stars, but given it is one of the only options in the area, I'll give it some credit. Drink selection was good: microbrews from all over the country plus a full bar. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our entrées, but that could be because it was the only time we went out to eat for a month. I had the reuben, a salad, and fries, and I was quite satisfied. Not sure the salad was worth $5, though. The reuben was tasty, but I wish the Thousand Island were spread on the sandwich. My boyfriend had a steak, which he enjoyed. Service was good, atmosphere was better. When I was told we could sit by the fire, I was expecting a bit more than the small gas fireplace. But the decor is cute and cozy, so I can't complain too much. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent food. Definitely one of the best if not the best restaurant in the area. Have been here 3 or 4 times and each time the food has been excellent. Restaurant is not on any major highway however it's not far from highways 18 or 6 on Katrine Drive West of Garrison and South of Deerwood, Minnesota. Place has a Northwoods feel to it and is well worth a visit.

My husband and I were spending the weekend in the area so popped in late dinner. The restaurant side wasn't too crowded so we got a seat quickly. Service was friendly. Menu pretty varied on entrees with sandwiches, pizza, pasta and burgers. I liked the side selection so traded fries for some really tasty butternut squash with my walleye sandwich. A huge chunk of fish, BTW. Not a huge wine or beer list, but good for a vacation town. they did have ste st marie reisling which is a solid choice. I'll likely return next I'm in the area.

Service was excellent. The food however, just ok. and that is after sending back a dish and having it replaced. Great service, food o.k., price way too high for the offering Seriously, the andoulle pasta had one single slice of sausage? The chicken barely found. Of course our waitress made it good by bringing out a new dish, service excellent, but the food, definitely not worth the price

Very good food and atmosphere. Would be a 5 star if there were more vegetarian choices

Love the atmosphere here and have always been happy with the food and service. Great wild rice soup and I love their chopped salad. The only complaint we've had is their silverware. I know it sounds weird but it is so cheap that it bends and feels bad. For as nice a place, they need to spring for better flatware.
