Amazing Pizza!!!! Classic hometown Pizza place. Wish they sold T-Shirts.
I have been eating Choppy's pizzas since I was a kid, and they will always remain my favorite pizzas! I live out of state now but we always order one or two when I come home for a visit. They do not skimp on ingredients and have the best thin crusts. I just wish they could deliver pizzas to me in California!

A group of us gathered here for lunch and we were very pleased with the great food and wonderful service! Called ahead for reservations, and were given a private room so we could not only enjoy great conversation, but fabulous food. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience.
THE choice for northern MN dining. Hands down, the best service and perfectly mixed, high end drinks! If you are looking for something special, this IS the place!!! and if your looking for something more casual, sit in the bar area and enjoy the game. OBSESSED!
If you are ever in northern MN this is an excellent choice for dinner. the front half of the establishment is a bar and the back half is the dining room. We ate in the back half of the dining room. the restaurant has a small but good wine list and the food is mostly Italian. They have a nice variety of appetizers. We enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms on the recommendation of the waitress and they were very good. I tried the combination platter. The red sauce on the cheese ravioli was good, not too spicy or salty. The Alfredo sauce was well done, a tad dry. Nothing on the menu for dinner is to pricey. I think the most expensive meal on the menu was a steak item and that entree was around $20.00 For the price, location and quality I recommend this place for dinner.

The Stand

700 6th St SW
Chisholm, 55719
Reviews:
The Stand is a hidden gem in Chisholm, MN. When you drive past during the winter, it's closed, but, during the summer, it's a hoppin' place to be. You can sit in your car, and the waitress comes up to take your order. And, just like the 50's joints, they put your food on a tray on your window. Or, you can sit in their picnic area, where they have picnic tables. Wherever you choose to sit and eat, they have oldies tunes playing in the background to sing along with that may bring back memories or create new ones. Their menu boards seem endless, including burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, subs, salads, pizzas, and buckets of broasted chicken. They offer many kinds of beverages and ice cream from malts, shakes, and floats to cones and sundaes. The menu makes you want to keep coming back throughout the summer to try the other menu items. The Stand also has a history that makes it stand out. It opened in 1964, founded by Bob and Fran Bizal as an A&W Stand. Then, in 1982, it was purchased by Raymond Potami and Lorna Elhardt, when it became The Stand. The Giant Touch Of The Past, also known as The Ting Town, a famous local favorite sandwich has been passed down since the 50's. You can choose either beef, pork, or ham served with hot sauce, a sweet sauce, or you can have both. And, don't forget to try their Homemade Root Beer, in a frosted ice cold mug. It only comes in regular. If you order diet, it is an A&W can. Being a diabetic, I wish the homemade root beer came in diet. You can also bring a jug of Homemade Root Beer home with you, if you pay 50¢ for the plastic jug. The Stand is a must Stop In. They close at night, when the sun goes down, and make your visit before summer is over. Labor Day is usually the end of summer for us on the Northland, so hurry! check out our family's blog, leave us a comment and follow our adventures familyfriendlyoutings.bl…
Not worth it at all. I got a chicken sandwich fries and a shake. It came to 19.54. The chicken is very thin and small. Fries aren't very good and way too many for a normal person. The shake was good but 6.50 seems a little steep. This is the Last time I'll come here for over priced fast food.
Take the beautiful drive to Ely and go to Red Cabin Custard. Their food is homemade. Unlike this place. Sub par ingredients and WAY over priced.
