I always stop here if I am in the area. very good pizza. they not only have an anchovy pizza, they cover it with gobs of the stuff ... more than any place I have been to. great service. $11 for a 2-topping 10" pizza, and $5 for a kids meal.

I'm from Southern minnesota on our 2nd annivrsary and wanted to have lunch so we picked sammys for the reason of being a little town pizza joint. The decor was nothing special same run of the mill tables and chairs out of a small town cafe. They are trying for the long time generational Italian family style pizzaria. With sayings on the booths like. "Sammys is the Cadillac? Or is Cadillac the sammys of cars." They have handfuls of these boasting statements. They do not live up to the hype. The pizza is nothing special, the crust is good,the sauce tastes a lot like tomato soup that was made with milk and water with Italian spice, the cheese was not smooth but had the grainy feel in your mouth telling me high oil content. The buffet is what we got so I tasted 5 different flavors that were hot out of the oven, dry wings and good salad bar. I would catagorize this as a yes man stop, that all that live here or friends support them but may not tell them the truth. I've had lots of pizza and this is nothing to be arrogant about.

Love this pizza, it is a little spendy. I get the sammys special (sausage, green pepper and onion) add with extra sauce. I have only had pizza here so I don't know how the rest of the menu is

Great place to go for pizza when in Cloquet. Probably the most unique interior of any of the Sammy's locations.

It's sad to say that Pizza Hut is better than this place. My family lives up here. I live in Chicago - the birthplace of Pizza. I know pizza. It is pretty sad that I go to the Hut over this place when ever I want a pie and am in the neighborhood.

Definitely a solid small town pizza joint. Their lunch pizza buffet is always good, their made to order pizza is cheesy, square cut and tasty. I've also had their spaghetti which was really flavorful and rich. Definitely a solid spot for sit down pizza and Italian.
