Very fast drive through! And always good food. Sometimes the drive through is so fast I barely have to stop the car! Top notch fast food and it seems like the employees take pride in what they do while working!!!

The staff here is fantastic. They had a great sense of humor and made sure we were well taken care of. We had the breakfast and the portions were plentiful. The place has fun artwork hanging everywhere and funny signs to make you giggle. Check out the pancake challenge. We didn't partake, but would love to watch someone try. Excellent place!
The Bent Spoon offers breakfast and lunch options all day during their business hours. Everything on the menu is homemade, special favorites of mine are the homemade potato chips and any of the daily soups. I love the fact that they serve bottled soda made without high fructose corn syrup, and that they have many gluten free options. My favorite item on the menu is "mama's platter". It's a combination of all things I love for breakfast!
Hmmmm. Yelp led us here. I must warn the rest of you who are vegetarians. There isn't a lunch option for you. The veggie melt is exactly like it looks. Buttered toast. There is one slice of provolone in there with some pesto and two tiny slivers of sun dried tomatoes. I would suggest more tomatoes with more other veggies. Spinach? On a heartier bread with grains and seeds? Anything would be better. $7.50... One in our party ordered the BLT and sweet potato fries. The server didn't mention that the fries were $2 extra so he got them by accident. They were scary/ugly/unappetizing. The photos say it all. Step it up Bent Spoon and you could have something good going.

Very nice and cute little coffee shop. Has all of the typical coffee shop options, fresh baked goods, and daily sandwich and soup specials. Comfortable seating, nice decor, and prices that are similar to most other coffee places. This is my third visit here and I have always been pleased by the friendly service and the good quality of the coffee and food.
My husband and I made a pitstop here. The staff was friendly, my husband's blended coffee was amazing.

Gordy’s Hi Hat Drive-Inn

Reviews:
I drive Highway 33 about 20 times a year and Cloquet is the required stop because there's not much to find north of Cloquet. For a while, it had to be Gordy's -- hamburger sometimes, fish sandwich others. They do make a good crisp fish sandwich but the white bread and the bad coffee make it at best a ho-hum. It's a sad day when you find yourself stopping at Subway to save 15 minutes of waiting and about ten ounces of fat, but that's the sad story from someone whose passport still says he was born in Cloquet.
Another Guy Fieri spot we visited on a long road trip this summer. Gordy's is good and now that we have eaten at two DDD visited locations, I must say Guy has a good taste when it comes to food. The location is Americana :)
Just drive in serving burgers, shakes, malts. Good food, not great.

Sammy’s Pizza

Reviews:
I always stop here if I am in the area. very good pizza. they not only have an anchovy pizza, they cover it with gobs of the stuff ... more than any place I have been to. great service. $11 for a 2-topping 10" pizza, and $5 for a kids meal.
I'm from Southern minnesota on our 2nd annivrsary and wanted to have lunch so we picked sammys for the reason of being a little town pizza joint. The decor was nothing special same run of the mill tables and chairs out of a small town cafe. They are trying for the long time generational Italian family style pizzaria. With sayings on the booths like. "Sammys is the Cadillac? Or is Cadillac the sammys of cars." They have handfuls of these boasting statements. They do not live up to the hype. The pizza is nothing special, the crust is good, the sauce tastes a lot like tomato soup that was made with milk and water with Italian spice, the cheese was not smooth but had the grainy feel in your mouth telling me high oil content. The buffet is what we got so I tasted 5 different flavors that were hot out of the oven, dry wings and good salad bar. I would catagorize this as a yes man stop, that all that live here or friends support them but may not tell them the truth. I've had lots of pizza and this is nothing to be arrogant about.
Love this pizza, it is a little spendy. I get the sammys special (sausage, green pepper and onion) add with extra sauce. I have only had pizza here so I don't know how the rest of the menu is

This place is now named Pedro's. Marguerita's are fabulous!! Salsa is great! Food was amazing!!! My friend says it is much better than the restaurant in Duluth!! TWe all ordered: the chimichanga mazaltan, the enchilada michoacan, burrito California, lemon-lime chicken...all fabulous!! This is the only place we are going to for Mexican food from now on! Did I mention how good the Marguerita's are? great service as well!!! This is the place to go to!
Their website clearly states that they close at 10pm. I am out of town and completely dependent on websites for current information. Walked in the door at 9:05 only to be told " we close at 9" I even pulled up their website and showed them where they had 10pm posted to which the blonde ditz at the counter replied "we've always closed at 9" like that somehow changed the time posted in front of her face. Bad business if you ask me. I'll be sure to never come back or recommend.
I gave the Lindo in Duluth 3 stars compared to this location. Now called Pedro's, the food here is amazing. The service is way better here than in Duluth. Mary is the best server EVER. Get her if you can. Unfortunately this location isn't close to me... Or else I would go more often!

Family Tradition Restaurant

Cloquet, 55720
Reviews:
Family Tradition is the taste of small town America. The staff is phenomenal, the patrons are friendly, the food is great, the owner is local, and the prices have kept regulars coming in for decades. It is a gem, and a Cloquet institution. If you want a recommendation, the John's Omelette with a side of pancakes is perhaps the single greatest dollar-for-dollar breakfast combo in the entire galaxy. But make sure you have someone to share it with. Whatever you do, make sure you try the pancakes. They are world-class, by any measure.
Food is ok, people seem friendly, smaller restaurant, with a look of cabin that is family oriented and a old time soda shop. Warning bring your stomach good size portions, fair pricing. Good bfast stop.
The service was excellent. The prices super reasonable. Here's the the thing- I loved my pancakes and side of thick cut bacon, but my companion thought his omelet was just okay.

Regular old mcdonalds. Staff is not the best when it comes to preparing the food. Always seems to be an issue with the orders, including messing up drinks and not knowing what food goes where. One time there was an order for a cheese burger with pickles, they added cucumbers. Goes to show how bad the managers need to be trained.
